Just wanna say that who ever you book for online analysis (some people are homebound due to illness, others simply live too far away from a GOOD qualified analyst) the company should not accept just any photos you send them, like random selfies with makeup on or indoor light. I did my online analysis with Colour Analysis Studio (2 lovely italian ladies, they have videos here on youtube) and they gave me so much help and advice so that the picture they worked with would give the right result. They booked an 1 hour zoom call to go through the client process with me, I could ask questions and see how my picture looked in the different colours…For me it was lifechanging and such a joy! They didn’t just send me a result, they gave lots of personal feedback. Just wanted to say there ARE good options for homebound people aswell, you just need to find a good, qualified service😊❤
Yes absolutely, the photos should be in natural light with no makeup. If the company isn't happy with the photos then they should also tell you to submit additional ones. I've been very happy with Curate Your Style who did my online colour analysis and body shape analysis and they've been really helpful with answering my questions. I'm glad to hear you've had good success with Colour Analysis Studio! It's such a revelation getting your colours done :)
The final reveal!! It’s been so fun following along with you in this season search. I love how happy and excited you are taking about it. The closest HOC I have is about an hour away as well, I’m just trying to save up some money 😅 you look absolutely AMAZING in this red shirt and lippie. Glowing. I wasn’t surprised at all that it was a wow color.
Thank you so much!! I'm so excited about it all and find it really interesting. If you can save up then I'd highly recommend it, it provides so much clarity! :)
I just found your channel, and I have really enjoyed the color analysis content. Thank you! So many style influencers are doing minimalist neutral wardrobes. Think everything in white, black, beige, camel, and grey. I find that these things can look great on Instagram, but in real life most of us look best with flattering colors near our face!
Thank you so much! Yes a lot of minimalist fashion content does focus on those neutral colours, I can see why as it's easy to put outfits together and it looks chic. But I agree that adding in some colour can be so flattering, it's just finding the right colours for you :)
I like the idea of colors looking best at a certain percentage. I’ve found some colors are still flattering but in a smaller item like a scarf or in a print. That red lipstick is so flattering on you!
My late mother did this in the late 80s early 90s - it was part of a hen party the hens had their colours checked and she had a fan of colours in her make up drawer. Also I thought that lipstick was the mac one you brought recently! Fascinating video!
How interesting... and surprising!! I thoroughly enjoyed this video. I've got my appointment in some days and after watching this I'm even more excited than I was. TFS your experience Vicki. Isabel 💛
I'm happy you found your color palette , and in a four autumn types system ! It also helped me reevaluate my own , as it's close to yours .... so I can't be a true autumn because many of your colors would still be too strong , I'm close though . In other systems I'm almost a " toned soft autumn " removing many colors .... in another system I fit in the "calm autumn" with kind of a limited palette but they are right and , funny , they are the ones in my interior design .... It's really a quest refining these systems 🙂 Thank you for your video and update ! Can't wait for your next style evaluation !
I just found this video, so I know that I'm late, but you asked us to guess your season before you started, so I'm guessing that you are an autumn. Thanks for the video btw! I am scheduled to have my color and style analysis in a week or so and have been perusing videos online.
This was really helpful. Thank you. I’ve got the ball rolling booking an appointment. Can’t wait to get it done. And now thanks to you I’ve got even more of an idea of what to expect. Your colours (both makeup and sweater) look absolutely wonderful on you! 😍
@@vickilouise7764 forgot to tell you Vicki that I’m a bright Winter. 😳 I was stunned, but I love most of my colour palette, and I’m hoping to have my style analysis this coming weekend. I can’t wait!! 🤗
@@BeaunaturelleFeb11 oh what a gorgeous palette! I’m envious of the bright colours winters get, especially the pinks. Ooh please let me know how your style session goes! 😊

Just saw this (2 months late to the game, I guess...) and you look AMAZING! I also had a similar experience when I got my colors done: all of a sudden I had permission to wear my favorite colors. I'm an HOC Summer and I remember looking through my palette the first time and feeling so grateful because all of the colors are so beautiful.
I'm starting to watch this and I think you must be warm and bright,so bright spring seems to be your best option I'm just guessing I'm starting to watch this
This was so interesting! I’ve always wondered about my coloring. I love warm makeup but not warm colored clothing. I looked up the closest person to me and it would be a 3 hour flight. I guess it isn’t as popular in the US but I loved hearing about your experience!
It seems to be becoming more popular in the US so hopefully a consultant will open up by you soon. I'm following lots of HoC consultants on Instagram from the US and they post so much on their stories so they'd be really useful for you! Kinda annoying for me though if they post clothing from Target or US only brands haha :P
Autumn confirmed, yay! Interesting about the 3 reds. I wasn't familiar with that aspect of HOC. So which red are you wearing in the video? Or is it not a HOC lipstick?
Not sure why there was an assumption that autumns have darker brown hair and brown eyes. Many times when you look up the autumn season it’s redheads that are show as classic autumns. I’m not through to the reveal of your season yet but my immediate guess was warm autumn or soft spring.
One thing I've always been intrigued busy (that never gets mentioned) is rose gold/copper jewellery, I'm warm but yellow tones within warm pallets don't look good, Rose gold looks better on me than gold, it would be good to see if these consultants have a suggestion on who looks better in rose gold than gold.
Yes I'm not sure what HoC recommend with regards to rose gold. It's warm so would be best suited to springs and autumns but I don't think rose gold looks that good on me :/
Hi! Thanks for this. I've been binging on color analysis vids & yours came up due to the algorithm. I learned something new - the three points of red! I'm a true autumn (self diagnosed/ draped) so it was very useful. I have rust colored clothes, so I'll make sure to use a rust/ brown-red lipstick when I wear them. I already have lots of clothes that are in autumn colors and have warm makeup too. Cool toned makeup just look "off" on me. I somehow knew that I was warm but draping myself confirmed it. Cheers to autumn!
I'm glad you've found my videos and find them helpful, I plan on doing more like these! I agree about cool toned makeup, it felt off on me too and now I know why!
Yes it does, it's very useful! For autumns, tonal dressing is recommended which I find easy for browns/beiges, but haven't really tried it for say the purples or reds/corals.
New subscriber here! Could you do a video explaining the differences between vibrant and leaf autumn, please? I know I'm one of those types, but I can't really tell wich one. Thank you so much!
My guess would’ve been soft autumn just because your hair and eyes seem more muted but I am not good at all with figuring out colors. I have zero idea what I am 🤣 which I think I should be able to tell. I get torn between more muted colors or brights 😂. It’s all confusing
It's so difficult to look at ourselves objectively and try to figure out our own season! I definitely needed a fresh pair of eyes who knew what they were doing to help me haha!
@@vickilouise7764 I definitely want to get a color analysis done so I can feel confident in knowing that the color actually does suit me. @@vickilouise7764 I think I am Autumn or Spring which totally surprises me because I always thought I had cool skin and must be a winter because my skin is so fair 🤣!
