  • I took a day trip to Silver Springs Florida to kayak the Ray Williams water way and Silver Springs river. It was one of the best day trips I have ever taken as I got to see so much wildlife and be able to experience the springs relatively alone, barely seeing anyone else along the way (except near the spring head). I saw two alligators eating a dead dear, a wild monkey at the boat launch and a manatee eating seagrass along with a host of other wild animals such as a raccoon, turtles, fish, birds. It was a fantastic trip that I will highly recommend.

Great example of what to look forward to at the springs- different time, different experiences. The colors on that baby gator had me thinking "watchband" lol!

Epic footage!! Amazing underwater shots! The manatee eating on the bottom was priceless. Incredible alligator footage on the surface and underwater. I hope this video is hugely successful and brings lots of views and subscribers. You deserve it.

@sailingslowmotion no level, we're just two guys kayaking with cameras. I'm proud of you for not sending the drone up. It would be temping to get an incredible shot but I did notice they don't allow drones there. I really enjoyed that trip down the river with my boys.

Great filming there! Not to many people get to see a few gators eating a small deer. Your video's are getting better and better.

Thank you, it was pretty crazy seeing that in real life. The video did a good job capturing the experience but I wish it showed how big the big gator really was

That’s some great footage!! You are much braver than me getting that close to the gators. I’m surprised you saw so many gators. 20 years ago we tubed down the rainbow river which was about 3-4 hours. We did the trip 2 days in a row and only saw one alligator. I’ve also been on the Weeki wachee a couple times and never saw any. I figured it was because they didn’t like the colder spring fed water, but they seem to be pretty abundant there.

Thank you and Yeah, I seem to see a lot of them when I go out. Might have to change my name to "Gator" 😂. I shouldn't see any this weekend though, I'm headed up to Cedar Key to check that place out and run the coastal waters. Thanks again
