Heck yeah dude! To me, this is the most impressive run since Ninja Gaiden. The creativity and intricacy of the strats combined with the level of skill is insane. Thank you for avenging all of the childhood frustrations these games caused.
Thanks this was a really great challenge and a lot of fun! Some of the others haven't been so enjoyable😆. I'm going to continue avenging our childhoods with Punchout next.
Holy crap man, you continue to defy the limits of what is humanly possible on Nintendo, from the Demon Head kill to Ghosts 'N Goblins damageless to now this! I assumed that at least a little bit of damage was required by design in this game, but I guess I was wrong.
There are a couple of doorways that unless you bounce through just right or manip the enemy spawns you will take a hit. Its amazing how many game that we have been able to find a way even when damage looks unavoidable
This Metroid run makes 24 on the FlawlessNES playlist. The next completed one will be #25, so you've been wrong when answering that question all this time... but if somebody asks after the next one gets completed, that answer will be correct. That Ninja Gaiden flawless run will forever be known as one of the greatest moments in video games. Everyone thought it couldn't be done, and you come along and prove them wrong. Fun fact. Hearing about that run in one of Karl Jobst's videos is how I found this channel, and I've been enjoying my time here ever since. 😄 Additional fun fact. You and Karl are both absolute legends. 21:42 made me laugh *WAY* too hard. 🤣 And I was *STILL* outdone by Sharon. 👀 I can't say for certain, since I'm not UglyOwl, but I'm pretty sure what was meant by "read now or miss it forever" is kind of like how, near the end of a wedding ceremony, the priest asks anyone who objects to "speak now or forever hold your peace". Random Nelson Muntz sighting at 35:22 (may be right when it changes to 35:23 , but I don't want the timestamp to accidentally miss the sound effect... and adding this part in parentheses allows both timestamps to be used to see if it was necessary to subtract a second for the first timestamp 👍). 37:38 is when we first hear the best music in the game. I mean, all of the tracks on Metroid are great, but there's just something extra special (that I can't pin down with words) about this track. I don't like being a naysayer, and I certainly know better than to doubt you when it comes to these damageless runs, but I'm not sure how it's possible to avoid damage from every single vertical bamboo spike in the first indoor section of Japan in Double Dragon III. What I know for certain is that, if avoiding damage from *all* of those is possible, you will be the one to find the way. Always Be Dodging. Never heard of that fishing technique before, and I saw the full damageless run of Double Dragon at least twice. 😎 55:22 was incredibly close. That, or I need my eyes checked. Or both. Whatever the case, it's once again satisfying to see the doves being released. 🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊 (24 doves, one for each entry in the FlawlessNES playlist) Back to Punch Out!! next? Pink Suit song returning. Let's go!

Awesome!! #flawless This was cool...so many strats in play. I enjoyed this one ...almost... as much as I enjoyed the ninja gaiden flawless. None the less...this was a workbof art slack!
I kind of feel like your billy start plus clean play to crack avoided the low spike. It only happened when extra pauses or minor changes to the route happened pre-fight. Of course that is just a guess.

Me every time you skip an energy tank: "what the eff man, what are you do-...oh yeah, hes not planning on getting hit!!"
You're a legend!
Thanks! This was such a fun game to learn.
Lifeforce is a great NES game. You'd like it. Good job on the run!
I will have to try it out. Thank you.
The Mother Brain hallway setup is epic, like a glorious spoon victory!
Correct answer. All hail the order of the spoon!

🪣, 🥄, I'm entertained by both on those Take It Outside segments.

Fun fact, that was the longest Slack has been quiet in the past 5 years.
yup shattered the old record
Yeah yeah the no damage run is cool and all but that Sharon n Destroyer interaction is what I live for. GGs dude
Thanks bud! I'm just happy Troy didn't knock my PC of the desk!

Thank you for watching!
Warlord disagrees, but the SAHoD strategy is the best strategy ever. Great run. Glad I got to see it live

Hell yeah
Sweet!
Wait…Samus is a grill?
Absolutely, but gas, not charcoal. :)
Yup😆

Great run. Kraid fight is better because it is cleaner and it is a 5 beer strat unlike the fiddy but also very good mother brain hallway.
Kraid probably is a 5 beer strat. I guess I just don’t like how we never worked out the low spike. You know how much I hate RNG.

I'm mad I didn't witness this lol, ofc I came in like 20 minutes late (I'm bentleben)
There’s always the next one! Thanks for being part of the fun!
is always the same boring stream with this guy, nothing new, years and years doing exactly the same thing.... couldn't be more lame
Then don’t watch it I guess?
And yet you still watched it
