“why don’t we talk about jordan *before* he started winning?”
in the years before he started winning chips, he averaged 33/6/6/3/1 on 52% shooting in the regular season and 36/7/7/2.5/1 on 50% shooting in the playoffs.
in the years after, he was 38-40 -with three years off from professional sports - and averaged 21/6/4/1.5 on shitty wizards teams. but even then, only 11 guys in the nba last year averaged those numbers.
even if we take away the jordan ring years, he’s still statically dominant.

So prior to MJ getting injured the wizards were a .500 team then they went 7-15 without him. And those 7 he came off the bench they went 3-4. So no with a healthy mj they were a +10 more win team through the first 55 games then the total prior season. With lebron playing the lakers were only 25-31. They played similar number of games and MJ had more wins with a worse team. @@Tonio5100 funny because LeBron has two less years and is still about to beat Kareem’s scoring record, LeBron has more finals MVPS and Kareem played in the weakest era (70s) and he only got one title there. By the way Kareem is a center of course he has more blocks and rebounds. Also, LeBron’s playoff numbers are even more impressive than Kareem. Kareem got carried for his last two titles because his playoff numbers were pedestrian at best. When the Big O went down Kareem struggled to get past the first round meanwhile LeBron got the Cavs all the way to the finals in 2007. Also, LeBron has won in the west and the east, which knocks out the weak east argument for LeBron. Also, of course you left out the fact that despite Kareem has two years on LeBron they tie in All-star games. Also, LeBron has more All-NBA teams in general but you left that out. People do talk about Jordan's first 6 seasons where he lost and failed to win a chip.... he had zero help... took him the same six years it took LeBron to win his first chip, difference was Jordan was the most dominant player in the league from his first season. Bird called him God in gym shorts when he dropped 60 on bird in the garden as a rookie. The league has never seen anything close to Jordan both before and since. Jordan was a beast his first 6 years. And as soon as he got a decent allstar in Pippin he won 6 chips. Look at Jordan's team. Zero help outside pippin. And in comparison look how many all stars and top 5 top 10 players Bron has stacked his team with and still lost more than he's won.

@Yo Momma you know nothing bud. Weak lol. Compared to today's league where all they do is jack up 3 pointers and play zero defense and flop and zero physical play. Ya you should stop talking. The ratings and viewership say it all. Jordan's first round game one play off series had more viewership that any of Lebrons Finals wins or losses. Nobody watches the NBA anymore because it is soft and unwatchable, all they watch are highlights.

@Yo Momma nobody is out to change your opinion. You clearly just don't know basketball. And yes Jordan couldn't do it by himself, getting closelined and knocked to the floor with hard found and physical play which none of Lebrons Era had to endure. And yes the GOAT needed a little bit of help. Name me a player who didn't need some help. Because LeBron has had the most help out of any of the top 20 NBA players and he's lost more than any of them. LeBron doesn't even play on a team of he isn't paired with top 10 players. At no point was pippin ever a top 10 player. Pippin was a regular all star level player who played good defense. Name the rest of Jordan's team, all scrubs and role players. And jordan got it done while facing Double teams and triple teams every single night. Players like LeBron don't even face double teams because they stack their team with 3 other top ten players and 7 other all stars so you can't even send a double or guys have wide open high percentage shots. You just don't know basketball so keep your opinion and have a good day

It's Jordan 1st, Kobe 2nd, Magic 3rd, Kareem 4th, Wilt 5th, Duncan 6th, LeBron 7th.... and he's lucky to even be there.... all the times he's lost and choked in the finals stains his legacy... crying and stacking all his teams and then still failing to make the playoffs last year. Losing to the Mavs in just the worst meltdown of any superstar. Getting outplayed by a role player in Jason Terry. Scoring 8 points in a finals game and then running off the court to cry.... you can keep your love for the guy who has had the most help and still lost the most out of any of the greats. All while playing in an Era of zero defense and never getting double teamed and still he can't padd his stats to compare to what Jordan did in 13 healthy seasons. Jordan's entire career has been dissected from losses to triumphs.....it's all out there! I don't get why mfs act like the media hides MJ's struggles when he himself never did at any point lol it's been countless documentaries on the Bulls and MJ since the early 90's chronicling his and his team rise from the bottom of the eastern conference to what they became. The difference between MJ and everyone else is the fact that once he and the bulls started winning they did it in a fashion that we haven't seen till this day they 3 repeated twice all the while him statistically individually continue to do amazing things on the court. What some of these young generation don't understand is that Kareem along with a lot of the media was hating on MJ saying he may lead the league in scoring and do all this statistical dominating but he can't win a championship being the leading scorer in the league and all and he proved them wrong six times over and then spectacular fashion. No other player was as dominant as MJ that's facts his whole career is out there for people who want to try to dissect it and say he wasn't that great is out there the numbers don't lie and it's Play always matched his numbers

@@Eztyc I can understand putting Lebron ahead of Kareem, but I think they are very close. (With Michael being ahead of both of them). Kareem was also great for a long time, but he did have Magic to help for that latter part of his career.
Kobe was a great player but sometimes I think he was a little too alpha. I appreciate his willingness to take the last shot, but he wasn't very efficient.
I actually have Duncan ahead of Kobe, simply because he was so good for so long. Seeing Popovich before and after Duncan, one could argue that Duncan was more important to Greg's success than most people realized. If there is a knock on Duncan, it's his lack of back-to-back championships. The one thing that Kobe has on him.

Nick isn't even comparing the same stats against each other. "Jordan averaged 20 points during the season at 40. Kareem averaged 22 points in a playoff series Kareem is better!!"
