So im setting up a raptor 90 (actually my first FLYBARRED heli) when I turn on the heli the rudder (tail) goes all the way to one side.. (gp 780) but if I remove the gyro and put the rudder direct to rudder channel its close to center.. moving the tail (the whole heli) does NOTHING it stays jammed to one side... any suggestions??
Yes its sounds like you need to program the gyro to respond with the rudder properly. Try to re watch this video and follow along and do the setup. It is an older model so in best case I would say to upgrade for sure.
I need help my align 450 3GX with Castle Talón 35 does not start the motor after following all setup for the 3GX and my Spektrum 8 just beeps when I star the throttle, can you help?
Have you completed the throttle calibration and made sure all your connections are correct. Usually if it is just beeping that means it is not arming or is not seeing zero throttle to arm.
hey buddy, i am sorry if i missed getting back to u i try hard to keep up with answering questions. take the duel rate back to 100 and your expo to 0 for rudder. if your tail is to fast for your its as simple as going in to the gyros limit setting menu and just adjust the amount of throw u want to have. u can also adjust the ball position on the rudder servo horn for less and slower throw

The tail is the easy part, I've done like you mentioned and changed the DR and expo but I thought it might have been easier to do in the 3GX program. I've seen in the V1.2 program that you can change it but I can't see it in the V3.0 update. Is it still possible or can you tell me some more mild settings I can use? Thanks again for the reply.

It's currently set up to be really touchy and fast reaction. I set the D/R and Expo set at 80 and 25% but it's still real touchy. Hope you can help. Thanks.
Hello Freddy, nice job on videos, I have a dx7s with two satellites and a 3gx and on radio setup I select Gyro as Aux2. On system functions when I select the switch as Aux2, when ever I go back to system setup on the switch selctor the gyro switch has gone back to inh. The only way it stays in Aux2 is if I select Gear on function. Is this normal?
Hi Freddy, I've just upgraded one of my FB'ed 500's and the settings are very agressive. Sort of like the software is set for 3D rather than beginner/Intermediate. I've seen somewhere that you can go in and change this via the computer program but I can see where or how to d it. Can you please explain how to do this or make a short video for those of us that don't want it set aggressive please? Any help is greatly appreciated.
I found out a little bit, when I installed the program on my laptop it's version 3.0 and the program I saw was version 1.2 which was released ages back. In that one you could tell the 3gx that you wanted beginner, normal or expert settings or even custom ones. How can I do that with the 3.0 program? All I can see is a bunch of numbers that you would have to change. Thanks.
And why would I have to keep binding my radio? Just about every time I turn the radio on and connect the battery I get one of the satellites flashing. I've tried 2 different satellites but it keeps happening. I'm running a DX8 and 2 DSMX sats. Thanks.
I agree with Nicolai barns- Its still a good video I mean no disrespect at all JUST way to much lip smackin for me sorry it also reminds word for word from (Bob) Finless long time ago had I not learned from him AND I could tolerate the smacking noise it would be a good video
