I'm happy tonight.
Really happy because Miss Mia has arisen from her sick bed and she is now spending her first night outside in the small aviary with Master Triffid for company.
Now eating independently and packing on over 50 grams in a couple of days, she is ready to enjoy life again.
With the risk of re feeding syndrome behind her, the future looks bright as I embark on another adventure with Miss Pia who came in yesterday at 182 grams and 162 grams underweight.

Precious little Miss Mia is looking SO much better!😍 Even her little face was visibly too thin when she arrived in care. But seeing her now, rocking around the aviary and helping herself to all the grapes she can stuff in her little cheeks, it's hard to believe she's the same bat!🥰 Fingers crossed 🤞 for baby Pia to make a similar recovery!
