    Thank you!!! Hopefully all goes well and I make it to the presentation.

    Thanks for your channel. I have been thinking about getting in ortho rep 4 a while. I have always been amazed on how good quality reps are. I was in the OR as an ATC with ortho. Now I am in education, but want to move back 2 ortho.

    Hi Pierre, love your content! Thank you for helping me along the interview process with Stryker. I am at this stage now. I have to present the product and procedure next week Tuesday. I am definitely nervous considering the whole pdf is about 70 pages long, but super excited as I’m learning. Do you remember how long your presentation was? Thank you so much! I hope your job hunt is going well 🙏🏼

    • @PierrePacini

      Congrats on getting to this level. This is huge. I believe mine took between 10-15min and that included questions from the HM. Don’t get into the weeds of PDF. Understand the main point of product & procedure. Main sizes, what goes with what etc. Not a 10k foot view, more like a 1K foot view, but you don’t need to be ready to be at the back table. If you can have a current rep walk you through it that would be $$

      @@PierrePacini thanks for the advice. I will refresh myself on the a&p. Former surg. tech from the navy, not a lot of sales exp. So I will definitely be leaning into that knowledge

    • @PierrePacini
      @PierrePacini  27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @Paul-up7if that’ll be huge for helping set up back tables with your product. You’ll be able to let them know for example, pick up the torq driver sitting next to the army navy. A lot of our work is orchestrating back table and being a couple of steps ahead of the surgeon.

      @@PierrePacini amazing insight. I always liked the anticipation aspect of surgery, and being ready as soon as the doc's hand opens for the next instrument. I will be buying your Gallup ebook too.

    Hi Pierre! I made it to the presentation round. Woo! I am hung up on the portion where it says to include "About you and why you." I know it's probably straightforward, but any deeper insight as to what should be highlighted there?

    • @PierrePacini
      @PierrePacini  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Don’t over complicate it. This is just a slide for them to see more than just the resume portion of your. This is specifically built in to let your personality shine through. You are working with a team, not on your own so they want to make sure you’re a good cultural team fit. An example of mine is God, Family, Travel, Formula 1 & Food. I provide photos and tell them why those made the list. Just be you.

    Hey thanks for the videos man, they’re helpful. Do you know much about their surgical technologies division? I’m interviewing with them.

    • @PierrePacini
      @PierrePacini  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So I never worked directly with them, but the reps I’ve spoken to all love the role. From my understanding it offers a competitive salary (which most Stryker roles are 💯 commissions) and great products to sell into the HCO’s. Very competitive and reps usually stay for a while.

      I have to do a second presentation. Just completed my initial presentation this week. With the second presentation-I need to sell something that I use every day. I was wondering if you had any suggestions on what I should choose.

    • @PierrePacini
      @PierrePacini  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @dianasimovic-smith3996 that’s the dumbest thing I’ve heard. They are going overboard with their interview process.
      If I had to pick something I’d pick my sonic care toothbrush. Tons of features and benefits to talk about. There are a lot of “me too” products out there to compete against and it isn’t cheap.

    I am interviewing for a clinical role in spine with a navigation presentation, would your advice be the same

    • @PierrePacini
      @PierrePacini  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Apologies for the delay. My advice is the same though that I tell everyone, make sure to connect and network with people in the role you are trying to get in different cities/states/regions. They will be the most crucial resource when interviewing since they know the company and the role. A lot of times they can tell you about the manager as well.

    How do you find who the reps are in your area?

    • @PierrePacini
      @PierrePacini  ปีที่แล้ว

      I look on LinkedIn, but if they aren’t on there I’ll check for a different division and ask if they can introduce me to the rep. You can also go to a surgery center and ask if they know the rep. If they do that’s a good sign, if they don’t it’s an opportunity. Hope that helps.
