  • Hey All! Well this one had some pretty good elements for a horror movie! That being said, this film is a real headscratcher. Will leave you thinking for sure!
This video is purely for commentary purposes, and is NOT a replacement for the original film. Please go watch the original film.

Rupert Grint! (Ron Weasley from Harry Potter) acted his keister off in this film! I seriously wish he was in this more!
I love that M. Night Shyamalan cameos in his films as well it makes me laugh a little whenever I spot him.
Also, I love Kiki's Delivery Service, it's a Studio Ghibli film =^_^= My favorite Studio Ghibli film is Spirited Away though lol
I actually knew Daddy Eric from Glee XD. But I agree, it felt like there was so much more to the story that could have been told. It felt like there was a lot said but also not enough. And it left me questioning a lot as well. I think them being homosexual was mostly a duality for the film it added to the doubt of if the series of events was done intentionally or if it was just a coincidence. Being homosexual puts a target on our backs sometimes, I'm bisexual personally, but I know others have it way worse than I have gone through. It felt like it was in there mostly for the O'Bannon storyline, to cast doubt on whether they were telling the truth or not.
I have not read the book so I cannot elaborate anymore, I wish I could. You basically got out of it what I did as well. Of course, it was a fantastic reaction as per usual, and I can't wait for the next one! =^_^=

I like your take on the movie, many interesting insights, made me think more 😊
Or i should say, made me think additional thoughts, the acting and cinematography was amazing. I felt same thing you said about being unsure or left empty, so I watched other people’s reactions and thoughts, and I think got a better understanding, but overall I loved the movie, because of the acting and cinematography, I love Wen, so cute and I am hoping to see her in more movies. Hey if you haven’t seen the movie “The Impossible”, I would enjoy seeing your reaction to it, such a well made, realistic movie, acting is incredible. It’s based on true story, about 2004 tsunami in Thailand. 👍😉

I never got the hate for same sex couples. Sure, as a straight man I don't understand loving another man, but my lack of understanding doesn't give me the right to hate people who do love the same sex partners. Our world is so full of hate, why hate people who just want to love? We truly need more love

Good acting, great ideas, brilliant directing but in the end it just felt like it missed something. Solid 7.5 out of 10

Ya, I pretty much feel the same as you. Perhaps with the world in a state of perpetual war, they felt it was time for a closer look at the bible, which of course will cause contention among many people. Like the bible, this movie leaves us with too many unanswered questions.

Hey thanks for the introspective comment! So me and my girlfriend were in a bookstore over the weekend, and I came across the Cabin at the End of the World book. I couldn't help myself, so I skimmed the ending, and man, it is drastically different than the movie. I don't know if you read the novel, so I won't say much details. All I will say is that the novel also leaves me with unanswered questions.

Ya, in most cases it's a shame how they feel the need to embellish or re-write from the book, but it's interesting how you felt comparing book to film. thanks

You should read the book. It’s a very different ending. (I liked the movie better, though.)

Hey thanks for the comment! So I've seen all three of those movies in theaters unfortunately. BUT, I had a friend who hadn't seen Thanksgiving yet and I was able to make him watch it, so the reaction will be up shortly!
