If it wasn't for talented Mr. Shyamalan writing such compelling story and the characters for the screen...these actors wouldn't have delivered. There are movies created with so so screenplay or directed poorly which made even the best of the best actors looks like a failure...so you got to give Mr. Shyamalan credit for having talent and vision. He is an artist who actually takes risks every time to give audience a unique and best experience.

It has 67% on RT. A lot of us do like it. Idk why some people don't, maybe not enough action or something...i think it's a great film. It would make a good theatre play too.

Husband put this on this morning just because. 20 minutes later when I had to leave the house I told him I was watching the rest when I got back. Once home and watching the movie again he took our dogs outside. When he came back in to get the second dog and realized I hadn't paused it for him, I was told sternly I better rewind those 30 seconds for him. Lol. I started this movie, and somehow accidentally put on the CC Audio. didn't even know what that was. A women's voice that sounds like Sigourney Weaver narrates every not audio or talk part of the movie. I don't think I can ever rewatch it a diff way. No twist at the end unless you realize the CC was on and the chicks voice from Thelma and Louise never was there at all...

I turned it off after while simply because i am not interested in gay interest movies. It was not clearly stated in reviews or on the cover that it is a gay interest movie. I feel like having been conned here and want my money back. Also i was forced to watch a movie i did not want to watch and because of it i am emotionaly damaged and my evening was ruined. What you did here that is crossing the line Shyamalan. In the end making money is more important to you than peoples wellbeing since if people knew it was a gay interest movie it would lose 90% of its audience. Shyamalan is a hypocrite.

It wasn’t mentioned on the cover or anything because it’s not an important factor in the movie. If it was a man/woman couple, it would’ve been the exact same plot and nothing would’ve changed. The only reason you’re nitpicking it like this is because you’re internally homophobic.
