If i remember correctly that is a Japanese Garand. During the war the Japanese would have captured these weapon and bring them back to their homeland to manufacture these garands to feed their own ammunition.

They just look so extremely lightweight, both in weight and the resistance of the weapons springs. As WW2 weapons were far heavier than modern firearms in comparison. Like you really can't mag flip an SVT-40 like that. And lightweightness of the animations is compounded so much by that the weapon reloads sound like someone's playing around with a pair of nail-clippers.

Well actually, it's an open bolt and that means you need to hold down the trigger to fire the whole mag. The bolt will slam forward because there is no round to fire to push the bolt back.
Honestly the actual animations themselves aren't thsg bad it's just the absolutely HORRIBLE audio where it just sounds like vaguely metal things rubbing together. Which honestly the entire game was guilty of bad audio design

I always imagine the guy's commanding officer or someone bringing a message from him telling the reloading to get it done in half the time of the video length and the reloader just telling them to shut up and deal with it. Having it become a big then and the officer really not able to do anything because none of the guns are loaded yet

That Blunderbuss reload gets me the most for some reason. It's not because it's a flintlock in WW2, nor because it's done at superhuman speed with a big waste of black powder for overdramatic effect. It's mostly because that rod is not hitting fuck all. It is not going anywhere near deep enough to actually press down the contents of that barrel to make sure you get a proper shot.
I had noticed that a lot of the sniper rifle iron sights arent correct unless i am mistaken. I would love to use the kar98k or the 1903 Springfield with iron sights but they are nearly impossible to use. Out all of the bolt action rifles that are unlocked by level up or prestige up only the lee enfield mark 4’s iron sight are useable

I loved this game. Master Prestige lvl 1000, Chrome and Chrome Tiger. got all the DLC weapons. but god DAMN the sound design. sounds like empty cans.

m9k reloads got better reactions in the info section somehow.
i understand that these kinda suck, but they are better than gmod m9k animations, which are way jankier and less satisfying

That Blunderbuss reload gets me the most for some reason. It's not because it's a flintlock in WW2, nor because it's done at superhuman speed with a big waste of black powder for overdramatic effect. It's mostly because that rod is not hitting fuck all. It is not going anywhere near deep enough to actually press down the contents of that barrel to make sure you get a proper shot.

I had noticed that a lot of the sniper rifle iron sights arent correct unless i am mistaken. I would love to use the kar98k or the 1903 Springfield with iron sights but they are nearly impossible to use. Out all of the bolt action rifles that are unlocked by level up or prestige up only the lee enfield mark 4’s iron sight are useable
Something I admire about Cod is the hands, they are some of the best hands I’ve seen in a video game especially in vanguard.

I didn’t like how a lot of reload sounds were recycled from other guns. I think every gun should’ve had its own unique reload sound.
