You know, Hyrule warriors really should of had a wind element. There are quite a few characters who could have used it.
Lightning is essentially air. Lightning juggles enemies in the air, which is why I suspect Medli wasn't given it because as a flying fighter, many of her attacks juggle already. Most but not all weapons with Lightning as base element are sleek, fast, or both: Harp, Trident, Picture Frame, Spinner. Zelda's baton literally controls wind and one of them is the Wind Waker itself.
Like Medli. Sage of the Earth. As opposed to Makar, the sage of the wind.
Those really should've been switched.
@@kendrajade6688 The Rito are heavily associated with Fire and the goddess Din, and the dungeon of which resides on their island is Dragon Roost Cavern, which is heavily associated with fire and earth. It is reasonable that Medli was deemed the Sage of Earth. Similarly, Makar is associated with wind through the Deku Leaf and possessing Farore's Pearl (Farore being represented in wind such as in Farore's Wind).
Their respective positions as sages may seem strange initially, but there are reasons behind it other than one is a bird and the other a plant.
That’s just lightning
I know technically Medli's moveset isn't the most powerful, but while me and my sister were still figuring out the game she was our first character to get a 420 attack weapon, so she was a powerhouse we could default to for the harder missions the entire time. As such, she's tied with Sheik and Cia with the highest level and is the light character we go to most often when we need to beat Ganondorf or the Imprisoned, even now that Link also has a 420 weapon.
I took ages to figure out how she works, I didn't know how to fill her gauge, how to spend it, until one day I was getting the Earth God's Harp (level 2) and I read the description and it just clicked. I did a fight to test her, and it worked, I knew how to play her. The next fight I did (first time I started knowing how she works) I got the Magical Warrior medal (500 kills in the same Focus Spirit) and I now know somewhat how to play her.
Only proper I comment here, as your first All About of the series that helped me with the Nintendo Warriors games. I'm excited to see you have this new channel! And that it's a channel dedicated to one of my favorite series! You even have Legends of Troy, which I do own!
Using some extra use of her flight bar, you can use one extended combo to destroy weak points on giant bosses. This combo is why I think she excels against them. I also never seem to have a problem clearing keeps myself, so I like using her a lot. And therefore limit my use, since I have to level others.
Great to see all these semi-redone episodes!

I think Medli is an ok character, and I still feel that she is the best at juggling enemies. No other character can keep an enemy in the air as long as she can, and that is an impressive feat. Only downside is that character captains like Link, Ganondorf, Ruto, etc. can’t be juggled for long, as they will automatically jump out of the combos and fall back to the ground. I also find Medli to be mid tier, but not anywhere lower than it. While not being amazing at anything, she isn’t bad at anything either. She’s certainly better than Toon Link’s Light Sword due to that simple fact alone.
Lemme help you out with the normal attack string and why Medli is S Tier for 1vs1.
Step 1: Target the enemy
Step 2: Use only the first two attacks of the normal attack string
Step 3: Dodge and circle the target
Step 4: Repeat step 2 until target is down
Step 5: Laugh hysterically at how simple this is (and he who laughs last, laughs best)
Toss in Regular Attack+ for even more fun. Once I figured this out with Medli she quickly rose to being one of my top characters. The best part is how stupid most named character AI reacts to this. Usually they'll turn and try to look at you, sometimes they'll attack but with this tactic you can cheese the hell out of most named character enemies.
With Digging Mitts III that doesn't matter.

Today I was playing as medli on one of those , Defeat all enemies , stages, I was using her air combos in a corner of a doorway on a tingle, spamming it until he died, but a skull kid jumped in and also got spammed (While I was still spamming tingle) somehow , the skull kid clipped through the door way and now I'm softlocked, btw this was on Warriors Legends 😂

So THATS why you saved her for last. She’s always been an odd character, and I had no clue how to use her until watching this. She’s pretty fun, but not one of my mains.
Medli is great. She can kill almost anyone in a duel really fast.
i literally just spam the best combos of each character. so basicly i juggle with her when it is useful and otherwise i use her final combo

I've been trying her out lately in order to unlock the Legendary bonus on one of her weapons and even though she's not terrible, she does feel like a discount Imp Midna with the twist of aerial attacks instead of an element boost, considering most of her strings and combos to be a lesser version of what Midna can do. I will give her credit for the ability to drain the bosses' weak point gauge when her aerial bonus is active. She's been fun so far, in virtue of having a familiar moveset to one of my mains.
Medli is an okay character, but really should have been a lightning character instead of a light character with that gimmick. By far the best juggler in the game.

Not really. She was the first character other than Link to be playable in a LoZ game.

Tingle isn’t the worst to me. If we’re not counting the Spear or the Magic Rod by themselves, Ruto is the worst.
Wrong. Wizzro is. Factually. He is LITERALLY the worst character because he is literally BROKEN.
