Never in a million years would I have thought of mixing those two styles of paving together it looks amazing joe. I cannot wait to see how the other areas of the garden develop and the ideas you can share with us all, I’ve never been interested in the hard landscaping side of things but this has inspired me to maybe try a few bits in my garden. Thank you! 🙏
I much prefer this 'Gonzo Journalism' style rather than the slicker TV productions - and your 'Garden Lovers' greeting reminds me of the great Kent Walton introducing Saturday afternoon wrestling to 'Grapple Fans'. Keep up the great work!
Wanted to say the design and build of the Pathway is absolutely amazing, unique and stunning..Mixing pavers and stone is brilliant..The planting is going to be awesome..Your designing is great the pavers look perfect and uniform and the Flagstones seem to keep going it's a flowing edge.. Good luck with project have fun thanks for video...
You certainly jinxed the pause. I had to switch you off & then the tv off. I saw this morning that @christchurchgardener John James recommends mowing annually if you want Bee orchid, Ofrys apifera to appear. It’s flowering currently in Christchurch meadow. Your wildflowers hold great promise! Just lovely.
3.25 I am so glad you haven't destroyed the orchids. We have a lot of different ones in Greece. Barlia Robertiana, a big one with big leaves is the first one to come out in January. Once, in Corfu, I drove up the mountain with an English lady in my car and we went off the road, parked and got out. Then we studied the ground and found the monkey orchid, orchis simia. I have never seen this orchid and will most likely never be able to find it. The path I drove in, has a bit thick vegetation and anyway looks a lot different.
You know what would go really well at the edge of the fabulous path is Lithadora. I've grown it for years and I would not be without it. Bright blue spring flower starts the year off well.
I didn't like the look of it initially when they started the path BUT it does look really good , I really like the soft grey .. shows why you are the designer 😊
Awesome the hard landscaping, my eyes usually glaze over, adore the planting side of things, but you are making the whole process so relatable to us less knowledgeable Joe, loving your channel, thank you 🙏 👍☺️
Wow! The path is looking amazing! I bet you were glad to get home and take everything in after a busy week? That honey garlic is such a bee magnet 🐝 Thanks for the update Joe, as always. 🌱💚🥀
The crazy paver mixed with the brick isn’t my cup of tea. However, it’s your garden and if you love it, then that’s all that matters. Nothing worse than installing something like that and then regretting it. Watching from Florida with a brick paver driveway! Get some kip.
What a difference the weather makes, but you know that, that path is looking grand, will look amazing when finished and self sown seed growing in the cracks and the stone weathered will be the icing on the cake, cake cake thought we was talking paths. Top job Fellas. All the best.
Welcome back. What a perfect way to unwind, walking in your garden. It's beautiful. Being away for a week leaves you to come back with a fresh eye. The crazy paving draws the eye but also slows the eye down and takes notice of the path and around. Can't wait to see what's to come. Thank you for bringing us along.
Loving the path Joe, really inspirational, the boys have done a good job and the woodland area is looking lush too. What a great place to spend some decompression time!
With spring in full swing it must be nice to see what plants are in the garden. Some surprises obviously. Love the path. Good place for a chaise longue 😊
Sorry, the bricks amongst the pavers in the path isn't for me, but I'm beaming to see you made up! This is your free time to give your dreams to the skies and fly laughing! Time to put a few hammocks up.. Looking forward to what's next to come. 🌿🌾👒🐦
Taking a nap on the path - as one does. The cut lines really did the trick, they make it look very put together yet slightly wild. What are you planning on planting other than the coreopsis?
When you first described your paving plan, I was unsure but what you (and the boys) have created is fantastic! You certainly know what you're doing fella, don't you!
Love the nerdy path part. Super excited to see what you do with the lawn areas because I've a similar project at my daughter's house. Unlike many folks here in the states I find the large lawn areas boring, but I'll need to make planting areas easy to manage.
Would have been useful to see them lay that path, see how they prep and organise and set on and do the path build for all us budding garden do-it-yourself garden-enthusiasts.
I do like the mix of materials in gardens. I need to watch this again to let the crazy paving sink in. One thing for sure is when planted up the different platforms with unite .Yet remain disconnected by form. Are lights going in ?
Lovely to see the orchids popping up, will be interesting to see what else comes through as the year progresses. What are you using the croquet hoops that are dotted about for? Are you keeping enough lawn to play on?
Ramble on Joe, it's great. That path is a work of art. So clever.
Chào bạn ❤🤝.
Joe, that path will be stunning. Really clever and it will look as if it's been there for years and years.

The colour of the paving is beautiful, it's going to look so pretty once it's planted up.
Stunning. It never would have occurred to me to try something like this... really beautiful!

Your guys did a beautiful job on that path! Love it! ❤️😊
Perfect for this type of house and garden. Once it’s planted up and matured all those who have criticised will eat their words👍
A jednak wyszlo ładnie. Nie moglam sobie wyobrazic jak polaczysz te dwa rodzaje materialu. Pozdrawiam Beata
Love the path Joe. The whole garden seems to be taking shape. What a difference a lovely day makes! 😊

Khu vườn rất rộng lớn và nhiều cây bóng mát ,cảm ơn bạn đã chia sẻ tới mọi người 🤝.
Nice pathway and like the random stones. Love the woodland with all the lovely wildflowers.
Lovely birdsong in the background.
I love it ,so very clever and when you have planted it's edges and the plants are spilling over as I imagine it will be it will be devine, it's a gold

No Mow summer then?! Nice one Joe. Great video too. Helpful useful. Gets people involved too.
Oh your path is so beautiful. And the woodland area - just gorgeous.
The path is genius 🤩🤩🤩
You need good guys like Craig and Justin for the path to work….and it does. Great job ❤
I have learnt so much already from your videos. Please keep them coming!
Taking a nap on the path - as one does. The cut lines really did the trick, they make it look very put together yet slightly wild. What are you planning on planting other than the coreopsis?
Loads! In autumn.
@@JoesCountryGarden ”Loads” is certainly an exciting sort, probably the best…🤔😊
When you first described your paving plan, I was unsure but what you (and the boys) have created is fantastic! You certainly know what you're doing fella, don't you!
Thank yiu
Good night Joe… love the paving

Ramble on Jo 😀. It's all starting to come together.
I loved the you tube videos from the show. Monty is great It must be fun to be friends with him!
Path is stunning.Love your videos
Such a beautiful path! Great idea and masterfully executed!
I did not like it when you first started, but I think it's beautiful now. I can't wait to see the end result.❤
Would have been useful to see them lay that path, see how they prep and organise and set on and do the path build for all us budding garden do-it-yourself garden-enthusiasts.
Go back a vid or two and there’s some info in there…
Cheers Dude ! just watched now
(basically get some very good patient builders to do it!)
Love a good ramble! Will get brekkie & the recommended cuppa & revisit. Back in a bit!
Coming along beautifully.
Love the nerdy path stuff Joe

Impressive. An eye for detail and a great imagination.

Losing the croquet lawn!
@@JoesCountryGarden awh, that's a shame, love a game. Mind you, you could still possibly play it along the mown bits with a non traditional layout.
Are you planning a wildflower croquet lawn?😀
Quite a lot of mic buzzing and distortion in this video.👍 Great content though.
Great job
