Pete has a very natural feel to it. I love the patio overlooking the pond. Wrought iron gate is beautiful. Wishing Pete a lovey 2024 season in his garden. Next time save the stinging Nettle. It’s a great tea ☕️ for reducing inflammation. Seems to be had to find in my wild area behind my yard now.
So I've been told about Nettles. You sound quite knowledgeable in herbs. Also, Cleavers seem to have quite a few health benefits. Beyond the exercise of removing it from clients' gardens that is 😂 I shall pass along your regards to Pete 😊 he'll enjoy that. Thanks again Martin
I love gardens natural and with some kind of chaos … the pond, medow-like areas, the “pact” with wildlife… And you respected all this!! Great!!! 🎉🎉 A pity it was so short a video… 😊😊😊
Haha, I wish it have been a longer video as well. I'd have been able to spend some more time here 😊 Although, fortunately. Pete has said I can go any time I like. What a gentleman. Thank you Martin.
Some people prefer formal, uniform gardens - others prefer nature to be natural. I like both styles 'cuz each represents an aspect of the personality of garden's keeper(s). Pete's garden is imaginative & magical - I'm so impressed with the metal work he's done and with his nature pond. And I'm always impressed with your work Martin!
Thanks ☺️ excellent comment, and can't argue with what you say. It's very true. I'm also a fan of many different garden designs, all have their own beauty. I also have my favorites as well though 😊😁 which I'm sure you've guessed. Thanks again Martin.
Oh, cool, I'm glad you spotted them 😁 they certainly add some layers to the garden. Feels like walking into separate rooms 😊😁 and I love how rickety they are! 😅 Thanks for the comment 👍 Martin
First love the entry gate. Wish I had it, and Pete had something nicer! Love that you just thin out some euphorbia, and leave the volunteer crocus and columbine. Thanks to you and Pete for sharing.
Haha, thank you 😊 this was one of the most relaxing gardens I get to work in. I'm extremely lucky. I'm glad you can see it to 😁 It's very good for ones blood pressure. Thanks again Martin.
What a beautiful, intimate garden. I love entrance gateway, the gravel paths, and the pond. My favorite feature is the moss growing on the the low walls and stones. I was so relieved that you didn’t spray wash it away. You did a wonderful job and I could see that you enjoyed your time working and just being there.
Excellent 👍 😊 you must have very similar tastes to me 😁 I loved the moss on the walls and stones as well. Plus, the creaky gate 😂 I wouldn't dream of pressure washing anything in this garden. To be fair, I only ever use it for safety reasons anyway. To stop people slipping over. Thanks for the comment. Martin.
What a lovely compact, eclectic, creative garden! Love it! And it was so fun watching all the long grass get mowed down and weeding to reveal the beauty and hidden treasures of this sweet garden! ❤🦋🌸🌼
Oh, thanks 😊 this is how I feel about it to, I love the word eclectic as well, its so fitting for this garden 😁I'm glad you could see the beauty as well. Thanks for the comment Much appreciated Martin.
I love the natural garden looks. But I also enjoy the edges of a cleaned pathway and a trimmed hedge. I really enjoy the discussion of the flowers and plants and why you make certain choices. Thank you for sharing this beauty with the world. 😊
I love the wrought iron gate, the pond and the flagstone gazebo - great garden! Thanks for showing it to us, can't wait for it to become more 'springy'!
Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's was a wonderful feature filled garden. The seasonal changes are quite dramatic here. It's excellent to see it all happening. Thanks again Martin
Oh, yes. I totally agree 🥰 it's one of my "happy place" gardens 😅 It changes so much throughout the seasons, it's amazing. Thank you for the lovely comment. Martin.
I love the secret garden gate and the magic behind it. It’s a garden where nature thrives! Love how you respect it and show us the plants. How I miss the daffodils waving in the wind heralding spring! The nettles made me wince as I unfortunately had a not so lovely experience in 1971 when I was temporarily living in England with my grandparents - horrid plant! Best to Pete, you and your family. 😊
Haha, yes, indeed. I remember a few not very nice occasions when i was young of getting stung to bits. Although I did pretty much wear shorts all the time as a boy 😂 so that didn't help. I shall try to add more daffodils in the next video, so you can enjoy them vicariously 😁 Thanks again, Trish
Oh yes, I've heard. Allegedly, it's more nutritious than spinach. I did try nettle syrup while I was on a foraging course many years ago. Quite delicious 😋 I've not got around to soup just yet, but perhaps I'll give it a go. I hope you're right 😂
Oh yes, that's one of my favorite bits to. I didn't get a chance to go in it this year, but last time I managed to sit and have a relax after I finished in the garden. It's particularly lovely when it's raining 😊 the hit is covered by so much ivy, it's almost a mangrove. It's totally beautiful. Thanks for watching. Martin
Pete keeps a lovely garden! I appreciate it’s biodiversity and the moss left on the rocks. Not only does it give the garden a more established feel, it also helps retain moisture in the dry months. I stopped removing moss once I learned that it sequesters 3x the amount of CO2 as an equal area of lawn. The hate is lovely, and there is always something special about a water feature! About crocus it already bloomed. Goo on you for not pulling it, bilbs like to keep their leaves for long enough to build strength for next year. The leaves will die back as soon as ir gets warm enough for short sleeves! Thank you for your light touch at this special place.
Haha, that's OK. My brain auto corrected that any way 😂 Yeah, you're right about the moss. Really beautiful 😊 I only remove it when I have to. Although I try to convince people not to. Mainy my paid jobs, unfortunately. I have more leeway when I'm doing free work 😁😂 Thanks for the super lovely comment. P.s I'm glad you don't love the hate! 😂 Martin

Awesome, I thought you'd appreciate the beauty of this kind of garden 😁 I know it's not for everyone, but it's heartening to know there are gardens like this out there 🥰 Thanks again, Pauline
A real garden at last! Sick of the sterile lawn and lollipop bushes that are shown on these sorts of videos. Thank you for posting. Wish I could find a real gardener to help me out.
Oh, thank you. Well, if you're anywhere near Nottinghamshire, I'd be happy to help 😅 I'm glad you like these styles of gardens, I'm quite lucky, really. I get to work in these all the time. Rusty gates, mossy walls, wild flowers with bugs and birds 😊 I love it. Thanks again Martin.
Oh man do I LOVE Pete's gardens!! I did chuckle at The well placed slow motion shots, just as dramatic as any action movie!! 😍 I just LOVED that!! I really appreciated that you respected his wishes in his garden. Such attention to detail too, like taking up the crow's twigs. I cringed at the Cleavers/ Sticky Willie is a vicious weed here. What a bother they are and they stick to everything😢. My favorite thing about his garden would be the water feature. I only caught glimpses of out but an crossing my fingers you will show us some day. Other than that I LOVED the iron gate, paths, and arches. All his hardwood is wonderful. Aww hell, I love the whole place and he is a smiley guy too! Maybe he will say he'll to your viewers someday(maybe when we see the pond? Wink, hint hint) wonderful job. Blessings from Washington State💛🖤💛 Stacy's Artful Heart
Hey Martin! You inspired me to buy some new plants to include a Venus Fly Trap! They can even live in the winter in snow! Doing desert gardens are harder. But thanks for your inspiration!! 😊. You do an awesome job on the gardens. I’ll send you some pics of them later if that’s ok! Have a good evening!
Haha, awesome 😅 idle been meaning to get a Venus fly trap for so many years. We have to grow them indoors here, but they seem to do well from what I've read. What a fun little plant 😁 I can't wait to check out the pictures. Hope your having a great weekend All the best Martin.
Pete’s garden is a bit “busy” for me, but if it makes Pete happy that’s what matters. I do like the gate, the rooster vane, and love the water features, but his were pretty well “hidden” amongst everything. I just found your channel and I like what I saw in this one. You did a good job working around everything in the garden. You were very mindful of respecting Pete’s garden. Your hand weed pulling was neat. I liked how you showed the crows and butterfly and talked about them and their species. I also like how you identify the plants in the garden.
Are these elder people no longer able to mow their lawn? I love their gardens. Mine is a large yard with flower gardens in different areas. But nothing is fenced in like theirs. Looked much better! 😊
I think most probably still could, but I generally offer to do it as opposed to being asked 👍😁 I'm glad you like the garden 😊 ita was a very calm and wild place. Thanks for the comment Martin
this is my kind of garden! It's whimsical, mystical . i love the paths and nooks and crannies. I have a very tiny garden and it's got a lot of this feel. I got some more ideas also on how to create more magic and a kind of secret garden!
Whimsical and mystical 😊😁 that's a perfect description. I should have thought of that first! 😂 Tiny gardens are some of my favorites, I think it takes far more effort with planning something special then. I bet it's made you a great gardener 👍 Thanks for the comment, best of look in your garden. Martin.
@@martinthegardenguy being an artist and designer helps also. but yes i love the earth and getting my hands in the soil, fan of native wild flowers, love found objects to add to the garden!
Thanks for a great video! How interesting the plants you showed us. I felt the beauty of the place immediately! It is the secret garden feeling that one gets when one is alone with nature. Of course there are nettles! And bees sometimes and other insects and weeds and such but they add to the beauty of nature. Here in the States we used to give nettle plants to the chickens because they ate them. And that is part of the charm of a secret garden, one man's weed is another man's dinner! Ha! Ha! The feeling of the garden for me was that there was always something to gaze at and wonder how nature works as it evolves through the seasons. I suspect it is our own nature saluting Mother Nature and looking for ways to be nurtured by her. George from Florida, USA
Couldn't agree more, George. As usual, you've hit the nail on the head, so to speak 👍 It really is one of my happy gardens 😊 Everything works together, someone asked about mosquitoe problems with the pond. But there aren't any issues as the frogs and birds eat so many of them that they never become an issue. It's like nature has it figured out already. If we let it, that is 😊 Cheers George Take care Martin.
What about flowers like, Tiger Lilies, Geraniums, Tulips, Cannas ( have to cut down and bury roots in sand and leave in like a garage somewhere dark), Crocus are pretty! They usually flower in February or later by Chicago IL. I like the garden but I think it can use some brighter flowers. Love the daffodils!
I agree about the flowers 😊👍 it could certainly use more. I didn't even get chance to delve into the borders, but I noticed plenty of space. I'm growing some "snapdragons" and "snow in summer" to plant here when they are ready. I've got spare, so Pete can have them 😁 I like the idea of geraniums, he's got some in his other garden so I'll transplant a few over 👍 excellent suggestion. Thank you.
@@martinthegardenguy I moved Chicago to the desert of AZ. Mostly dust, ground that you jump on a spade shovel to dig and it goes no where! Cactuses, all kinds. Most of the desert dead in summer and greener in the winter!
Oh wow, I couldn't even imagine gardening in a desert 😂 I'd have to grow cactus. Do you still have gardeners in that sort of climate? It sounds like I'd have to be a winter gardener if I lived there 😁
@@martinthegardenguy some people have e hot houses. So it’s like a clear building with lighting. Grow vegetables. AZ is one of the states that supplies a majority of vegetables for our state and others. Mid Arizona down to the border is more humid, heavy rains that are like flash floods because the dirt is so hard it can’t just absorb it. The Northwest portion in Flagstaff has winter with a lot of snow, spring summer fall. They are also higher elevation. I’ll have to take some pics and send you. Where I live it’s just hot dry desert with hardly any rain. It’s a trip! Totally different than Chicago IL.
That stick Willy spoken off we name here in NEWZEALAND, Stinging nettles, while working it you don't notice but my golly later at shower time " it sure does itch, lather with soap.
Love your description of a wild, eclectic, beautiful garden. Clearly, this is a well-loved, long-established garden with tons of charm - utterly enchanting:)! I wish I could see it in person there is something so soul-satisfying about visiting a garden like this. I'm sure that Pete knows what a treasure he found in you, tell him this old gardener in Florida enjoyed the tour of his garden very much. (think you might want to come across the pond to help out in my little slice of paradise?:)
Oh, thank you 😊 🙏 Very kind. He's also an awesome man, he's got loads of skills, so he is going to teach me how to do metal welding 😁 he made all the metal work in his gardens. If I'm ever in Florida, you will be the first garden that I come to! 😂 it'd make a very crazy video, longest gardeners commute ever 😁
Love it! I was doing a similar customers garden like this today and it made me smile to see another nature loving garden. What’s the handy dandy fork like tool that you weeded the paths with called? And is the rake attachment a wolf garten? Fave part was his iron gate 🎉

The are some links in the description if you need help find them. You're right about the other one, Wolf Garten 😁 some of my favorite kit. And it saves space in the van 😂 Thanks again Martin
Beautiful garden! You did a great job tidying it up. I much prefer gardens like this over the pristine, organized ones. My favorite part: all the moss covered rocks and the little white duck you tried to run over with your mower. 😄 Not a fan of ivy though.
Haha 😂 well spotted. I almost killed Jemima Puddle Duck 😁 I'm so glad you enjoyed the garden, at least I know I'm not going mad. The moss covered rocks are a beautiful touch, you're right. I'm not surprised about your thoughts on Ivy, though. I seem like the only person who likes it 😂

Overall, nicely curated, natural-looking garden. I love the secret garden style entrance with the gate.
Oh yes, the lovely hand-made gates. They had a lovely, creaky nature to them. Like walking through the back of a wardrobe into a magical world 😂
Pete has a very natural feel to it.
Beyond the exercise of removing it from clients' gardens that is 😂
I shall pass along your regards to Pete 😊 he'll enjoy that.
Thanks again
Martin
the pond and the water plants is really beautiful!!! and the crows throwing pieces of woods so funy!!
Oh yes, this garden is awesome. I miss it already 👍😅 wild and wonderful. Tis my happy place 😊
The grass was definitely ready for a trim. My favorite part is the smell of fresh cut grass. ❤
I love gardens natural and with some kind of chaos … the pond, medow-like areas, the “pact” with wildlife… And you respected all this!! Great!!! 🎉🎉 A pity it was so short a video… 😊😊😊
Haha, I wish it have been a longer video as well. I'd have been able to spend some more time here 😊
Although, fortunately. Pete has said I can go any time I like. What a gentleman.
Thank you
Martin.
The explanations about the wildlife and plants made this video much more enjoyable. Thanks for sharing. 🦋🌱
Oh, I'm glad you enjoyed it. 😊
I'm also glad you don't mind me waffling on about plants 😅
Some people prefer formal, uniform gardens - others prefer nature to be natural. I like both styles 'cuz each represents an aspect of the personality of garden's keeper(s). Pete's garden is imaginative & magical - I'm so impressed with the metal work he's done and with his nature pond. And I'm always impressed with your work Martin!
Thanks ☺️ excellent comment, and can't argue with what you say. It's very true.
I'm also a fan of many different garden designs, all have their own beauty.
I also have my favorites as well though 😊😁 which I'm sure you've guessed.
Thanks again
Martin.
Very unusual and i l ike it. Like stepping into another world... almost expect to see darting fairies 🧚♀️🧚♂️🧚♀️🧚♂️🧚♀️
Nice job!
Haha, it was a but fairytale, wasn't it 😂
I should build him a fair garden just in case 😁
Such a pretty garden! I adore all the arches. 💚
Oh, cool, I'm glad you spotted them 😁 they certainly add some layers to the garden. Feels like walking into separate rooms 😊😁 and I love how rickety they are! 😅
Thanks for the comment 👍
Martin
He's lucky to have you!
Oh, that's kind of you to say. Although, I think I'm the lucky one for getting to work in gardens like this 😊
Thank you kindly for the comment 🙏
Absolutely beutiful pete .a piece of heaven .❤
Wasn't it just 😊 it's one of my "happy place" gardens. Wildlife everywhere 😍
Me to .i love wild gardens and bring surrounded by nature .we live not fsr from the new forest @martinthegardenguy
First love the entry gate. Wish I had it, and Pete had something nicer! Love that you just thin out some euphorbia, and leave the volunteer crocus and columbine. Thanks to you and Pete for sharing.
Haha, yeah. The creaky gate is awesome 😁 it's a bit Gothic and yet happy at the same time 😂
Thanks for the comment 👍
Enjoy seeing the touches of whimsey and pops of color sprinkled about.
I love this garden!
Me to 😊😁 I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Very nicely done. Sit and relax with a cup of coffee, smell of flowers, tranquil.
Haha, thank you 😊 this was one of the most relaxing gardens I get to work in.
I'm extremely lucky.
I'm glad you can see it to 😁
It's very good for ones blood pressure.
Thanks again
Martin.
Lovely modest transformation. It’s easy to see why he enjoys the garden. Visually very interesting.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the little tidy up. 😊
Very much appreciated
Martin.
Plus, the creaky gate 😂
I wouldn't dream of pressure washing anything in this garden.
Thanks for the comment
Much appreciated
Martin.
I see the love of nature and all the hard work that built this garden. Not to mention TIME
I love the hole garden ❤️. Conny and cat Felix 🐈⬛ from Germany .
Thank you, that's a great comment 👍 😊
I love the natural garden looks. But I also enjoy the edges of a cleaned pathway and a trimmed hedge. I really enjoy the discussion of the flowers and plants and why you make certain choices. Thank you for sharing this beauty with the world. 😊
Thank you for the lovely comment 😊
I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Truly, thank you very much. I honestly will never get bored of nice comments like this 🙏
I love the wrought iron gate, the pond and the flagstone gazebo - great garden! Thanks for showing it to us, can't wait for it to become more 'springy'!
Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's was a wonderful feature filled garden. The seasonal changes are quite dramatic here. It's excellent to see it all happening.
Thanks again
Martin
I love all the paths leading to new areas of the garden to explore..it’s all pretty magical I’d say.
Oh, yes. I totally agree 🥰 it's one of my "happy place" gardens 😅
It changes so much throughout the seasons, it's amazing.
Thank you for the lovely comment.
Martin.
My favorite kind of garden! Just MAGICAL ❤❤❤
I'm really glad you agree 😊 👍
It's like a fairytale garden 😁
賞心悅目的園丁工作
Thank you 😊 🙏
I love the garden, all of it!!
That is a very good answer to my question 😊😅👍
I shall try to add more daffodils in the next video, so you can enjoy them vicariously 😁
Thanks again, Trish
Oh yes, I've heard. Allegedly, it's more nutritious than spinach. I did try nettle syrup while I was on a foraging course many years ago. Quite delicious 😋
I've not got around to soup just yet, but perhaps I'll give it a go.
I hope you're right 😂
I think it is all amazing❤
Haha, great answer 😊👍 it was kind of like that for me too. Everything seemed to just work 😊 I wish I had Pete's garden design skills! 😂
I love this garden so much but I'd have to say the pond house, being able to sit slightly over the pond and just watch the wildlife 😍 x
Martin
I like the gibbet at 5:32 and the spinny sun thing at 00:15. 🤣🇺🇸
Một khu vườn lý tưởng đẹp như trong mơ, tuyệt vời, chúc bạn ngày mới tốt lành và nhiều niềm vui❤❤❤🎉💯🤝
Oh, thank you 😊
All the best to you also.
Thank you also for the comment 👍
Martin.
Sorry, gate, not hate! This slate gets tricky at times.
Haha, that's OK. My brain auto corrected that any way 😂
Yeah, you're right about the moss. Really beautiful 😊 I only remove it when I have to. Although I try to convince people not to. Mainy my paid jobs, unfortunately. I have more leeway when I'm doing free work 😁😂
Thanks for the super lovely comment.
P.s I'm glad you don't love the hate! 😂
Martin
Greetings from New Zealand… I enjoyed the whole video Martin,Pete was lucky to have your help👍I look forward to further videos thanks for posting
Greetings, New Zealand 🇳🇿 😊
I'm glad you enjoyed the garden, I think I'm also lucky to have found Pete 😁 he's a rare gentleman.
Thanks for the lovely comment
Martin
I think this wrought iron entrsnce gate is beautiful,as if you were entering a castle garten . Thaks for uplode this video and best regards from Berlin 😊
Greetings. Thanks for watching.
Yeah, the wrought iron is beautiful. He made all of it himself. I wish I had his metal skills 😅
Thanks again
All the best from Nottingham

Thank you Martin! Now I can really see the beauty of the garden!! Very well done! Take care and God bless you and your sweet family! Sincerely, Diane from Missouri😊
Thank you, Diane 😊 it was a lovely little place, wasn't it. I keep trying to find excuses to go back 🥰 fortunately Pete has said I can, any time I like.
He's a real gentleman.
Thanks again
Martin.
I like this little garden it has all sorts of little wonders 😎 CoolBeans 🇨🇦
Greetings Canada 🇨🇦 😊
Thanks for the comment 👍
Yeah, this was a wonderful garden. I know it's not to everybody's taste, but I think it's like a giant fairy garden 😁
Thanks for watching
Martin
Best bit , I like the e goose ornament
I enjoy watching you float over the land as it's not there
Haha, I'd have been a hell of a boxer 😂
If only I could move that fast in real life 😁 I'd get so much more done.
Thanks for watching 👍
You are great and your knowledge of plants is amazing. I really enjoy your videos 😊❤!
Thank you, it means a heck of a lot to me that you're enjoying them. Truly.
So thank you very much for watching.
Much appreciated
Martin
That’s an absolutely lovely garden!! ❤❤❤
It certainly is. It's one of my favorites.
It does wonders for my blood pressure 😁
I'm glad you liked it to 😊👍
I loved those iron gates as you walked in, I love a wildlife garden and mine is still a work in progress but the birds and bees already love it
Oh well done for starting one! 😊👍 I gather a true wildlife garden is never done anyway 😂 so you'll be busy.....but in a good way.
Best of luck with it. Please let me know how you get on.
All the best
Martin.
Nice garden tidy up . Absolutely beautiful garden
Thank you for the comment 🙏 👍 ☺️
I'm really glad you saw the beauty as well 😁
Thank you for identifying most of what is in my garden. Always a pleasure watching your videos. I always learn something. Very nice job you did in this garden.
Thank you very much, Mary.
You're the kindest 😊
Beautiful garden Martin love it all, so natural just how Pete likes it. ❤❤. Pauline. Wiltshire
Awesome, I thought you'd appreciate the beauty of this kind of garden 😁 I know it's not for everyone, but it's heartening to know there are gardens like this out there 🥰
Thanks again, Pauline
Love the serenity of the garden overall, away from the stress and pain of the present day world.
Thank you 😊 I'm glad you liked it. It's a total stress free zone, it's almost like magic to me 😁
Great job a beautiful wild life garden 😊😊😊
Thank you, I'm glad you thought it was a cracking little garden, too.
Buzzing with activity, literally ☺️
Martin.
Well done! Maybe sometime someone could help him tidy up his greenhouse. Nice little garden though.💚
Haha, I did offer to do that. But on closer inspection, the greenhouse is organized chaos 😁😂
Love, love, love your videos. Great gardening tips from a great gardener!!
Oh, thank you 😊 you'll make me blush 😅 what a super lovely comment.
I'll certainly never get bored of reading them! 😂
Thank you.
A real garden at last! Sick of the sterile lawn and lollipop bushes that are shown on these sorts of videos. Thank you for posting. Wish I could find a real gardener to help me out.
Oh, thank you. Well, if you're anywhere near Nottinghamshire, I'd be happy to help 😅
I'm glad you like these styles of gardens, I'm quite lucky, really. I get to work in these all the time. Rusty gates, mossy walls, wild flowers with bugs and birds 😊 I love it.
Thanks again
Martin.
Sadly Australia might be a little too far for you.
Only just 👍😂 although I'd take any excuse to get back to Australia 😅

Good job I like what you are doing
Cheers Mike 👍
What a fun little plant 😁
I can't wait to check out the pictures.
Hope your having a great weekend
All the best
Martin.
Liked the slo mo
Lovely! I expected a cheeky robin to bring you a key to open the gate to the Secret Garden!❤️🇨🇦
My kind of garden! Heavenly chaos!!!
Haha, I love that. "Heavenly chaos" 😊 I may use it in the future.
Thank you for the comment
Much appreciated
Martin
Pete’s garden is a bit “busy” for me, but if it makes Pete happy that’s what matters. I do like the gate, the rooster vane, and love the water features, but his were pretty well “hidden” amongst everything.
I just found your channel and I like what I saw in this one. You did a good job working around everything in the garden. You were very mindful of respecting Pete’s garden. Your hand weed pulling was neat. I liked how you showed the crows and butterfly and talked about them and their species. I also like how you identify the plants in the garden.
Thank you, that all sounds quite positive to me 😊 I'm glad you liked the video.
I'm a workbin progress, so hopefully, I'll keep getting better 😁
@@martinthegardenguy You do good work! You also make it interesting and a learning experience! I enjoyed!
Вы большой молодец! Немного подправили, и ничего не нарушили.
Thank you 👍 🙏 ☺️
What a lovely garden 😁
Indeed, it's one of my happy places 😊 😁 I don't know why, but it's total relaxation when I'm here.
Thanks for watching
Martin.
Are these elder people no longer able to mow their lawn? I love their gardens. Mine is a large yard with flower gardens in different areas. But nothing is fenced in like theirs. Looked much better! 😊
I think most probably still could, but I generally offer to do it as opposed to being asked 👍😁
I'm glad you like the garden 😊 ita was a very calm and wild place.
Thanks for the comment
Martin
That’s my kind of garden, love it
this is my kind of garden!
Tiny gardens are some of my favorites, I think it takes far more effort with planning something special then. I bet it's made you a great gardener 👍
Thanks for the comment, best of look in your garden.
As usual, you've hit the nail on the head, so to speak 👍
It really is one of my happy gardens 😊
Everything works together, someone asked about mosquitoe problems with the pond. But there aren't any issues as the frogs and birds eat so many of them that they never become an issue.
It's like nature has it figured out already.
If we let it, that is 😊
Cheers George
Take care
Martin.
Keep up the good work
What about flowers like, Tiger Lilies, Geraniums, Tulips, Cannas ( have to cut down and bury roots in sand and leave in like a garage somewhere dark), Crocus are pretty!
I've got spare, so Pete can have them 😁
I like the idea of geraniums, he's got some in his other garden so I'll transplant a few over 👍 excellent suggestion.
Loved watching this !!!!!! Beautiful garden, amazing job cleaning it up ✨✨✨
Thank you, I'm really glad you enjoyed it 😊👍
Love it! I was doing a similar customers garden like this today and it made me smile to see another nature loving garden. What’s the handy dandy fork like tool that you weeded the paths with called? And is the rake attachment a wolf garten?
Fave part was his iron gate 🎉
Oh hi 👋 👍 I'm glad you enjoyed it. Oh yes, nature gardens are my favorite. Although I love most gardens 😂
The fork is made by a company called Roam Wild. The are some links in the description if you need help find them.
You're right about the other one, Wolf Garten 😁 some of my favorite kit.
And it saves space in the van 😂
Thanks again
Martin
Brilliant thanks
😊😊 good
Thanks ☺️
Beautiful garden! You did a great job tidying it up. I much prefer gardens like this over the pristine, organized ones. My favorite part: all the moss covered rocks and the little white duck you tried to run over with your mower. 😄
Not a fan of ivy though.
Haha 😂 well spotted. I almost killed Jemima Puddle Duck 😁
I'm so glad you enjoyed the garden, at least I know I'm not going mad.
The moss covered rocks are a beautiful touch, you're right.
I'm not surprised about your thoughts on Ivy, though. I seem like the only person who likes it 😂
Очень милый сад 😊 у меня много из названных вами растений возле дома растет , очень люблю природную естественность и создаю такой же сад ❤☀️💚
Thank you 😊 that was a very nice comment.
I very much appreciate it.

New to your blogs from Australia 🦘 have you ever thought of editing with peaceful background music love your work you are a true gardener not a demolisher thank you 🥀
Indeed, I have thought about it 👍 although I'd probably set up another channel for that 😁
