One of my close friend, who is the Chief Engineer, thoroughly enjoys his every sailing for the past 30 years. he has not made lots of money, also says that his life is always full of fun and adventurous from the say he joined duty. All his 4 children have done their education in US in a expensive universities, Two of his sons are pilots now

மாருதி சொல்வது அத்தனையும் உண்மை. நீண்டநாட்களாக இதுபற்றிய புதிய தகவல்கள் எனக்குத் தெரியாது.இருந்தும் இளஞர்களும் 45-50 வயது வரையான விருப்பமான எவரும் கப்பலில் வேலைசெய்வதற்கான cours (அந்தந்தப் பதவிக்களுக்கான படிப்புகள்)செய்து Sea man book (pass port போன்ற)புத்தகமும் எடுத்த பின்னர் கப்பலில் வேலக்குச்சேரலாம். நான் 1985-2005 வரை கப்பலில் வேலைசெய்தேன்.தொடர்ச்சியாக (திருமணத்தின் முன்)2 வருடம் இருந்தேன்.நல்ல சம்பளம். காசு கொடுத்து வெளிநாடுகளுக்குப் போகத்தேவையில்லை.உடல்நிலையும் மனநிலையும் திடமாக இருந்தால் மிக ஜாலியாக இருக்கும். இப்போ ஐரோப்பிய நாட்டில் இருந்தாலும் கப்பல் வாழ்க்கைப் போலில்லை என்பது என் எண்ணம்.கிடைக்கும் சாப்பாட்டை சாப்பிட்டால்சரி.

In ratio many people wish to join merchant navy from shore area , and almost in ratio people know the risk and awareness about the ship and the shipping field, And if you are in to the ship the rank and role you have is have responsibility those has to taken care of by you , your rank and roles and responsibilities has to be done by you , that's why too many exams and orals conducted , imagine your rank role what has to be done has to be done by you if you say you don't know that then in middle of ocean no one can do anything because each has their own role, And regarding the health shipping field , you forgot to say before every contract you have been in to complete health check-up it's called medicals in your slang it's been done to make sure you are fit for the particular contract , so you are into sailing so it's again a primary job to keep fit and unavoidable situations it's tough to handle that too I heard , chopper can be arranged by own expense or some times by company to reach shore , I agree many people don't get girl irrespective of the girl side know about this field , and many family issues , It's risk involved job , if you signed contract then next 6months it's your house so you need to take care your responsibility there , that's why they pay you huge , but again risk is a risk you have been paid off, Climate change and other stories I don't accept as you get a sailor tag you need to be ready for those things Younger a tag merchant navy so your primary goal to keep fit and you should need complete 100 knowledge on the roles and responsibilities you are aware of it , Let me Tel tel you a situation in middle of sea your engineer some.important screww or bolt broken and ship need that to run and in inventory those spares are not avaliable means , so as a engineer you need to make in lath and need to fix so imagine that much knowledge you need to have its just a example, many tough situations are there , So people with tough mindset and can choose this job not for light hearted one , Again 6months away from home is not a easy thing , you guys are great in one way , make sure before sailing you keep things correct for those 6months , have some good friends in shore to help your parents in your absence . I have many friends and my own brother is a marine engineer, it's a great field , please don't think this as tough job , every job has has its own risk and toughness , ask to a IT guy he says his own stories , and no job in land also have security , even govt job if you do mistake or misuse then they fire , so guys all the best

Hi friends ship life is not good but if you are hotel industry/engineer have best option is ship specially cruise line is best choice . I worked 12 years on cruise ship. I don’t have nothing before starting ship . Now have enough think to support my family having good family time this good for me . Without ship I am nothing so choice is in you hand. As brother mentioned ship life is not easy but till manage ship is good to earn money after find way to stay with family .
1:25 Each ship should have a parking space for helicopter or small 5 seater aeroplane..If a person has to urgently visit family, that helicopter or aeroplane can be used.

All his 4 children have done their education in US in a expensive universities, Two of his sons are pilots now

நான் 1985-2005 வரை கப்பலில் வேலைசெய்தேன்.தொடர்ச்சியாக (திருமணத்தின் முன்)2 வருடம் இருந்தேன்.நல்ல சம்பளம். காசு கொடுத்து வெளிநாடுகளுக்குப் போகத்தேவையில்லை.உடல்நிலையும் மனநிலையும் திடமாக இருந்தால் மிக ஜாலியாக இருக்கும். இப்போ ஐரோப்பிய நாட்டில் இருந்தாலும் கப்பல் வாழ்க்கைப் போலில்லை என்பது என் எண்ணம்.கிடைக்கும் சாப்பாட்டை சாப்பிட்டால்சரி.

In ratio many people wish to join merchant navy from shore area , and almost in ratio people know the risk and awareness about the ship and the shipping field,
And if you are in to the ship the rank and role you have is have responsibility those has to taken care of by you , your rank and roles and responsibilities has to be done by you , that's why too many exams and orals conducted , imagine your rank role what has to be done has to be done by you if you say you don't know that then in middle of ocean no one can do anything because each has their own role,
And regarding the health shipping field , you forgot to say before every contract you have been in to complete health check-up it's called medicals in your slang it's been done to make sure you are fit for the particular contract , so you are into sailing so it's again a primary job to keep fit and unavoidable situations it's tough to handle that too I heard , chopper can be arranged by own expense or some times by company to reach shore ,
I agree many people don't get girl irrespective of the girl side know about this field , and many family issues ,
It's risk involved job , if you signed contract then next 6months it's your house so you need to take care your responsibility there , that's why they pay you huge , but again risk is a risk you have been paid off,
Climate change and other stories I don't accept as you get a sailor tag you need to be ready for those things
Younger a tag merchant navy so your primary goal to keep fit and you should need complete 100 knowledge on the roles and responsibilities you are aware of it ,
Let me Tel tel you a situation in middle of sea your engineer some.important screww or bolt broken and ship need that to run and in inventory those spares are not avaliable means , so as a engineer you need to make in lath and need to fix so imagine that much knowledge you need to have its just a example, many tough situations are there ,
So people with tough mindset and can choose this job not for light hearted one ,
Again 6months away from home is not a easy thing , you guys are great in one way , make sure before sailing you keep things correct for those 6months , have some good friends in shore to help your parents in your absence .
I have many friends and my own brother is a marine engineer, it's a great field , please don't think this as tough job , every job has has its own risk and toughness , ask to a IT guy he says his own stories , and no job in land also have security , even govt job if you do mistake or misuse then they fire , so guys all the best
