First let me say that you're very talented. I'm just running across this video 5 years later. I began to pray for you and your family. I hope that everything got better for you and your family after the ordeal you've encountered. God bless you and your family.
This is one of the best videos I have seen for this! I hope you are safe and that you have a home to go back to. God bless you and all of the Ukraine 🇺🇦 🙏

@@HelenKukovski Nothing to thank about! It's reality! God gifted you with that and you are my kind of person...you don't throw your money on the window. I wish to do something like that but I can't...not alone...everybody who's crafting will wish you to do that for them and not to spend so much money on dream box. I'm not saying people should not buy that, too. Good for those who can afford...not me! I have a very small craft corner and I don't know how to arrange it to meet my needs.
You don't need a handy man, but you wouldn't have any of that if the man dint build or manufacturer the parts to begin with to have us buy it pre made already to just be assembled lol
Excellent! I wanted to purchase the dream box, but at 3,000 dollars it's still a dream. I am going to plan this as my winter project. Thank you soooo much for this!
Inspiring! I've been coveting a DreamBox but can't rationalize the cost. Figured there has to be a good alternative. Thank you so much for sharing your process in making yours! Happy making stuff!
It's so expensive the dream box and I have so much stuff I wanted to put in a bus so I can be mobile and the dream box will just roll an make a disaster
Agree, kept seeing Dreambox adds on my social media and once I saw the price tag I thought-but this looks like cheap ikea furniture, no way in hell am I spending almost 3 grand! I could build it out of real wood for that price!
I'm so sorry you lost your belongings and what you, your friends their families and your family is going through. Keeping you and your country in my prayers. Please stay as safe as you can!

Great idea. I didn't have the space so I turned what I already had into storage for my Cricut machines and materials. I used the Billy bookcase with the half glass doors. I can't find 2 of the 3 items you used. Not available at Ikea. Trying other sizes to compromise. Thank you for such a great idea. Can't wait to start mine
Hi. This is the best one I have seen! Some of the items are no longer available. The Gersby is the only one available where I am. Is there a certain reason why you used the platsa? And what is the funnes used for? I’m trying to figure out what other pieces I can make work at ikea to go along with the Gersby. Thank you!
Thank you Shemeka! If they don’t have Platsa you can use any other, maybe Metod? Or even Billy, it has to be the same height and width as Gersby. Or you can use 4 Billys for example, they will all be the same that way. I used Fonnes ( the doors) as a front piece for the whole thing, you can actually use any material, like cutout chipboard. It would be cheaper than buying Fonnes. Since I don’t have this workspace anymore, I may do that again with some other items because I really miss it and need one.
Discovered this, and there’s plenty here to figure it out with current IKEA stock. I appreciate it, and I’m thinking about you. If you haven’t landed somewhere yet, I hope you do soon.
Wahou! Thanks so much! this is exactly what i need right now! But there is something that i don't understand. When did you use the 2 fonnes and for what? Thank you!!
Thank you! It was around 380$, it would be much cheaper if I did it from scratch, without IKEA items, but at that point my skills were not that great :)
Did you use 6 angles with 4 holes for the cabinet back and 2 for the table legs? Is it 2 meters long wooden slats for the table legs?Is it only 6 angles with 6 holes to mount the table top and this latch to fix the table top to the Cupboard?
I'm wondering whether one could create a more spacious single central shelf by using only two sides and then custom-made shelves. What I don't know is whether those shelves will be capable of holding some weight.
