- This is a clash between Russian and Ukrainian forces for control over the capital Kyiv. I made up this cinematic simulation to show you what the situation may look like and show our community support for Ukraine. These events are heartbreaking, and such scenarios are ONLY fun in video games. You'll also see our beloved Javelin vs T-72 tanks and more. Let's hope and pray for Peace.

@@user-wj6cv5wu5w Judging by what is happening in Kyiv, most of these volunteers will not live to see the start of the assault on the city. They have been at war with themselves for the fifth night.
Yeah once the tanks and armor are gridlock and stuck in trenches and trapped by other broken tanks the civilians are going to do same dark stuff to.those crippled troops, I guarantee it.
They aren't bound by the same laws at this point.. would not be suprised if there are executions

The Combat Mission series is one of the few games I know that show how awful it is to attack against an dug in enemy
you should add:
-Russia: mechanized infantry, spec ops, and air force
-Ukraine: militia, some tanks, MANPADS (Igla and Stinger) ,.....

@@Belgorodbassboost there are little amount of Oplot in comparison with T-64 and T-80 so I don't know. I would like some Bulat
T-72 has no chance in hell of surviving a hit from a Javelin. T-90 could take a hit if it didn’t stike a critical area but it would be heavily damaged.
t72 and t90 has nearly the same armour layout lol. only difference is the variants and little bit better turret armour. and technology. but they're basically the same. even T80BV is stronger than T90. no tank can withstand a top attack from a javelin. direct attack maybe. but top attack is sure kill.
Abrams, Leclerc, Leopard 2a7 cannot withstand a top attack mode javelin.
T90 has no chance even with cage armour.
I thought I watched a video that explained how a T90 could withstand a Javelin if it didn’t strike perfectly but I’m not afraid to admit when I’m wrong if that’s the case. If a T90 has no chance at all against a javelin then I was wrong, my bad.
In real life t72 survives almost 3 shots from javelin, if one of them are not perfect. If it is perfect it's gonna destroyed in one, but chance of that is 30%, and most of tanks destroyed with perfect shot was standing, without crew, and mostly they was damaged.
may god be with my Ukrainian friend in discord, he's now participating the defence of Kiev as a resistance member currently doing just fine and still talk to us for a short while when there's no battle going on(his brother served and fight in the rapid deployment force, not sure where dk where he's fighting)

How did you manage to make the Jewelin shoot upwards? It’s just that when I tried to hit enemy equipment, then the Jevelin shot incomprehensibly somewhere

In another corner of TH-cam someone else made a video with CMBS running in the background, while chatting about the current situation in Ukraine. I commented on that video that there are too many Oplots in CMBS, since irl Ukraine only has about 10 Oplots. My early morning brain assumed you were replying to that one.

The Third battle of Kiev - is an ongoing military battle for control of the capital city of Ukraine, Kyiv; it is part of Russia's Kyiv offensive in the 2022 Russian Invasion of Ukraine(Also known as the Russo-Ukrainian war).

And about “Z” and “V”, I think “Z” stands for Western military district (Западный военный округ) [Zapadny voenny okrug] and “V” for Eastern military district (Восточный военный округ) [Vostochny voenny okrug]

Russian forces attacking kiev has „V” mark instead of „Z” which is painted on russian vehicles on the east.
As far ive seen the Chechenian vehicles had the V

Dude, javelins are incredible in that game. Cant imagine how much damage they are causing among russian ranks. It does look like russian tanks have some sort of vertical attack protection welded onto them, not sure how effective that is at stopping them.

@@nicm.z9868 I know but I mean main weapon caused the most enemy loss. Like in Soviet Afghan war, I know that Stinger is very famous but the main weapon that shot down Soviet chopper are ZU 23 and SA 7.
Most likely there are no javelins in Kyiv. During the entire war, the Russian army was unable to capture a single javelin, and the Ukrainian army was also unable to provide a video of the use of javelins. Apparently, all or almost all of the javelins were stored in one of the warehouses destroyed on the first night.

The Russian Troops are Supported by the Rebel forces in Dombas, while the Ukrainians have gone for something that Israel has done since it's founding which is to Train every citizen that is of age to handle a Firearm or man an Artillery piece, A Tank or even an APC for the defense of their country, albeit at a somewhat voluntary level. The strengths of both sides of this conflict are as Follows:
Russian Federation: ~175,000 - 190,000
Donetsk Republic: 20,000
Luhansk Republic: 14,000
Ukraine:
Armed Forces: 209,000
Paramilitary: 102,000
Reserves: 900,000
The three Aircraft that both sides are using are Soviet era Sukhoi Su-27 Flanker B's, Su-25 Frogfoot's and Mig-29 Fulcrum's while the Russian Federation also Fields the Su-35 Flanker D's, the Kamov Ka-50 Black Shark and Ka-52 Alligator Attack Helicopters and Both sides are also using the Infamous Mil Mi-24 "Hind" Attack/Transport Helicopters and The Sukhoi Su-24 Attack Aircraft.
Russia has just sent the TOS-1 Buratino and it's Flamethrower Variant, TOS-1A Solntsepyok (Sunburn), Thermobaric Rocket Launchers to Ukraine as well. The TOS-1A is so powerful that it'll literally incinerate anything it lays it's sight on. Wonder if "Men of War: Assault Squad 2" has a Mod for that particular system?
In MOWAS2's very good Red Frog mod, the TOS-1 is available.
the T-64BV in this video did very well in disabling many of the Russian tanks though when it faced the T-90 close to the end it could no pen or disable it

You don't fire a Javelin or a RPG from inside a building the back blast would blow you out a window. Get a veteran, who knows what they are doing to help you with the details.
