If you want to get better at Echo here are some tips 1. Throw the disc like a ball. If you throw it like a frisbee your throw won't be as fast nor accurate. 2. Go work on your throwing. Instead of wandering around the map or punching people in the brawler room. Go to the Echo arena training and start throwing. You can get your own personal disc. 3. Pass a lot and use call outs. Passing can pressure the other team. Use call outs like red (someone is on your teamate or very close). You can also call out your location so whoever has the disc can pass it to you. 4. Get open instead of stunning people. Usually lower level players go around stunning people because they don't have the disc. Get open so you can get passes. Those are some tips for you guys. Ok seriously, if any of you are not considering trying Echo VR, you seriously should. I've never really been big on sports games, but MY GOD is Echo Arena amazing. I tried it once because it was free and why not, and now I'm playing it every single day and I'm even on a Vr master league team for it. There's some serious hardcore players out there. But even if you're not really into the game, it's still just great fit socializing in the lobby, which you can easily spend hours doing.
I would highly recommend getting used to moving in vr using the joystick before trying Echo VR as it is very easy to get motion sickness as the game is trying it’s hardest to make you feel like you are floating in zero G while also being physically grounded so it can definitely mess with your inner ear. Once you get used to vr sickness, it is a blast to play and is pretty immersive.
Can you imagine if Disney decided to jump into the VR world.. either with their own app or even their own headset. They could create virtual Disney worlds. THey could have interactions with virtual cast members. Family and friends could meet there. Also because it is virtual.. Disney could have private park experiences or groups you can invite to join into your Disney world. Or even if it is a general public world.. they can create new instances of the world to make it less crowded etc. It could include watching films.. going on virtual rides and so much more.

I agree. Altspace VR is amazing. I love exploring worlds and making friends from all over the world, which I can have great conversations with. I use it for about a month. The built-in games I've seen aren't that great. Mostly throwing things at targets, like a basketball through a hoop and then there is Holograms Against Humanity. There are also other interactive elements. The lack of gaming experience seems to make it boring for kids. The main focus appears to be in events and social interaction. There are cool clubs and other kind of events. What I love most is the ability to build worlds. The provided elements are cartoonish, but you can build descent worlds using Unity and your favorite 3D modelling program like Blender, Sketchup etc. - It's a cool place for creative people!

I recommend the beat saber demo you have one song
you can practice and go against ur family to beat each other’s scores and its just a whole lot of fun in general if you really like the game and want to buy it I recommend buying the game on steam as you can install custom songs, you can get custom songs on the quest itself but it’s complicated and is risky as you have to trust unknown files on your device,on the pc you can download and add files to the game’s directory files after running it through a virus software to make sure its safe
mission ISS kind of makes me motion sick just seeing it in 2d on my monitor bruh
F
God mission iss just makes me puck almost. The most i can play is 5 minutes and i look like a drunk
I’m going to check it out today wish me luck
My 8 yr old loves it
My stomach does flip flops within 2 minutes of starting Mission ISS. And then I saw this 2D video of it and my stomach turned over a little.
I was watching the video and downloaded almost every game in the list and I stopped on rec room and saw a custom room called recwar_pvp and I'm like "I know that room I have it on my favorites!!" Long story short I got way to excited
I just my Quest 2 yesterday!!
Same
Same
I'm getting my for Christmas :D
What
recommend the Anne Frank house VR if you are new to VR its not only educational but a look at history
I’m getting the oculus in a few days and this is making me even more hype
I got my VR head set today on Christmas
I got mine on Christmas too
My school when I was in 7th grade bought a bunch of cheap vr headsets and taught us abt Anne Frank by showing us Anne Frank’s house in vr
Thats so cool i wish my school did that
Same except we looked at Egyptian stuff
You sure your footage is standalone Quest 2 rather than pc based Quest 2 footage?
My Quest 2 Ann Frank is nothing like your version visually and not expecting the ISS to be the same as your footage either.
Rec Room is definitely the best VR Free Game ever. I love the quests, especially GoldenTrophy and CrimsonCauldron
I love rec room too
I'm mainly getting a set just to experience vrchat so im very excited
i don’t know why but vr games get me light headed
you probably have motion sickness
now that it's been a month of playing, are you still experiencing this? I feel the same and I'm wondering if its permanent.
@@RT-uq1mp yeah every time i use the vr it makes me nauseous
@@RT-uq1mp i felt sick every time i moved around in first person, so like game like echo vr, rec room, or when you turn off holoport in vrchat, i got used to it a little but its still a bit sickening for me but i found if i adjusted my headset to where it fit me better to where i can see clearly, it doesnt happen as often
I downloaded the an frank game and started doing cringe dances inside the closet
Just remember with echo arena, the gameplay is free but you will be spending a lot of money on replacement touch controllers
Very accurate, if you don’t want to destroy your controllers, get the Mamut VR halo ring protectors
First contact is just cute. That robot was my, well, 'first contact' with VR back when I got my CV1
This is the best vr device ever, you cannot change my mind it is awesome
dang cant sign up for facebook horizon apparently i cant select Denmark from their list...
One thing i though, is sidequest allowed from facebooks point of view? I really dont want to get my Fb account baned xD
Yeah side quest is most definitely allowed. They even add updates to help support sidequest
@@sleepingturtle32 thank you so much. It's a big and bright new world ! 😃
If it's social interaction why when they all talk they only say lalalala
8:21 When he said "I love" I thought he was gonna say "Isle of lost skulls" lmao. I can't be the only one right?
Yee
I JUST got my Quest 2 yesterday and had no idea where to begin haha. I’m very new to the world of VR. This video helped a ton!
Thanks for your disclaimers for certain games, looking at getting one for my son and I didn't even think of games being 'toxic' (bad language and all that). Keep up the good videos!
wish me luck guys, hopefully i get the quest 2 for christmas ill update you if i remember (comment on or after christmas)
edit: i got it
I'll remember, also I'm getting quest 2 also for Christmas also so that's cool!
I've asked one for christmas I've even said I would pay for it... Turns out my grandparents were like ill get it then they bought one of those box vrs because it was cheaper 🤦🏼♀️
Guy's when I say I'll pay for it I mean I will so I can get the right one and on time. Now I have to wait 2 weeks until it's back in stock then another 2 weeks to deliver.. 😕
Update?
@@williamkeohane9964 i got it
ME TOO YAYYYY
I was playing Echo and a kid said, "This game is so scary!". I was confused how was it scary.
Uhhh what?
Zero G, open environment, probably new to VR and they’ve gotta ease into it.
Yea it was prob the height as well. Feeling like you may fall...
Oculus users must be 13 years old of age or higher. If they aren't, they are violating the Oculus terms.
Honestly dude. No one cares about that. Honestly.

I just got my vr today and this is an amazing list, there are a few others I would put this lift but still some great recommendations
I just ordered the quest today, it's supposed to arrive in January, but I have been watching these videos all day in anticipation.
I'm still confused why all these vids dont immediately have 10k views or more
Gay people are actually just figments of our imagination
@@awesomeaiden1269 I see
@@halomaster6275 your welcome for enlightening you
@@halomaster6275 oh and btw how can I play games that I already bought on non oculus link, on oculus link

A fun, chill game I used to play on my old gear Vr but works on all types of oculus is Altspace VR
*crys in oculus quest 1* BOUGHT THE THING IN JUNE I AM SO DONE FBVEJSJBWISBWJS
Aw, that stinks, I’m sorry.
I bought mine in july :/ I'm thinking about getting the quest 2, though, aswell!
Lmao I just tried mission iss 2 days ago and god damn 🤢🤮 I've been playing vr for almost 3 years, made my stomach churn
My wife's grandparents love the casino and tried his PS VR and loved it cant wait till Xmas so they can try my son's 256GB Quest 2. I got it because of watching your videos, thanks for them I really like them even though it seems I dont.
just got my quest 2 today for xmas, im so glad i found a video like this because i have no idea what to get!
I recommend superhot and beatsaber they are really fun and easy to learn
YES. please play echo VR. there is pretty much no reason not to. it’s free, it’s fun, and it is some pretty good exercise. can’t wait till the quest 2 players get good and become level 50!
I just got my quest 2 today and it is WAY better then my PSVR. It is the best headset hands down!
Waltz of the wizard is free on steam and takes advantage of finger tracking, might wanna check that out too 😊
I CAN NOT STOP playing rec room!!! On my first day on the quest I played that and me and 4 other people were all first timers to vr and we played for HOURS together eventually we all had to sit down to play so we could charge while we played and I still play with them everyday
Does your quest slide down on your face and get blurry?
@@sleepingturtle32 no that is a sign that you need to tighten it a good bit pull the strap on top back some then the two sliders on the back of the head strap move towards the front of the quest 2 do this until it feels right and if you dont understand look it up on TH-cam and I'm sure there is a video on it
Once you play more of it you will stop getting addicted like me, I with friendly people to toxic players and the game got more boring
This video gives me butterflies cuz I can't wait till it arrives
elixir was a crazy experience, i really hope they make it into a full game someday! i loved the gameplay and the voice acting, and hand tracking is just cool as hell in general
I really didn't like it. it was too try hard...
like someone had played Lionhead games and read Discworld but ... They didn't truly understand them.
Thank for the help, I’ve play some games on there and I’m getting my VR head set
I love love love love the echo VR

10:43 Facebook Horizon
11:39 Bigscreen VR
12:43 BONUS: SideQuest
That Tomogatchi-esque virtual pet idea would be super cool if it was integrated into the home environment. You could just take a minute to feed your pet before each play session
Just got my Quest today after watching you play it and all my kids love it!
Just ordered my quest 2 and it will be here in a couple of days and I'm so pumped. I've been excited about vr for forever but never got beyond phone vr. I CANNOT WAIT! I'm going to be watching videos about it until it gets here.
Path of the Warrior looks pretty cool for an old time gamer like myself. I always loved those types of games. TMNT the arcade version was one of my favorites back in the day
That intro summed it up pretty well
I just got a quest 2 a few days ago and honestly it’s the most fun I’ve had playing games since like 2010. I’ve been playing a lot of super hot and onward. Fit vr is awesome as well, and it really is a good workout.
i cant wait to get my quest 2
i want to play tiny town, physics playground, maybe even poker vr and mission iss
I’m coming new to vr just because I didn’t have enough money to get a vr headset before so thanks for the recommendations
Literally getting a oculus quest 2 very soon and I’m hella excited
You forgot Bait! A pretty awesome free fishing game!
correct
My husband and I just bought ours today. We haven't downloaded anything yet. We are watching what we should get first. I have a feeling a should get my own.
big screen vr is a really cool concept
