I always thought of Peter's style of running as "looking like he's running down hill even when he's on level ground."
He looks like he's trying to swim on land lol
I always love when Capaldi displays his understanding of the character, like here when he describes the Doctors true self vs human perception.
I love how deep Peter gets in his answers. He is so awesome and I love him!
Peter's hair is epic. I always said his hair was an entity unto itself. :D I love Peter so much. I don't want him to go!

I loved this episode. Peter Capaldi encompasses the Doctor in a beautiful and kind way. Pearl Mackie was outstanding as ever too. I love their personalities!

I could listen to Capaldi talk about the characteristics of the Doctor for hours. His Doctor has become one of, if not, my favorites. I am going to miss him so much! >_
Ever since I started watching the show I've waited for someone like him to take on the role and now he is leaving so soon. :/
Still I remind myself that even though Capaldi is leaving the Doctor lives on. Peter gave us a whole new show. Thank you for that Peter! You are going down in Dr Who history as the best one yet.

Morganism not quite the point I was trying to make. I was thinking more along the lines that it seems like just yesterday he became our Doctor and that I would miss him very much after his departure even if he did another season. It seems too soon for me. I would have absolutely loved to see him travelling in the TARDIS a few seasons more but I respect his decision. I am grateful we have 3 Capaldi seasons :)
Yeah, now I getcha. Yeah I agree there... ;; he was sucha lovely Doctor. I thought I wouldn't find anyone else to compete with David but Peter sure did closely become a tie for me. He shoes a more adult seriousness that the 10th had somewhat and then a more harder to understand humour, and yet the humour is completely lovely. One day I hope to meet the man and just sit in a room and talk for hours!
Peter is so down to earth and is such a good guy. He so gracious towards his fans and I just love him! It is so cool that he got to play a character he was a fan of since his childhood.

I like it when Bill asks the Doctor why he doesn't have any chairs closer to the TARDIS console. I'm surprised the Doctor didn't mention that he did once during the Eccleston and Tennant era.
I also liked it when the Doctor asks Bill who said he liked the TARDIS as a police box. Because he actually said that as the Eighth Doctor in the TV movie.
And also when Bill is directing the Doctor to the engine core.
So I really enjoyed this episode, especially as Ralf Little did in fact appear after all.
I love how Peter is interested in the little Doctor doll on the table haha definitely another great episode!

I loved Smile and Peter is really growing on me, at season 8, I didn't really like him but now by season 10, I think he might be my new favorite doctor and I will be sad to watch him leave.
I totally agree he really should write a book on the doctor, he has such a deep understanding of the doctor and the show. It's beautiful hearing him describe it. He's so elegantly spoken

This episode felt very classic Who in a way I wasn't expecting. It felt very much like the McCoy era, with the dark twists on a harmless everyday normality, the professor/student relationship 12 and Bill have (kinda like 7 and Ace). I just enjoyed everything about this story honestly. 😁
One of the many wonderful episodes of Doctor Who, we are lucky to have such a magnificent cast and crew! 😊

Superb episode, Bill was brilliant and the perfect foil to Peter's doctor, it's bittersweet that Peter is leaving when he has Pearl Mackie to shine with him in this series. They are brilliant together.

I do agree with Peter's response to the Doctor's more fallable episodes to an extent.
In Classic it was depicted that Time Lords had a 'Time Sense,' and could see somewhat into the future, into the past, and sense nearby temporal distortions and paradoxes.
The idea was depicted before it, but the story where it was named and really shown was 'Warrior's Gate' with the Doctor and Romana.
What a fantastic man and Doctor he is! Loving Bill too! Loved Smile, it was a brilliant episode!

'The Pilot' was great and so was 'Smile'; the season seems to be shaping up very nicely.
I really enjoyed episode 2. Loving the relationship between the doctor and Bill.
I just adore Peter! I like his hair, too. I watched movies of him when we were all younger (I'm his age) and he had really great hair back then, too! As the Doctor, I think he nails it! He has the massive talent and the memories of the original Doctor Who from when it first started to add layers and dimension to the guy! I am really going to miss him!
These after shows are better than the reviews last year I'm enjoying it!

Night Dragon well I guess the character is quite cynical and serious I mean I think in series 10 he's more like the series 8 version
i loved this episode it felt new and it was awsome im excited to see next weeks plus i like how all 3 episodes are interlocking together i hope they do that more

As you have brought up a cornfield in Wales, firstly I would love to know how the BBC edited out all the crop circles, secondly I have this voice in my head screaming "quickly the Sun is out lights camera.... Never mind clouds are back, and obviously thanks for the penguin running line that will make a good ringtone
I have seen this city, Valencia, Spain, and this place is quite lovely just like the others I have seen in Spain of Salamanca and Segovia. I really loved Spain and would love to return and visit again very soon.
Yes, Peter should write a book of what he discussed within just writing. I would love to read his story.

Never have I wanted a confidential episode more than after seeing 'Smile'. Could the creative team not just vlog about the production of it all and we the fans will stitch it all together into something palatable? I'm sure the guys over at VG934 would be happy to. BTW why do we never use all the outside content creators for the show sans John Smith?
