Peter Capaldi is, for me, at least, the greatest actor to step into the shoes of the Doctor. The man can say more in a glance than most actors can in an entire monologue, and when he DOES monologue, I'm just transfixed. He brought gravitas and humor, class and silliness, and above all, a certain elegance to the role. The man is an absolute legend.
