Hi Sensei B! Firstly I'm so thankful that I got to know you in the TEFL class, it was a pleasure learning from you. You are such a sincere person... I love your honesty and it really comes through even on your channel. Looking forward to your content. Ps. I'm waiting for my certification...😇 Thank you for sharing your experiences🥰
Aw Vaneshree, thank you so much for the sweet msg. I had a great time with your group. Hopefully your certificate has reached African soul at least. All the best and thanks for watching. 💛🐝
It's a difficult thing to do for sure, full of ups-and-downs - I enjoyed hearing your perspective of your time here in Japan. Hope you are keeping well!
Jadan! I am so happy to see you here. Still loving your content :). I have so much to share and from face-to-face encounters, I've realized that the knowledge and experiences I have count for something to so many people. Thanks for watching :)
Thanks for this video. Its so nice to watch a video from the South African perspective and you giving facts. I watched another South Africa youtuber who is straight up spreading disinformation about the Jet programme - she told viewers that they don't need money because Jet pays for everything 😂. I appreciate your honesty and this is very helpful. I look forward to watching your next video.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and personal experience sissy; it’s very interesting. In our case I’m just glad we came to Japan 🇯🇵; I’ve started sharing about our experience on TH-cam and all I can say is every situation is different. I definitely appreciate your perspective
Hello Khumi, WOW let me subscribe to your channel and start watching. I love seeing other people's experiences. You're very brave for sharing btw. All the best and thanks for watching 😊💛🐝
Hey Sensei, could you please make a video telling us on your experience with being treated as a "foreigner" and the expenses videos... i want to apply for the JET programme and i would really love to know about this... TIA
Hi Lungile :), I've recorded the JET Program video. Please look out for it this week. And what a good idea, I'll definitely talk about foreigner treatment because it gets REAL. Thanks for watching 🐝🐝🐝
Thank you so much for making this videos❤ I am planning to apply for the JET program and the information you gave was really helpful cause I'm also a south african❤ I do hope you make more videos about Japan❤
You're paying the equivalent of R20K for a studio apartment smaller than a South African kitchen. It's madness but you get paid more so it's whatever. Haha thanks for watching Nomcebo 😊💛🐝
Some of the old folks attend school because they are bored at home. They are too old to work so school is another way to make friends. You can find a lot of 60/70 y'o folks working part-time at a factory or convenience store etc because they are alone at home. They can come and work for 4 hrs. They don't need that much money. They need friends.
Kodwa can you see the delicate necklace and the neutral coloured jumper ALL inspired by you. 🙈🙈☺️☺️. Yes, I have a little channel. ☺️ Thanks for watching.
Hey Sis, your vid came at a right time now that JET applications are open. Please make another video where you explain the living expenses seeing that JET is offering R32 000. Is that enough? And next time talk about other countries you've lived in please😊🙏🏾
Hey I wanted to ask about the pension fund that I heard you have to pay on a monthly basis, as a South African can you claim it back after returning to SA?
I wish I had seen this before I did the entire application, the cost of living is way too high that leaving a teaching job in SA to be a JET does not make financial sense. I want to save a lot of money.
Hi Slindile, you're so right. I think sometimes we get so excited about living abroad forgetting that that costs money too. It's wise of you to weigh your options before making a decision. Thanks for watching 🖤🖤
Did you try going back to the restaurant on a different day? I'm sure the sign would always read "No foreiners here today". Many hotels in China do not accept foreiners as well. It's a typical Chinese and Japanese thing. I don't know about other Asian countries. From my understanding, the way foreiners maight act in such places isn't compatible with their culture
Hi Nelly, I've never lived in HK so I don't know. Although I've met some people working here with an advanced diploma, I can't guarantee that every company accepts it. Please apply and ask the company you're interested in. All the best. 💛🐝😋🙏🏾
Great idea. It's going to shock a lot of people. It will definitely destroy the facade that living abroad makes you rich. The situation is definitely better than South Africa but you get taxed twice. It's a lot LOL 🤣
Hey girl. Sorry for all the questions, I don't know who else to ask! When filling in your "homestate and hometown", do you put your province as your homestate (e.g. Western Cape), and your city as your hometown (e.g. Cape Town)?
Hi Laaiqah, apologies for the delayed response. Yes, try to look at how many blocks they have open so you start with city and go up. They will usually accept your application and if they need you to use different codes, they'll explain. ALL THE BEST 💛🐝
Hi Nompumelelo, you would have to remove it during work. Don't even tell them you have it. You can wear it on weekends and days off. Good luck and thanks for watching. 🖤🐝
Hi Lesedi, :) The lists for each country change every now and then. It's usually communicable diseases. Please Google an updated list. During your visa application one of the forms will ask you to declare any illnesses you have and what medication you're on. Whether your visa application is successful or not based off this feedback is unknown. But many countries are open to everyone. ❤️🐝
Hi Khensiie :), thanks for watching. There are so many factors to consider. Both paths have major pro's and cons. Let me know if you'd like a quick comparison video on what to expect from au pairing, tefl, working on a cruise ship and other jobs abroad. 💛🐝
@@_baphiwe_ I Would Really Appreciate That So Much !💕 I'm Actually A Qualified Flight Attendant & An International Travel Management Graduate, So Obviously In S.A The Tourism Industry Is Really Bad !!! So Hence I'm Venturing Abroad .
Excellent question Siya. I think that, like many ills on this planet, they exist in the heart and no country boarder can eliminate these. Same gendered relationships are not as visible in Japan as they are in the west. I know couples do get side-eyed but as someone who was in a hetero relationship, I can't speak of the experiences or challenges of other people. Please try googling the topic on YT. Asian Boss covers this. All the best. 💛🐝😊
This happens quite a lot. And to each their own really. People don't feel like they owe you anything just because you share a nationality. Sucks but you will find your tribe. :)💛🐝😊

It's only bad if the person using it intends to use it to harm someone. "For purposes of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), any person who is not a citizen or a national of the United States.
