Konnichiwa :) I'm Bee_Sensei and people love DM'ing me questions about working, teaching and living abroad. I created this channel to respond to those people and give them information to help them make a decision about whether to move abroad or not. No sugar-coating. Straight-shots only. I love you and I love helping you 🥰

    Some of the old folks attend school because they are bored at home. They are too old to work so school is another way to make friends. You can find a lot of 60/70 y'o folks working part-time at a factory or convenience store etc because they are alone at home. They can come and work for 4 hrs. They don't need that much money. They need friends.

    How can they call themselves civilised, yet avoid foreiners on the subway?

  • @XY-rh3if
    @XY-rh3if 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Did you try going back to the restaurant on a different day? I'm sure the sign would always read "No foreiners here today". Many hotels in China do not accept foreiners as well. It's a typical Chinese and Japanese thing. I don't know about other Asian countries. From my understanding, the way foreiners maight act in such places isn't compatible with their culture

  • @XY-rh3if
    @XY-rh3if 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

    It sounds like the Japanese work environment is too professonal to be called civilised.

      Hi Nelly, I've never lived in HK so I don't know. Although I've met some people working here with an advanced diploma, I can't guarantee that every company accepts it. Please apply and ask the company you're interested in. All the best. 💛🐝😋🙏🏾

  • @brandtmaxwell4064
    @brandtmaxwell4064 ปีที่แล้ว

    No offense but your English isn’t fluent and you have a non English accent. That’s prob the biggest reason some companies haven’t hired you. In my experience most schools want teachers without a foreign accent. Theres also the issue with English not being your native tongue so there’s many idioms for example that you wouldn’t be familiar with. The saying is “do as I say not as I do” which is an example English not bring your native tongue 🤷‍♂️

      LoL you are not learned, English is the official language of South Africa. They are native speakers of English, so stop being ignorant.
