I followed your guide and successfully installed the replacement grille. You are right to warn about the clips being tight! I had a right game with getting the bottom right clip off, and in the end it snapped, but aside from that single casualty, it went pretty smoothly, and I’m very happy with the end result. Even my wife likes it, which is saying something 😂. She would like me to swap over the little BMW “i” badge though 😊.

Thanks for the video. Since installing it have you noticed any downsides, reduced range, wind noise etc? Looking to do similar but BMW must use a sealed kidney grill for a reason..
Honestly not really. Maybe - Maybe slightly more noise but nothing major. As in always talking or music so no. Only if sitting in silence, and range wise. Maybe 3/4 miles all in. But again really didn’t affect it for what I do. But it does look wicked, 😅 and that’s what I wanted 🙏
