- *A justification for the shaky camera work and yelling :) This video was recorded in 2011. Some of our clarinet sectionals are self-run. We try to make them as fun and productive as possible. I asked our section leader to record us running the piece after one short rehearsal. He was probably looking at the score with one hand, while trying to film us with the other. I think our interpreation is pretty exciting for only a second reading! One of the members in this video is no longer with us. We love you sweet angel.
We are very proud of what the musicians in this video have accomplished over the last 10 years. They are currently college professors, band and orchestra directors, principal players in professional orchestras, and/or international touring musicians. This particular clarinet studio represents some of the last students under Dr. Richard Shanley.

Eb Clarinet sounds Cute
I was a Baylor music school clarinet major, got BM in 96! I remember this rehearsal space so fondly, well done yall! I studied under Dr. Shanley, and was a student alongside Jun Qian, good times :) This is the room my college barbershop quartet The Moonlighters would rehearse in, and we recorded a Christmas album right where yall are sitting.
