There is no such thing as dead heroes in the Fire Emblem world. Awakening proves this In all the DLC going all the way back to Gaiden and Mystery of the Emblem. By the way....playing awakening is a great Fire emblem game choice.
I could visualise that part closing out the theme in a modern version of the song or a smash remix. I'm actually inspired to remix the song with that part in, which would be a nice small project one I finish my final exam tomorrow.

I never would have thought that I’d actually be playing FE3 just three months later, but here we are.
Still the best rendition of the Fire Emblem theme
For sure, I love its entrance tune and the end as well, guess The Sacred Stones got lightly influenced by this theme, the end is almoste the same.
Its first chords sounds like some medieval royal announcement.
This version is definitely in my top 3, surpassed only by the Sacred Stones version (the best) and the Shadows of Valentia version (the second best)
