Thank you, I just got the kit on my 740. Had to pull off a bearing because there is a splash plate covering the bolts. What a shit🤬. And had to buy a rattle gun. There was no way to get those bolts off without one. Still got to get it back in the car. Going to put in new bearings. One of them was pitted. For anyone interested I will reply to this comment how it feels to drive. I am booked in for my first track day ever in a couple of weeks
Love love love your vids I have 93 Volvo 940 , boost controller, 3inch side exit pipe turbo back no cat one cherry bomb to side downpipe, 50 trim maxpeeding röds t3 t4 turbo, blow off valve on hot side , 3inch intake ,4bar fuel pressure regulator, ngk plug wires running 15lbs boost until I get chipped ECU or go standalone, also wanna throw in Ford Thunderbird Injectors browntop. Keep up good work, not sure what HP I'm throwing down but she'll scoot, got so much more I wanna do.
Your pronunciation of the spacer discs is correct. The English spelling for that sound is "sh". Hence "shims". As for the axle movement, take the diff cover off and see what is moving in the diff when you push the axle in and out.
Been using it in a 500nM diesel bimmer, they work for what they're intended for, loose gravel/snow & ice, and goes totally sideways there. And without any of the issues of welded diff (understeer mainly) You don't want to be flogging it "on the dry" though, will blow up spider gears.

I.e, a key piece of information for a lot of people looking into said kit, information which I readily provided, entirely at my own time and expense, not to mention risk to my vehicle. I had same problems installing a quaife. At the end I took out the LSD so I adjust it several times but after some use, the play appear again

i watch a guy put one in a BMW and he had to mill 4mm off the ends of the axle shafts
