    Hi! Great review. Proton owner and former Proton Service Advisor here. I currently drive an Iriz 1.6, previously owned the original Saga VVT. I honestly miss that car, I would've kept it if it wasn't for the unstable nature of its CVT, which has been greatly improved on my Iriz. I really recommend new car buyers to get the Saga, especially in its current form. Spacious enough, quite reliable, easy to maintain, comfortable and fun to drive.
    Just a slight correction, current Protons, are no longer tuned by Lotus, and it hasnt been so since the Suprima S if I'm not wrong. However, they are tuned by Proton Ride and Handling team, which are VERY capable in their own right having learned from Lotus over the years. They may no longer be tuned by Lotus, but the essence is still there!

      Thank you for the comment! Really happy to see someone liked my super low budget review haha.
      Regarding the Saga MC2 with Lotus handling remark.
      From what my Sifus / technicians said, since the Saga VVT (first version of the MC2) which was released on 2016 before the year Geely took Proton and therefore Proton still owned Lotus. Not only that but the chassis of the Saga VVT/MC2 is just a slightly extended version of the Saga BLM which was tuned by Lotus.
      So, technically, we could say that the Saga MC2 has a chasis originally tuned by Lotus but also later improved by Protons ride and handling.
      Also in my opinion, and majority I talk to, Saying the handling is tuned by Lotus sounds more interesting when taking about the Saga hahaha.
      So there's no right or wrong actually.

      No worries, glad I helped you with your purchase decision. Yeah I agree! If the Axia E has a central lock and trunk release lever it would be perfect.

      Central lock and trunk release for Axia E I dont think this was the issue as we can install it via accessories shop with just about Rm200 - 300. For me, the Axia E main let down points is no ABS or ESC system☹。

      @@SameSame-gv8ln Yeah but it's already an inconvenience to go after market to some so it's still considered an issue. Plus we won't know how long will the after market parts last, a single original lock assembly from Perodua for one door already cost 95MYR.

    Hi,got any minor or major problem before? Tq🙏🏼

      erm, for minor issues when we first collected the car from the showroom there was a squeaky noise coming from the front passenger side fender, so the technician has to adjust it. Then at 30,000KM another squeaky sound appeared but this time due to a cable being loosed in the front passenger side door.
      The only major issue it had was that at 20,000KM there was an oil leak due to the oil sump not being sealed properly from the factory so it has to be resealed which took two days at the service center.
      Another issue I had but not yet resolved because the technician couldn't see the issue was the trip computer randomly resetting itself. Like a few times i noticed the trip A and trip B was reseted back to 0km when I start the car.
      That's from me lah, but some people at the Saga FB page also had issues with the fan belt bearing pulley being noisy and squeaky so they had to change the noisy squeaking bearing and pulley.

    Heard that this car aircon fast cool because it has a bigger compressor

    • @ethansrandomvideos6312
      @ethansrandomvideos6312  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@felixgoh7414 Compared to the older Saga BLM models it actually has a smaller compressor for better fuel efficiency. It was very noticeable when we first got this Saga MC2 after switching from a Saga BLM haha. But maybe when comparing to other brands it is, can confirm that the air cond is much cooler than the Axia E.
