I would add on Subtitles in future, thanks for the suggestion! The Hyundai one actually has shortened ratios compared to the ones used by Hyundai themselves as the VVT Proton engines are high revvers, but yes the ratio is definitely longer than the MT units which contributes to quite decent fuel economy. However the new Aisin units feels different, though I have to sample one properly.

There will be more reviews and etc soon, your support and comments mean a lot! 🙏 It's a shame we don't get higher speced MT units, because that Getrag gearbox is consistently one of the better MT units in the market. And suits these high-envving engines so much better than the CVTs and 4ATs!
@@WhySilverSpiritAuto The latest saga mc2 no longer uses getrag unit, but zhuzhou from china. It is significantly better than getrag due to its short shifting feels. The getrag unit in saga is also vary from the preve, persona, iriz which share the same unit. Saga has a rubberier feel, while the one on preve and so on is better, but not as good as the china gearbox.
@l.k.y.6929 does this zhuzhou gearbox have same gearing ratio, or different from the getrag unit? Also I keep wondering why the Proton's MT units kept having short gearing. Except for Preve and 2014 iriz Edit: Waiting for more uploads from you 🙏
Completely stock. What's impressive is that gearbox did not even have gear number selection, but the logic is impressive for enthusiasts, plus in S, it holds on to gears. When and in D, going uphill it holds on, plus it can block shift, like 4th to 2nd, and also below 70kmh when you release the throttle, it goes into coasting mode, disconnecting the gear to save fuel and let it roll smoothly!
what a lovely car for the price, i drove one and a bezza and the difference is night and day. Would definitely go for saga + manual 💪🏻
They are stopping production very soon, so get while you can!
