  • How to do clutch control in under 12 minutes www.driving-school-beckenham....
If you're learning how to drive a manual car, then trying to understand clutch control can be a bit mind boggling but also an essential part of being able to drive a manual car successfully. It can also be one of, if not the hardest parts of learning to drive a manual car. But you'll get a great sense of achievement and control over the car once mastered.
Learning to drive a manual car can be a bit of pain during your first driving lessons. But give it a chance and you'll hopefully find it REALLY fun once you get to grips with it. Like most things, it just takes a bit of time and practice.

Downshift is perfect everytime with perfect amout of gas blip and heal and toe technic without even thinking how😀. Its amazing what time does. In the last 2 months switched to DCT gearbox and im more then pleased but sometimes is nice to make a fun weekend drive on a manual.

I stalled twice during traffic. I hope that I’ll get a lot better soon and quick because I’m going to have to drive it to school from now on.

this video is great, I have my driving lessons in a diesel but I bought a car for my own that's a petrol. sometimes i still struggle with moving off because i've been thought to clutch then gas in the diesel car. With my own car it almost always makes me stall. i try to get used to pressing the gas first but i really struggle when its a hill or even a small incline cause in belgium they apparently don't teach you to do hill starts with your handbrake but only with your foot brake.

For begginers i recommend clutch to the bitting point firdt then add gas why? Because when your just starting to leard to drive manual it is very hard to add gas first just like me. As begginer you most likely over rev the engine and fir sure in uphill you'll always move backward before going forward because you're still familiarizing the clutch bitting point. When ifirst starting to leard how to drive i gave up on gas first then chise cluth to the bitting point then gas, it's easier even in uphill no stalling for me, but months later in driving when my clutch control is improved i noticed i can do gas first because i gained muscle memory on my clutch. So for begginers i recommend clutch first that way you will not stall at the same time familiaring your clutch in the process..
I din't say clutch firts is better gas first is better that way you can drive all manual trransmission without stalling, but if driving your own car its better clutch first, gas first will come naturally in time.

Yo, I did not know the clutch controls speed under 5mph! This helps so much on junctions that I just need to slow down on, and not stop. As I found using the break and clutch so hard I didn’t know I could effectively use the clutch like a break, I did on a tight turn going to a blind turn give way line as I noticed the car slowed down, at a slow speed, when the clutch was going down more hmmmm interesting!

That's fantastic to hear! I'm glad that the videos have helped ease your nerves about starting your driving lessons. Learning at your own pace and getting familiar with the basics through videos can be a great way to build confidence. When you do start your lessons, remember that it's okay to be a bit nervous at first - that's perfectly normal. Take it step by step, and you'll find yourself becoming a confident driver in no time. Good luck with your future lessons and happy driving when the time comes! 👍
