That is the Accra to Tema line. It has always been there from Nkrumah's time. It is an on and off thing. They are not able to keep it running all the time.

Kenyans (especially Luhyas) and Zimbabweans are very similar people.
Mbuya Nehanda was a Zimbabwean female leader of the uprising against British settlers in the 1890s, a Spirit Medium of the Shona people. Mbuya means Grandma in English. A spirit medium is someone who intercedes between ancestors (the departed) and human beings. Anyway, it's part of African spirituality. In Asia, there are many cultures which revere ancestors as well, for example in Hong Kong, China and South Korea.

Been in Nairobi and Mombasa for almost a month now, and yeah Nairobi gives a lot of Harare vibes. Kenyans are super hard working, i am beyond impressed. As a Zimbabwean from travelling a bit regionally and internationally i can safely say Zim has great potential, its not many years from now before we see our country shine. Those who will see my comment in 2030 will understand what i meant.

The welcome in Zim is so real.... honestly if intermigration in Africa was made a little easier..I would retire there ...saving for a return trip....a week was too short for me....
If properly planned, there are some Zimparks (Zimbabwe Parks) low cost or subsidised accommodation at most resort areas, which help when travelling on a tight budget .

That book by Norman Vincent Pearl is a good one to read. If you had visited Zimbabwe in the 1980 & 1990’s, you would have been more amazed about the country in terms of the number of whites & tourists. Still, Zimbabwe is a beautiful country to visit & so enjoy your visit despite your regret being there alone

I'm a Ghanaian in Edmonton, Canada. I'ma tell u this. Whenever u come to Canada, don't just stay in Toronto, Ontario, go to Montreal and Quebec City in Quebec. Both Montreal and Quebec City are breathtaking. Also, try to visit Edmonton and Calgary Alberta.
