Love the part about one’s happiness being their own responsibility and not the partner’s…Once I decided to stop complaining about less serious issues in my marriage, I noticed I became happier. Sometimes I’m seething with rage because I so want to complain but i find once I let it pass, it doesn’t even bother me anymore or linger. Clearly it couldn’t have been that serious. That said, I’m a firm believer that important issues need to be thrashed to avoid unnecessary bitterness building up! No matter how long you have been dating, even the man is from your culture, girl the first 5 years of marriage is a slippery challenge. I am so glad you addressed this, Trudy. I seen the original video and at no time did I ever think that things were bad between you and Maya. But there are people that want to gain views for their channels and this is the way that they can do it so they take little snippets of what you have said And twisted it is an expression of a narrative they want and they continue to foster gossip. Every relationship has it and wonderful points and challenges. That doesn’t mean that things are going downhill. And if there was a challenge that is harder to deal with then it’s not our business to tell the narrative as if the narrative is true. Love the part about one’s happiness being their own responsibility and not the partner’s…Once I decided to stop complaining about less serious issues in my marriage, I noticed I became happier. Sometimes I’m seething with rage because I so want to complain but i find once I let it pass, it doesn’t even bother me anymore or linger. Clearly it couldn’t have been that serious. That said, I’m a firm believer that important issues need to be thrashed to avoid unnecessary bitterness building up! I also realize my husband is not doing them intentionally and is almost always clueless about things I think are serious. So if they’re things I can live with, I’m leaving them alone!

I am so glad you addressed this, Trudy. I seen the original video and at no time did I ever think that things were bad between you and Maya. But there are people that want to gain views for their channels and this is the way that they can do it so they take little snippets of what you have said And twisted it is an expression of a narrative they want and they continue to foster gossip. Every relationship has it and wonderful points and challenges. That doesn’t mean that things are going downhill. And if there was a challenge that is harder to deal with then it’s not our business to tell the narrative as if the narrative is true.
