Yo Mr Random, I'm stationed in Germany (USAF), and I had my 05 Crown Vic P71 shipped over here. There are absolutely NO Crown Vics in Germany, and the local Germans are constantly complimenting the Vic, it's so funny how rare they are here!
My 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis handles way better too when I modified the suspension. The front is all p71 with Detroit Eaton lowering springs in the front that lowers It 2 in and Moog rear springs #C501 ('70-'72 Chevelle) that drops the rear 1.5 inches. It also has American Racing 17"×8" wheels front and back with semi-metallic break pads. Cost me almost $2000 and everything installed in a few hours
Uh, 2002- Panthers absolutely can handle very well, EVEN with the gearbox steering...We can get many of the same suspension mods as the '03+ Panthers however coilovers and willwood brakes as far as I know is not one of them. I modified my old '85 Crown vic with custom springs, Police antisway bars, Koni Adjustable shocks, big brakes, 16" cop steelies, Toyo tires and poly bushings and it made a HUGE difference in handling and if it had more power it could have easily held it's own against new cars.
I have a 2003 and those sway bars and links are very tempting. Right now I have a handful of other things to take care of but soon i'll be upgrading the handling :)
Would be nice to hear him talk about wheel and tire upgrades, since that makes a HUGE difference on handling too. You don't have to go crazy, but I say toss the OEM 15" steel, tall-profile grandma wheels and go with maybe a 17" wheel with maybe 235/55R17 Michelin Pilot All Season Sport tires. I have those tires on my Audi and they grip like crazy while still being quiet, and have a 50,000 mile warranty. Awesome tires. About $130 per tire. No reason to go more low-profile than 55 series tires, especially on a Panther car (Mercury Marquis/Ford Crown Victoria/Lincoln Towncar).

Would be great if you put a link to these product in your description area. Would also love a budget wheel choice videos for the later Panthers with the wider track requiring unique offset wheels.
I have 2001 grand marquis, can I just swap it out for a rack and pinion ? Had a 240sx for the last 10 years as my drift car…. Now I have the grand marquis now. Already did the 5 speed swap
No, the frame was designed differently. I also have a 99 and I'm not trying to drift it, but the steering is fine for messing around, but if you want steering for an actual drift setup you'll want a rack and pinion frame car

Your harness bar does nothing, because it has Hime joints which allow movement! If it was solid welded I could see a very small improvement. Your rear seat bar is a good setup.
I see that you have a brace where the rear seats would be, is that a custom bit or a mustang part? and does it make a appreciable difference, my 2011 CV with ADTR front and rear sway bars and ride-tech coil-overs and 265 PS4S tires feels really good however frame flex is becoming the limiting factor with pushing the car, i want to keep most if not all of the livability

Some Panthers have NO Sway-Bar at all. The absolute CHEAPEST upgrade to the cornering and handling of ANY vehicle is to dump the RUBBER Sway-Bar bushings and install URETHANE Bushings in their place. The famous 95 MERC runs an ADDCO 25 mm Sway Bar in the rear, with Urethane Bushings all around -- perfect for long-distance, high-speed touring of the deserts and mountains of the American West.
Lol yeah that's normal. It's the catalytic converter and maybe the exhaust pipes and muffler cooling down. The metal expands when it's hot and then when it cools down it goes back to normal. If you don't have any other issues, it's normal.

A rack and pinion steering is so much better than the old steering box setup the rack and pinion as very little free play then the box

its a STEEDA rear X brace from mustang. it Helps with weight distribution and stiffening the rear
