I feel like everyone who has taken greyhound has a horror story it’s pretty comical how we all share that common experience
Bruh, I took a greyhound bus last May although it was only from NYC to Philly, the trip wasn’t bad though.
3 hours at night could do without any complaints. Once I get to 5+ (which is took nearly 7.5 for Pittsburgh) that’s pushing the limit for me haha
Went NY to LA as a kid in the early 60's. No fond memories of that trek
That must have been brutal 😭
You should try overnight bus services in Japan. You definitely won't regret it.
Are they supposed to be really nice?
@@landonkissellYep, saw videos about private cabins that lock from the outside as well.
Smaller capacity sure, but yet another thing the US needs to invest in.
I never rode a greyhound or any other bus out of town unless it was a private charter trip. It seems bit scary
Lmao so valid
I took the Greyhound from Indianapolis In to Akron OH in 97. That was during the day and that was bad enough. Don't take the Greyhound if you can afford it
Last sentence is spot on. I will take any other form of transportation
***or other companies
Im taking one wed from port auth to portland oregon 77 hr trip
Oh wow that is going to be LONGGG. I’m hoping it goes well!!
I just hope my transfers are on time and get their i have lil $ to make it their and that worrys me :/
@@roocky2000 I am wishing you the best of luck! Are the transfer times close?
@@landonkissell 1-2hrs first two busses greyhound then last two flix bus
@@roocky2000 knowing greyhound often runs late, i I am wishing you good luck! Good thing is that if you miss it, they will put you on the next available one though
i hope you got the experience of dropping a fat loaf while cruising down the road at 75
Bro what 😭
Well we used to have Greyhound AND TrailWays
didn't even know we had multiple companies. hopefully megabus will be able to compete with greyhound moving forward to force greyhound to have to improve
yeah the seats suck uncomfortable and the Wi-Fi sucks it limits you to 100mb but says free WiFi on bored
the wifi is did not work one bit. and my charger for my phone did not work either :(
This is madness. I would have recommended hitchhiking. It's safer, you spend time with interesting serial killing types, and a lot more comfortable
Hitchhiking is crazy haha. Don’t think I’ll ever be doing that
brave man
Haha thanks
8:00 yes we smokers do need to stop at least every couple hours
so do you all just not fly then?
@@landonkissell not with the price of airfare in Canada lol
@@CoreyHaynes-f1h fair enough
Greyhound alot to deal with took a couple long overnight trips many actually one from nyc to Miami 36 hours
Wow, you took it nyc to Miami? I couldn’t imagine being on it for a day and a half. That must have been brutal. It would have driven me crazy
@@landonkissell it wasn’t too bad a guy at the port authority told me I should’ve flown heck I once took the bus with my son mom from Tampa to Houston Texas long as hell
@@AbdulColey oh wow, how long did that journey take?
@@landonkissell like over 40 hours way back before flixbus purchased greyhound
@@AbdulColey 40 hours is crazy! Wow that’s impressive not going crazy after being stuck on a bus that long haha
Engine on bus is in the back😂😂😂😂😂
only contributes to the noise tbh
I’m taking this bus tomorrow night lol
How was it im taking one on Friday
@ it was fine didn’t have any delays. I was lucky my route only stopped at Newark and Philly b4 Pitt
How did it go?
How did it go for you?
And wait never mind I see your response now. Glad that it went smoothly and you did not have any delays! Smooth easy route Newark to Philly
My dad and I would travel from Lafayette Indiana all the way to McAllen Tx when I was a kid in 2006, so many people looked like “rappers” lmao it was wild but I only remember the bud lady was a total bitch but looking back she had to be with the crowd on that bus. Good thing I had my gameboy to distract me
Engine is in back wizard
Wdym?
Six minutes into this and he isn't on the bus yet. I quit! Bye, everybody.
I put chapters so you can see when I get on the bus so you can know what part to skip ahead to :)
@@landonkissell that's okay, some people are narcissistic and like to grandstand 😂😂😂
Why would you lie? Port Authority is a horrible scary place 😂😂
lmao it is in a convenient location but yeah not a great place to be (or wait for your bus)
I prefer Amtrak more than Greyhound.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Agreed!
started the video negative, knew right from the start you wouldn't like it.... Probably just too young and been too pampered.
I felt like I started it positive. The clips in the begin was footage from the actual ride so it included it as a little preview. I think criticism is valid through my experience (as well as I have never heard anyone praise greyhound before haha)
Another kid with little travel experience as a TH-cam travel vlogger.
Ghetto on wheels owned by stockholders living in Scotland. That is what my reaearch says.
I think that’s pretty harsh. Not ideal conditions but at least it (sometimes) gets you where you need to go
Greyhound has sucked for years.
They need to get their act together
Whiny millennial. I don't think you're cut out for any type of travel. Travel is adventure and rolling with the punches. Try the Marrakesh train in North Africa sometime. Pop your hipster cherry.
I would love to go on a train through Morocco one day. Seems like it would be a great way to see all the sites! But considering I just went to central america solo as a teenager sleeping in tents some nights, I think I’m very well cut out for all types of travel😁
A cool 😎 way to travel 🧳
It is certainly A way to travel
If you have a female driver expect to be treated like a pos. It was 2:30 in the afternoon and she demanded a whisper. I was already on 6 hours and with an empty bus I was the only one sitting next to another with plentlt empty double seats. Normally they dont mind ppl spreading out adter check in/ seat check but she was a B. Luckly my neighbor was a smaller person like me and very smart and sweet, plus pretty. We talked for 8 hours.
She threatened many times we could be heard by others but we were literally leaning on each other loud whispering over the road noise. I would have moved to any empty row but my neigjbor almost turned up on her at the start and I was like its ok we need this ride both of us on emergency.
Long story short after 2 hours we said fuck her n talked quietly for 8 hours and we shared life trials and stories.
People never said a thing but the guy in front if us snorted so loud every 30 seconds we were gunna loose it if we could just be humans.
Awrsome tale and we are now friends!
that is a wild story!😅
