Nice video and example! Thanks for calling out that with success or failure it can trigger reactions. I made this mistake a few times before realizing it. How its Played also has a nice video on just that piece.

      Thanks Ravenspath!
It's caught one of my groups up as well! I said it a few time because it's easy to miss and on mentioned in the failure condition which I think causes confusion. I really like How It's Played, the channel is one of my inspirations for this one!

I started playing a Swashbuckler this month and I have never used Tumble Through more in my life. I do wish a crit would maybe add +5 movement or ignore the difficult terrain. Just a little something for being really good at tumbling.

      Thanks for the comment!
That would be nice! I always think of those things when I come across a check that does not have a crit condition but then there is no critical failure as well!

Great and clear examples - thanks. I was wondering though, what if the ice golem was already occupying difficult terrain?

Now that is an excellent question! This would make an excellent conversation as I can't find a specific rule in the books but by P2e convention I do not think they stack.
Greater Difficult Terrain (Player Core pg 423 and GM Core pg 36) does exist and costs an additional 10 feet of movement rather than 5, but rules-as-written I would say that they do not stack as conditions in P2E of the same type generally don't unless they explicitly say they do in general. But by Rule of Cool or Home Rules, you absolutely could.
Difficult Terrain is a condition and you should apply the worst condition, since they're the same the terrain it would still be difficult. I like to think of it like this. If I'm trying to walk through heavy underbrush... I'm already walking carefully and slowly. Then someone freezes the ground... the DC might change but I'm already walking as carefully as I can so I can't walk more carefully.
Greater Difficult Terrain has a few examples starting on page 90 through 92 in GM Core under Environment like Ocean currents, walking on the ocean floor, heavy undergrowth, hedge fences, Urban crowds but I could not find a reference to stacking Difficult terrain.

Yes - on reflection your take is how I think it should be@@slystrategist

So it's really a movement penalty - and as one is already moving carefully in this instance I don't think they stack.

@@dylanhyatt5705 That is how I read it and I did a bit of reading this morning on the Paizo forums and P2E reddit and that seems to be the main thought on how it would work. I wish it was a bit more explicit in the books but I can see that you can't put every specific example in a book if you didn't want to make a book!

    I have 2 questions.
    1. What module allows you to pull up the actions like that?
    2. Can mobility be used with tumble through to avoid reactive strike? At least if you don't fail your tumble through.

Hey, what module do you use for Combat Order at the top, and automatically calculate difficult terrain when moving into another creature square?

So, the combat order I use is Carousel Combat Tracker:
      www.foundryvtt-hub.com/package/combat-tracker-dock/
and I believe the movement is handled by PF2E Workbench?

One thing that we've had come up a lot is the fact that I can't find any rule that requires you to move in a straight line while tumbling through. So you can tumble north into the enemy's space then exit the space to the west. Using this, it's possible to successfully "tumble through" a larger creature without having enough movement to go all the way through it or tumble through a creature that's standing in a corner, for example. I'm actually a little curious if I'm reading it wrong, so please let me know if that's not true.

Thanks for the comment and the reminder!
Yup, I think you're reading it correctly. It is just a stride action ("You Stride up to your Speed. During this movement, you can try to move through the space of one enemy"...) with a little flair so you can use any movement line you could use with a regular stride action. Each square would be difficult terrain for 10 feet subtracted but you can just clip a corner or you can even tumble through to your same starting spot if it would only require one tumble through action (i.e. one creature) and you are doing it to gain panache.
