When he turned left at Eau Rouge in 1934 I had a mini heart attack 😂
Same. That quick right left at 2:15 really caught me off guard. I would've nailed that for sure.
Seeing him turn left at Eau Rouge was very strange indeed 😂😂😂
You can still walk round that bit
And that is the real eau rogue and not raidillon
That 60s Lotus is awesome! So fast but very fragile. At high speed track like Spa or Monza, you went off, you were dead!
Haha yes it just shows how brave these drivers really were
That's an auto union, by the look of the bodywork, a streamlined. Odd as they weren't built in 1934
@@darencross1835yes, nowadays called Audi.
At that time Spa didn't have the escape track on the Eau Rouge, so if the driver lost control there he would go straight on the wall.
@@Dirtcowboy95whats crazy is eau rouge wasnt even the corner drivers feared the most on this track
No downforce, no abs... just a huge set of balls.
Wow
its a video game
I mean F1 cars still don't have ABS.
nigga were talking about 1960s@@imchromeplayer3310
no shit he's referring to real drivers@@imchromeplayer3310
The sound of that Lotus from the 60s was epic. 👍
the true sound of F1 is that old 2000s "insanity test" webpage that eventually became the "crazy frog" ringtone
The Engine Sound is truly Awesome.
The Vehicle looks like an Absolute Handfull however.
That Growl ... sensational
Talking about the 1st car 🚗.
We all know how good the 2000 period was .
Those utility poles near the track in the 1930's and 60's would be disconcerting if one crashed into them, but also the houses and buildings at trackside too.
Eau Rouge is simply the most amazing piece of road racing track in the world, with Laguna Seca's cork screw second to it.😎👍
Oh, I dunno ... We're talking 1A and 1B. And after Alex Zanardi's pass for position they took some of the fun out of the 'screw!
the camera movements is giving me whiplash!
Oh god, in fairness there is a little to much movement 😬
@@Gootekare you Irish?
Forget the 2022...the sound of true Formula 1 is the 2000. Period
Agreed, the best era for Formula 1 in my opinion
No more supercharged engines for Formula 1...
for me Is the 1989
V10 one love
The 1995 Ferrari 412 T2 with its 3 litre V12. No other F1 engine has sounded better, before or since.
The iconic sound of F1 engine have gone😭😭
R.I.P Classic F1 Engines😭😭

after all updates and improvements, assetto corsa now reminds shift unleashed, this dynamic, physics interaction and tire adherence behavior is much more realistic than the first version
Yeah, agreed
You’re seriously comparing AC to an NFS title? NFS is 100% arcade - there isn’t the slightest inkling of proper simulator anywhere in that entire farcical series.
@@F-Man man its just an opinion chill out
@@joins16 He’s entitled to his opinion - I’m entitled to say he’s an idiot.
@@joins16 you gave a thought and the man almost bombarded your house LOL
Beautiful. Thanks a lot for the point view. 😍
Glad you liked it
I couldn't imagine it to be *that* difficult to navigate the track.
Now imagine having electricity lines (posts) alongside the track in today's motorsports!
Such a great era.
Amazing! Congrats for the channel! 👏
Thanks appreciate it!
I love Real Head Motion, too. Fun video!
How the hell did Bernd Rosemeyer drive 1930s car roughly 450 km/h... He must be the bravest guy who ever sat in a cockpit
What the.. 450 kmh in the 1930s? How?
@@doihavetomakeaname9777 probably car speed wasnt realistic,of course cars back then couldnt even reach 250km/h
@@harrycop7944 You should have looked it up, before commenting. Those streamlined cars were able to go over 400 no problem. Rosemeyer himself died in a recordattempt in that car too, when the wind blew the car off the road, and he went in to the woods at over 400.
@@akuma2534 I didn't believe it and looked it up, seems like it's true. Amazing how such old cars could go that fast without all the technology we have today.
@@doihavetomakeaname9777 cars in 1930s to 1950s never go above 250kph man.
Great video bro! from 🇧🇷 the snoring of that 80's Lotus gave me goosebumps! 💀🥵
Ahh thanks for the suppor!😁😁
Spa scares the hell out of me. Always has and always will.
The great thing about tracks that go many years at a time without change, is that you get a real good comparison of cars evolution in speed over time.
Like when Prost set a lap record in 1993, it took 8 years to beat it. absolute combination of driver, car and regulations.
my favorite version of this track is the 1982 - 2003 (minus 1994)
The slop in the steering wheel of that first car😮
Amazing!
That 1934 guy was insane
why is the camera angle leaning to the opposide side of the corner? does the drive not have neck muscles? :D
1966 & 2022 my favourites!
2000 are much better.
i feel like the old eau rouge was more to the left and alot sharper its now just a slight bend
Yeah possibly but then again the new cars have more down force so they can take eau rouge quicker
It was a lot tighter. The 1960s Eau Rouge/Raidillon complex hugged what’s more or less the run-off area of the modern day version. You can still see pieces of the original retaining wall, and that’s a good guide to give you an idea of where the corner used to be.
@@mcrichton46 Oh right, fair enough
The proximity of houses and telephone poles to the old track is very scary
Fun fact: Officialy the Eau rouge doesen't exist science 1939. That year was the Raidillon build to make the track faster, and the eau rouge and the hairpin after that (L'ancienne douane) was removed, and that new left kink witch is the remaining part of the o.g. corner officialy just part of Raidillon.
288 km/h in 1934. 😳😳😳😳
Guy's gotta be crazy, I wouldn't exceed 100 with such steering system
the evolution of the downforce and grip is maniac.
Nice vid bro
Thanks man, appreciate the support!! :)
In 1934, the cars where able to go almost as fast as modern F1s, but, only on a very long straight. Driving them on dry roads was like driving on ice.
1966 This one take those wide arcs at about 100Km/h faster than the 1934 car.
Would be interesting to have all of those cars race the same track. Make it the 2022 track of the 1966 track.
Talk about long gears… 180 kph in 1st gear 0_0
those cars where completely nuts and could actually go faster than modern F1 cars in a long straight because they where tiny and had no aerodynamic for downforce to speak of. so much less drag at higher speeds. with..well...tires you would put on a modern city scooter.
Hermoso ver los distintos trazados y estilos de conducción según pasaron los años..
2022 Carlos para pole 8va marcha entrando en orruge..☝☝
Yeahh agreed👍
I love 1966 dashboar view
The sound of that 60's lotus is similiar to a b series vtec haha!
The car sounds like a lorry 😂. I love how clear the graphics are. Which software do you use?

@@jayko2k Game - Assetto Corsa
1930' remember this format for nurburngring, more fast and long!
60's and 80's hands down the best.
has anyone ever noticed how spa is shaped like an AK?
At least I’m not mad
I always thought it looked like an UZI
Or MP 7
FANTASTIC . F1 SHOULD HAVE 1 TRACK (SPA) THAT REALLY TESTS CARS & DRIVERS . WITH A FEW SUBTLE CHANGES FOR THE HEALTH & SAFETY FREAKS SPA IS IT . MASSIVE RUN OFF AREAS ETC . MODERN F1 CARS ARE TOO POWERFUL FOR THESE CENTURYS OLD TRACKS . SPA IS THE NEAREST WE HAVE TO A DECENT BALL BREAKER . IT COULD BE F1 MEETS LE MANS - WOW , IM IN .
I guess some cars from 1934, such as bus and station wagon at 0:32, are not historical accurate.
1980s and 2000s are my Favorite.
Was this footage recorded in a motion rig? the way the vision drops down when breaking looks like that
Nah, it's just an in-game feature👍
@@Gootek what feature is that ? Thanks.
@@WayneIrish Neck Fx, an option from Custom Shaders Patch
Brave SOB’s. 💪
"I'm going fast momma!"
What's with the broken neck effect?
Most obvious observation is how much easier the cars are to drive now
Good. I just miss some cars between 1934 and 1966. That was a big leap/step forward. But frpm 1980's that was not that much of a difference. Yes, there was something but not as much, as from the early 90's up to 1980. ;)
2020’s cars are ridiculous, absolutely nutella
2022 F1 V12 is crazily fast
Would’ve been cool to see the post-Senna re-route before Eau Rouge.
Oh yeah🤦♂️

2022: How Squirrels See themselves
If that 60s Lotus had modern slicks on it, I wonder how it would handle?
Possibly better, but I don't think it would be able to get them up to temperature
I wouldn't fancy trying to arm wrestle a racing driver in the '30's.
I don't remember where, but I heard that the 60's drivers said that their cars were coffins with wheels
Para mi es musica todos los motores hasta l era híbrida pero el del 2000 es una sinfonía para mis oídos...
Realistically I think racing drivers in the 30s didn’t downshift into 1st unless they were lugging in 2nd
Ah, my neck!
when you read about the old track you think it's so cool with those long straights but when you imagine driving/racing there it is kind of tedious tbh
Fangio won all those championships wearing a T-shirt and Jockey's helmet.🤣
Gefühlt ist da eine wachsweiche Gummiwelle im Lenkgestänge verbaut.
The telephone poles must have been fantastic for slowing cars down if they went of
*💚SENNA'S JPS LOTUS💛*

Fantastic!!!!
Thanks bro😁😁
The main difference isn't speed it's danger. The 1970s cars and earlier where kinetic coffins.
Veniamos bien con el sonido hasta... V6 hibrid... 🙉🙉🙉
jeeeeeez if I was a wealthy Qatari or Saudi, I would definitely offer to buy this whole area, use the 1966 track but cut the raidillon and let them use the 1937's loop and organize 24h of Franchorchamps on this good old legendary track. and let the F1 using the actual track . that could be epic
Superbe mais j'aimerais quelques infos .
Version de Assetto Corsa et version pc ou PS4 ?
Et pour les anciennes versions du circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, ou les trouver?
Merci
regarde le descriptif de la vidéo...
I like 👍🏽
Thanks mate👍
the first car (Auto Union 1937 Car?) Looks incredibly hard to tame
Yeah, it's a bit of a challenge actually😅
If only they could make those downshifts sound better in AC in the V10 and modern f1 car. They just sound so unlike IRL and it just sounds like there's no effort in it
В 34ом году с такой скоростью не одна машина не ездила
2022, so sad! 😢
That will be happened while you play racing with joypad... The tires goes dance left left left roght right right... ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
what assetto corsa is this?
real head motion 4 real? dude
Whats the extact diffrence between the 2000's circuit and 2022 circuit?
The chicane at the end is diffent and ther is more run off
60’s drivers were a different class, gladiators
If 2000s had extra gear like 2022, top speed would be as good. 314 vs 330 9.92 MPH diff and 2000s was near rev limiter.
2000s 7 gears/2022 8 gears
Never mind about the top speed of the 1930s car, the real question is how the heck could it reach almost 200 kph IN FIRST GEAR!?
2022 I can't see where I'm going because there is a pole in the way.
The amount of grip this guy had for the whole first lap was zero.
the horizon tilt makes me nauseous
Shifting has changed a little bit..
Man, what's with u steering at spa 1934. It makes me worring too much. Do u use a mouse? Really, i, as player of ACC, can't see this car driving. It makes my heart hurt.
That 1st gear its so long
would the 1934 car have really been that difficult to keep straight even allowing for the very skinny and wooden tyres?
Am i the only one who mainly cares about eau rouge and raidillon
Meh, i think the difference between some of the years is huge overall
MP4/17
At 13:49 end the video for me
That old merc looks so so hard to drive. And F1 drivers of today think its too dangerous to drive in rain? They don't know what danger is.
Agreed, the drivers from back in the days were so brave compared to modern days
@@Gootek but that’s the evolution, people need safe and exciting competition
The people back then also didn't know what danger was. All they cared about was speed, not safety.
