It probably is my favorite part of the hobby. For sure, I like making minis and playing games with my friends but just sitting down and trying to piece something new and more interesting together is so satisfying. Thanks for watching.
Great video, you've done exactly what I did with all my sons seraphon start collecting, but took it one step further great idea casting the body, looks much better than just the head, spine and tail sticking out of the water
Looks awesome! Just watched the whole Seraphon Start Collecting series since I got a box for Christmas! I’m sure this will come in handy when I get around to building them. Thanks!
I've just com here to say that this video appeared on my feed and the thumbnail made me think, just for a moment, that someone had put a knitted cardigan on an Iguana.
@@brianshobbyspace3569 She is drying right now. I used blue stuff for the mold and got the tail as well so just the feet are not there. I think I used too much toilet paper but my son says it looks fine. :)
funny enough, i just found this video today well after i went through the hassle of making a mold out of greenstuff to get a spare troglodon. It was a messy affair piecing him together and i abandoned the arms and legs altogether to have him rising from mud covered in plants and such.
Thank you very much for the kind words. I am currently filming a frog water video. I think I release that and the painting the trog as two separate videos. Stay tuned.
Any thoughts on how to use the Saraphon Battleforce Starclaw Strikehost with the SC Seraphon box? Really nice to see how we get 2x dinos out of the Carnosaur stuff.
Hello, I haven't ever seen that box before. But, by the looks of it I would think you could easily make a skink priest with the extra bastilidon and terradon riders. Also that box has two foot heroes in it so for the newest GHB you would be in a good position. I would make the old blood on carnosaur and bastilidon with solar engine.
Sorry I miss wrote “old blood on carnosaur” I meant to write Scar-vet on carnosaur. Also, if you found this box for a reasonable price then you are one lucky person. Great looking box.
The chemicals in the cement actually melt the plastic that sprues and miniatures are made of... so when you use it to `glue` things together they are actually melting and becoming 1 piece. By mixing some little bits of sprue into the cement it becomes a slurry of melted sprue and cement. When applied to a model the cement portion evaporates leaving behind a smooth plastic filling in the gaps that you used it on. It really works great.
I believe so, yes. As long as you use GW parts and hand make the rest it should be alright. If you use 3D printed pieces or bits of dinosaur toys then I think that wouldn't be admissible. I would ask around at a local store if you have one to double check all this. They would probably have a better understanding of tournaments than I do.
@@twigius5690 that sounds like a fun idea. Only problem is that I am not sure what a discord is nor how to make one lol. It's some kind of chatting system? I will check it out.

Thanks for this series of videos. This sort of resourceful hobbying to maximise the most of spare parts is what is so awesome about this hobby.

Merry Christmas. It is a great box but the knights are a pretty difficult mini to make. Lots of gaps. Good luck and enjoy.

a knitted cardigan on an iguana!? That is brilliant. I want to rrpsint this guy. That would be an hilarious paint scheme for Seraphon.
I just finished this, thank you for the video!!!

I really like that someone has made these videos. Thanks Brian!
Are you planning a painting video of how you will paint your seraphon?
Yes. I started a video about skinks but stopped... currently planning to show the painting the base water. may do a seperate video about the trog.
Tamiya cement mixed with old sprues? Did you meld down the sprues or something? How does that become a thing?
