I binged watched your videos preparing for my 4th baby’s arrival. I sent my husband your videos as well so he could be the best support for me during my labor. I was really praying for a natural, unmedicated delivery since my previous 3 were medicated. I wanted to prove to myself that I was capable of this. I am strong enough for this. I’m so blessed to say that I delivered a 9lb 2oz baby girl naturally. Thank you so much for your videos. They really helped my husband and I feel confident about this delivery. :)

I loved this video. I just want to add my 2 cents.... I've heard a few places including from my own doula that red raspberry leaf tea can be started at 32 weeks ...one cup.... so I did just that. One cup.... and a few hours later my contractions started. It turned out... 4 days later.... that I went into actual labor. Baby came at 33 weeks and 1 day. Might be coincidental but im not so sure. A ton of the doctors at my hospital found the advice extremely bad as they see it can induce labor. I jist wanted to throw that out there for anyone else it could be prevented for. I know it likely works different for others. And a lot of controversial info out there on it.

    • @jaderodriguez9069

With my last 2 pregnancies, I drank 2 quarts a day starting at the beginning of the third trimester. I used a 1/4 cup loose leaf, let it steep overnight, then strained and drank the following day. I went almost 2 weeks overdue with both of them. 😂
BUT...I have a friend, who can't drink any RLT at any point in her pregnancies, because it does cause really strong contractions for her! So every lady is different, and it is good to know that it does adversely affect some women!

Thank you for this video!!! Definitely pointed out things that I haven't heard or read from any other resource - which is surprising!
I am a little concerned because I'm right at the beginning of my third trimester and I've been sitting leaned-back on my bed the whole time for comfort...hopefully changing positions now will be ok.

That was me too :( I have a bad back so propping myself up with pillows and pillows under the knees was how I slept for much of the 2nd trimester! My baby has been breeched and no matter what I'm doing he just simply won't change :( I just started chiropractic care (Webster technique) and hoping this helps! We're 34+5 so time is of the essence!

Hey momma 👋🏿! So I’m a doula and I make motherhood content as well😁! You can still do the forward leaning tilt even though baby is in the right position! It still helps condition the pelvis and encourage baby to stay in the right position 😀. Some women even use this technique during labor, if labor starts to stall. All the best to you😊!

For nettles, infusions are important! To get all the nutrients you can get out of the nettle! It's much stronger than tea, but much better. Infusions are no good for RRL though.

I’ve been reading about raspberry leaf tee and there is the clear recommendation to not drink it before week 34. After that I could find all the advantages you stated elsewhere. But I think you should edit that part because raspberry leaf tee is labor-inducing and you don’t want that before week 34.

Hi Bridget, i was loving all of the info i could find on pregnancy, birth and postpartum i’ve watched on your channel. I gave birth to my second son on the 12th this month and was caught off guard by labia ruptures that were so severe they needed stitches.. I’ve never read or seen any information about the recovery from them (horrible when peeing for at least a week to two weeks) and i’d love to know if you could throw some recovery tips on these particular tears out there for other moms who might experience this.
