Love ur playing! Also love the Ax-edge. My only gripe is sound editing. Not the bigest of flaws; but they need to make a pc app instead of mobile only. The app is kinda bad.
Totally agree, a pc app would be better. I edit inside the edge and have put more effort on external efx. Thanks for the kind words on me playing. Good luck with the playing. /Jens
This is the U-lead sound from the Ax minus internal reverb and delay, I playthe Ax edge through a fender amp (mustang 4) and also external guitar efx : Mxr Overdrive, and Fender Reflecting pool. So it´s based on Ax sound. I think the Ax sounds are great internal too but wanted a more expressive sound.
Batteries last about 4 hours, you can charge 2 sets of batteries so you´re always safe on power. It can be bumpy on a small stage. I recommend wireless cable and batteries for freedom I have that and I love it. Edge gives great sounds and musical possibilities and is big. I think Korg is the opposite? For me it´s not heavy to carry, don´t know about you? Hope it helped this info, good luck /J
Hi thanks for the nice words, the preset on Edge is U lead. Then in the sounds Im playing I have removed the reverb and delay in the ax-editor. Then I run the signal through a Mxr overdrive and a Fender Reflecting pool (rev/delay). /Jens
I dont know much about the Korg, I think Rk is also very good. Never tried it but listened to some videos. One thing worth checking is the keysize. AX EDGE has full sized Keys. Rk may have mini Keys? Good luck.
@@carpetsmell2523 The only advantage the RK has over the AX is portability: Korg's mini-keys are totally playable, whilst the AX is a bit cumbersome. That said, Roland's sound engine and ZenCore libraries are light years ahead of Korg's (the RK uses the old MicroKorg XL's), same goes for the controls: if you don't mind the fact that it's a full, 4-octave keyboard, buy the AX-Edge. I could only recommend the RK-100S 2 if it were significantly less expensive than Roland's own keytar: but unfortunately that's not the case.
This is honestly the most fascinating instrument for me, great playing!
That is amazing. I am a songwriter and I absolutely love mine

Hi! Is it possible to use it as a sampler?
No Its not a sampler , you can not record anything with the Ax. You can just use internal sounds or buy and add from Rolands website.
Hi there.is that a factory preset? What number? It sounds great

Should i buy this or the newest Korg rk?
