Thank you very much for this explanation.
I got this keytar as a gift from my wife for our 20 years of living together.
But I still have to wait until December 6th our birthday date to play on it.
In the meantime, if you have made several patches with Schadows and Spotnicks sounds, I would like to buy them.
I can't listen to the sounds on the Roland site, and people don't know what they're buying, I don't think that's normal.
Thank you very much for your response and great tutorials.
    Best regards from Brussels, Maurice

      Hi, thanks 😀👍
The Ax Edge is an amazing synth that can create an amazing range of sounds (I even created a drum kit on it), the basic sound patches that Roland have set really don't do justice to this synth so I don't blame them for not showing off these sounds on their website. I have added several sound bank demo videos on my channel if you want to hear the default sound patches....

I hope to release some sound patch collections for the Ax Edge soon.

Thank you so much for this!! I'm coming from using the MC-101 so was a bit disappointed by the Ax Edge in terms of on board synth editing based on Roland's documentation! I didn't know you could do this! This is a huge huge help!! Thanks!

Sir, it's a very good video, and thank you for the explanation. Questions! Do you recommend editing a sound doing this way or do I have more option(for example waves, delay, attack, release) etc downloading the app? Thank you. 🙋🏻‍♂️

Hi, this is a great way to quickly put together new sounds on the Ax Edge. I would strongly recommend installing the editor up too, as the editor let's you dive really deep into sound design. As well as Attack, Sustain, Delay and Release controls, you can create your own sounds using up to 16 tones... And you can create your own tones! There is a huge number of sample waves, as well as Sine, Triangle, Square and Pulse, to choose from. Perhaps the only problem with the Editor app is that there are so many ways you can create your own sounds that it can seem rather daunting. Which is why I have made quite a few videos on how to use the editor app 😀

these are two very different synths in pretty much every way. The Ax Edge is a powerful synth thats great both on stage and in the studio (if you don't mind using the editor app) but with a price to match. The Microkorg S is a compact budget synth with keys best suited to small hands and thin fingers.
For me the Ax Edge makes sense for live on stage work but in the studio I would rather use a midi controller and plug-in synths in my DAW than use a Microkorg, so for me, a MicroKorg doesn't make any sense. For you though, if it suits your music style, you prefer Korg tones and you think a small synth is an important factor... maybe the MicroKorg makes sense to you.
