Wish my first TH-cam video came out this well.😅 Glad you are choosing to join the Laser community here on TH-cam for the most part I’d say it’s full of helpful people putting “community over competition”.

Your laser room is awesome! To pick a next machine, it would be a toss up between a fiber laser for faster engraving and CO2 for faster cutting. If I were you and only had your available space, then a desktop CO2 like the Thunder Bolt would be the first machine I would look at -- it's Lightburn compatible which is very important for businesses and since you're already using it daily, and is very fast with a 1,000 mm/s engraving speed.
Love the thunder bolt and would love one for this room but I am actually looking for something bigger I have a garage and another room in my house I could use for it so size isn't really an issue. Love your videos by the way. I have learned alot from watching you.
I started on a fold out table in my garage and have slowly built this. Its been a journey for sure but I love the way its coming together. I feel way more creative in this environment.
Just planning to start on Laser fashion. Thank you by showing your equipment layout setup. I had not seen any video talking about it, it is very helpful for me. Congratulations !!! Thank you!!
Oh heck yeah!! I’d love to do that for ya! I’ll put that down in my list of video ideas. Today I’ll be doing a tutorial for me creating a patch and cutting it out of rowmark then pressing the hat so stay tuned
I like your organization. You are proof that diode lasers can make you money. I have 4 diodes, 80 watt co2 and a 50 watt jpt fiber. I prefer my roly lasermatic 10 watt diode the most. I like your remotes but am surprised they work individually. I have stanley version of that and my 2 are exactly the same. If i press the top button on one remote it will turn on both the top position remotes. I will look into the brand you have. Very nice office space you have!!
The remotes are a small thing that makes life so much easier. These have always worked perfectly side by side with no interference and they are reasonably priced on Amazon.
Great job on your first video. Love the set up and the lights. Lightburn is a great program and just when you think you've got it, there's more to learn. I've also had a Custom woodworking business for several years but lately I've really been focusing more on laser engraving within the last year and a half. I love my XTool D1 Pro lasers 10W, 20W and my F1. The F1 is super fast and versatile - I think you'd like it. I recently began doing leatherette patches and I just bought the same VEVOR heat press that you have. I would be interested in seeing your modifications to your heat presses and learning more about custom made patches and how you've grown your business. Really look forward to your future videos! Keep up the good work.
Oh ya for sure stay tuned for more. I’m currently working on a tutorial on how to make and press a engravabke plastic hat patch, so stay tuned! Thanks for your comment!
I refurbished a 50W Co2 laser over the summer, and love it. I was only able to get s 500 x 300 mm work surface, since I set up in one of our kids' old rooms, but we are enjoying our empty nester hobby! My wife was impressed with what I've been making, so now i have a complete setup with sublimation as well. Still trying to organize it all in my laser room: Heat press, hat press, mug and bottle press, vinyl plotter, sublimation printer, laminator (planning to make photo keychains with it as part of the system), and my leather sewing machine. I would love to add a fiber laser engraver to also do firearm decorative engraving, but i doubt i could fit it! 😂 Good luck with your channel!
I used the same AtomStack laser, I upgraded it with the M50 module and rail extensions. I recently moved to the Omtech 120w laser, which has been a game changer.
Thank you very much. It's not always that organized but I have a hard time focusing if there is stuff everywhere so I try to keep it clean. Thank you for watching.
You are fantastic! Very real, very down to earth, totally genuine. I’m a 30 year wood worker, 12 years of laser engraving experience, and now three years with CNC experience. Also have a TH-cam channel (MattesonCreations). You are amazing and will grow quickly! I’m excited to be one of your early subscribers! Keep making videos! Would love to collaborate on something!
Just subscribe. I will watch some videos when I get some free time. Always say I want a CNC but honestly I have no time to learn anything new right now. Need to stay focused but I will get a CNC one day. Collaboration would be great when I find the time. Time seems to be the one thing I never have enough of.
Good video quality, good audio, good pacing and editing. Overall very good start! Each of the sub-topics you hit on could be their own videos, so lots of content opportunities. I’m here for laser reviews and project ideas, so don’t forget that big audience.
I am interested in everything you say, so... let those tutorials rock!!! This afternoon I will de publishing a video on a Creality 40 watt laser, that thing is powerfull!! If you do great videos you will receive lots of colaboration proposals, so I hope you succeed!
@@WyldeWillow I must point out my video is in Spanish, but you could be able to see the captions and the image of what I do, I also share my final settings
Great video. I am a start up my self woodworking, cnc and laser. I bought the omtech c02 and am very happy on performance and mainly the price was great. Look forward to more of your content!
Hey and welcome to the laser fun! To answer your question about having a C02 laser, it's a bit more particular and fussy. When they work, they work awesome. But, when they need attention, they take time to dial in to perfection. They are easy enough to repair but alignment is very time consuming. Once you figure it out, then you're good to go. I am going to be doing a video on tips for growing you business soon. One thing is it be very active in you community. Donate to raffle and other events. One thing that really helped me grow was to give out cheap Christmas ornaments made out of 3mm plywood with my cities name and a design that represented my city on local Facebook groups. On the back I put a QR code that linked to my Instagram page. I got so many followers from doing that and it cost me a sheet of cheap plywood and some of my time. I don’t know how you made your first 2 videos look this cool. When i do them I look like I have no skill and I’m 80 trying to figure out social media. Laser setup is awesome btw.
Hi, great little studio, and some great ideas I think I will use for my setup. You've inspired me to get motivated with my lasers and make the business that I always wanted to. I trained as a designer and I've got loads of ideas just need to make them reality and your video and channel I think will help me do that, so thanks and I wish you all the best. Stephen from the UK

going to check your other videos but a tour of your lasers and fan setup with sound would be great. Also any smells or things like that would be good to know.
Nice job I wish my shop was that neat I'm jealous of your organisational skills I have 3 lasers all diode a 10W 22W 40W and two have 1064 NM IR for metal my channel is knife sharpening & laser engraving. I see some nice work on those walls and plenty of orders. Looks like you're killing. Your first video was great looking forward to you next one.
Thank you for sharing as I'm still in the learning phase on lasers. To return the favor, pull your computer forward about 2 to 4 inches to allow better airflow and it will most likely last a bit longer (as it will run a little cooler). (The power supply doesn't look like it has much room to breathe.) If the case has fans or venting on the bottom for intake as some due nowadays, you can also add something to lift it about one inch off the floor which will help it too. Good computers can be expensive and giving them good airflow is one of the best ways to keep them running.
Yes that is on my list for sure! I'm very excited to make some ''how to'' videos. Thanks for comment also,. love to hear what you guys would like to see!
Great video. Looking forward to your next. I would like to see the hat process. I do a lot with my neje max 4 and will be adding a co2 soon. I never thought about hating business like what you have going on. Great idea and way to make it happen with those lasers. One thing I will mention, if you get a bigger laser, and start cutting, think about using air assists from a compressor vs the fish pump they usually come with. Life changer even on diodes.
Working on getting a hat video out with laserable acyrlic patches soon. Editing it is making me go a little crazy but It will be out any day. Leather videos will be soon too. When I get a CO2 it will probably be in my garage and I will deffently hook it to my compressor at that point. Thanks for the advice.
Great Office| Shop | Workflow organization. I'm looking for a laser community. I was an IT Director for 24 years. The company was bought out and my position was eliminated back to the corp office in Atlanta. I'm starting up laser and printing business. Learning LightBurn and and the process for last 2 months. I'm looking forward to your content.
Good luck with your business. One day you will look back and be so happy they eliminated your job. Corps suck, so money hungry and never care about anything but making an extra dollar no matter who they screw over along the way.
I love my CO2 laser!! Its much easier than what people portray. And when calibrated correctly the speed is incredible. You don't need to spend a fortune to achieve results. Building one from scratch is highly suggested. Buy a decent tube and power supply, get a budget Large gantry and lightburn m makes the rest easy.
Awesome video. I have a Thunder Nova 24. Would to learn more about the lights that you are using. Looking forward to seeing more videos. I have a laser engraving business also.
I have that same Xtool and have been hesitant to try a hat or tumbler. I havnt even opened the RA2 i bought with my machine. I would definitely be interested in seeing your process. Nice first video!
To be honesty the rotary work I leave mostly to my husband. I can do them but they are so frustrating that he usually steps in. He has alot better luck with the Xtool 20w compared to the 10w atomstack. But the Xtool is always running other things so we do all the rotary work on the 10w. Don't be afraid to ruin some cups and do test grids on them.
😊hey... Nice video, you've got some cool stuff, super workshop you have, and cool with all your led lights. I myself have an 80x120mm diode laser on which I make many cool things, but the one I use the most is my 50watt fiber laser, which I also make thermal cups, coffee pots, coins, jewelry, and everything else on, I also use lightburn and it's super good. I look forward to seeing more from you, I think you will have an exciting channel 😊
Well at least we share the same hobby and ideas... guess ill have to tag along with ya girl... awesome setup, props to you, you've actually even inspired me a little to push my product. Big high five from Dominican Republic.
Found you on Laser Everything. Subscribed! I hope to learn from you. I have a sculpfun S30 Pro Max. I need to really learn how to do videos and photos. And MARKETING all together!
So awesome! Thanks for subscribing! So I use Capcut for my video editing and lightroom for my photo editing! If you have any questions feel free to message me on my IG @wyldewillowwoodworks
I found you because TH-cam suggested your channel. I became "Mr. Subscriber 213".....:-) Organization is my downfall. I too was a wood worker and custom hand carved sign creator. But an undiagnosed ailment in my left wrist for the past 2 years has rendered my woodworking as a thing in the past. Luckily, I bought my first laser prior to the medical issue. I run 3 lasers in my previous 12X16 woodshop......I have 2 different CO2 lasers and a fiber laser. I'm looking forward to watching more of your videos. You are good at them. LightBurn is AWESOME!!. Good luck. Pops
I do have an inbox full of laser deals, but I am trying to be careful on who I work with and pick brands that I actually like. I even got offered a street light haha
Love the Setup, I am thinking of getting into laser cutting, I have been watching so many videos and am not sure where to start. your video was really helpful, I never even thought about hat patches.
I would definitely recommend getting a laser to anyone. The more you look into them the more you see how much can really be done with them. So many possibilities.
I’m looking forward to hearing you tonight on Laser Everything. I’m happy to support another Laser maker❤I have the Aeon Mira 7 and love making tumblers on it. You have a great system and a nice set up. Very nice first video. I’m looking forward to your next one in a couple weeks ☺️
Thanks for the comment! I’ll check that laser out, thanks for the reference! & thank you for your kind words! Ya stay tuned I’ll be doing my garage next!
been researching lasers for hat design too and your channel popped up. I watched and was very pleased to see some humility and honesty about why you are putting out the video. That hooked me. I can see you have a creative mind so I liked, sub'd and looking fwd to watching your channel grow. I too light LED's, they are so cool. Pretty sure I am going to acquire a Thunder co2 Laser, just can't finalize the bed size I need/ want. Big investment so I want to make sure I can grow without having to upsize laser later.... lots of fun. Dream big and it will happen
I am glad you appreciate me just being honest and just being myself. It gets old seeing the fake perfect people on youtube and I told my self I could never be that way and I know i have room to grow. Thunder laser is one of the laser I am seriously considering getting they seem like a great value for the price.
I think you did great in your first YT video. You seem very comfortable talking to the camera. I hope you don't give up your woodworking because woodworking and lasers go well together. I am glad to see you are not dressed in barely shorts and the half-cropped tops or bikini tops. Some channels dress to attract viewers with more skin than clothes. Their skills are suspect. I watched your interview with Laser Everything and saw the truck sign you made. That was some sign. I hope you charged a fortune because you deserved it. Keep up the good work.
Oh wow, thank you so much! That means a lot! I truly love wood working. Once I bring my husband home from working his 9 to 5 & we run my business together I'll hopefully have more time to do wood working.
Wow thank you! 😊Ya the podcast was really fun! I was a little nervous at first but those guys quickly made me feel more at ease. I have some cool ideas for videos on my channel so stay tuned!
Great set up! C02 is similar, just way more power, more speed and often larger bed size. For hats you wouldn't need a high wattage co2 the smaller ones will quickly do leatherette just fine, but it would definitely speed up your process and they also use lightburn so you have the software already. Subscribed, can't wait to see what comes out next! good luck!
My goal is to get 2 C02 machines one to do the sheets for hats so bed size a little over 12x24 and a really big one for making large signs. A girl can dream right!!!
Don't apologize for the any issues in the video. The video was very well done and the audio is good. The only thing I would do is increase the lighting a little more. There are some great videos out there that show specific lighting techniques for smaller rooms.
I would love to see how you do the multi colored leather patches, also the work that was in your diode laser was that just a printout that you were cutting out with the laser or did you laser that in different colors too. I just bought a 100w Co2 laser and a 60w fiber got a great price on the Co2 laser from RM laser and its super fast! Look into lone start adhesives if you haven't already they got some super dope letherettes and their adhesive is great! Good job on your first video.
In the laser was a product called rowmark. It's a 3 layer plastic that is white but can laser red or black depending on how deep you engrave it. I will be releasing a video on those patches this weekend.
I would love to see a diy on an effective exhaust system. Plus, how do you keep the odors out? I have a premade enclosure with a fan thats set to vent out the window, but it doesn't keep the smell out of the house. I would love some tips on how to better deal with it.
I think you did great for your first TH-cam video! You seem very natural at it. I like the little station for turning on the lights and air assist and everything. Quick question...do you always run the air assist for everything you do in the engraver? I always use my air assist but I find that I keep forgetting to turn it on before I start the engraving, which is really frustrating.
Yes I always run it atleast a little bit to help keep the lens clean. There is a way on lightburn(if that's what you use) to have a reminder screen pop up after you hit start and you can put what ever info you want in there. I have mine say things like don't forget air assist, check focus or what ever else you forget often. Go into decive setting then Select "enable job checklist". Then hit edit and put in what ever you need to be reminded about.
@@WyldeWillowThanks for the tips! At the moment I'm using the Creative Space software from xTool, which I'm not sure has the reminder feature. I'll have to look into it! I'm currently in the process of building something that automatically turns on the air assist for me since I forget so often 😅
I have had a laser for over a year and haven't used it more than 5 times. Everything about lasers is such a learning curve, I just gave up but I really want to learn how to make things with it. I only have a 5.5w though
Have you watched @lasereverthing they have a ton of useful videos for beginners. They also have a website that you can sign up for that has so many resources that can help you get started. masters.lasereverything.net/
@ about 10:20 you're talking about your white board. Why not add another monitor in place of the white board and display a spreadsheet? Then you won't have to physically write it.
You said you don't have your shit together. Who you trying to fool? Organized and clean workspace, good workflow, plenty of orders. I admire you.
Thank you!! It might seem that way but trust me I still struggle trying to keep it all together.
I would love to see the process of you making a LED sign. Great work!
Most definitely! I have three more LED signs I'll be doing here soon, so i'll make sure to do a how to video on one of them for you! & thank you!

If the case has fans or venting on the bottom for intake as some due nowadays, you can also add something to lift it about one inch off the floor which will help it too. Good computers can be expensive and giving them good airflow is one of the best ways to keep them running.
Ok sweet! I appreciate that info and I’ll take a look🤗
Hope to see how you're doing your light up signs...
Wow! Very well organized. Nice!
Thank you I try to keep it as nice as possible for when customers come over. I think a nice work space give off a professional appearance.
One of the best office/shop setup I have seen on YT. What model is your x-tool and wattage? Keep the great content coming!
Thank you! D1 20w
So cool! Thanks for your comment and I’m glad I could inspire you!
Sweet work space. Great job taking the leap on youtube
You did a very good job of explaining everything!!
Thank you!
Subscribed. Thank you. I'm just starting out so I'm definitely going to be following.
Thank you!!! Hopefully I can help you learn some things.
Good luck. Pops
Wood carving is so cool! I wish I had more time because I’d totally want to give it a go. Thanks for following!
Great first video! Always looking for Lightburn tips and tricks. The neon is awesome!!
Thank you! I appreciate it!
Great set up for your work area, it really does help keep the flow going
Cool work room, very inspiring I really need to work on my space. ❤
Thank you, it's took along time to get to this point.
Excellent video, you are going to have an inbox of laser deals in no time - you probably have already!! Stay cool 😎
I do have an inbox full of laser deals, but I am trying to be careful on who I work with and pick brands that I actually like. I even got offered a street light haha
@@WyldeWillow Good approach! 👌🏼
Nice video, you did great! Very cool set up also. I’m a wood worker and also work with lasers to augment my work. Keep at it you will do great.
Thank you so much! Thanks for your comment as well. 🙏🏻
@@WyldeWillow if you have any questions I will do what I can to help. Your work is great.
Hell ya Emily keep kicking ass
been researching lasers for hat design too and your channel popped up.
Like your video. ❤ I'm looking forward to your next video. We are starting a laser, engraving and milling service.
Thanks for watching and good luck with your business!
Wow look very organized,
Check out Thunder Laser for your next machine. The Thunder Laser Bolt specifically would be great for tumblers!
I haven't look at them that much but they definitely seem like an excellent laser for tumblers. Thanks for the recommendation.
Very cool. Just stumbled upon this video. Great video. Sound was great. Keep posting.
Thank you so much appreciate the kind words.
great start! interested to follow along as i am getting started myself into the laser world.
Thank you! It’s a journey but so worth it!
Would like to see a video of the things you learned in Lightburn to make your life easier.
I will definitely be doing a video on that. Thanks for watching.
I'd love to see your process of making hats from start to finish!
I will be making detailed videos in the near future. Thanks for watching!!
@@WyldeWillow glad to hear it and looking forward to them! You are doing a great job, keep it up!
Great job!
Thanks!
Excellent video! Thank you.
I don’t have my shit together either and I’m trying to transition from jewelry business to a laser engraving business. Subscribed!
There is so much that can be done with lasers including working on jewelry. Thanks for subscribing!!!
Good to here from you tonight, This channel is going to grow fast.
Wow thank you! 😊Ya the podcast was really fun! I was a little nervous at first but those guys quickly made me feel more at ease. I have some cool ideas for videos on my channel so stay tuned!
Keep posting 😀you're a natural!
Thank you very much and thank you for watching.
Love your name by the way!!!!
Sheesh! One video and putting up big views and subs. Ride that algorithm wave and keep the momentum! Love your mindset and plan. You're going places 🤙
I wish I had a plan 🤣 I truly did not expect anyone to subscribe. But thank you very much. Feeling a little overwhelmed but definitely excited.
Love the video. Waiting for more content.
Don't apologize for the any issues in the video. The video was very well done and the audio is good. The only thing I would do is increase the lighting a little more. There are some great videos out there that show specific lighting techniques for smaller rooms.
Yes I need to order like a spot light to use. Thank you so much for your feedback back!
Subscriber 277 here. Laser is the new way to go
Heck yeah it is!
Great vid. You are very organized and helpful. Subbed.
Thank you I appreciate it!
Great first video, love your workspace!
Thank you it's took a long time to get it dialed in but I love it now.
can't wait for more
great video! more info on the enclosure for the xtool laser and what setup you got exhaust? Thanks. Best of Luck with you venture!
I am going to go over my encloser in my next video. I wish I made plans for it to share but I just kinda winged it and started building.
I would love to see a diy on an effective exhaust system. Plus, how do you keep the odors out? I have a premade enclosure with a fan thats set to vent out the window, but it doesn't keep the smell out of the house. I would love some tips on how to better deal with it.
I am going to go over my enclosure more in my next video.
Great video!.
Thank you!!
I'm currently in the process of building something that automatically turns on the air assist for me since I forget so often 😅
you should look at getting the XTool F1, yes its only. 10 watt but its fast i can crank out hat patches in no time
Anything Lightburn please
I have had a laser for over a year and haven't used it more than 5 times. Everything about lasers is such a learning curve, I just gave up but I really want to learn how to make things with it. I only have a 5.5w though
Have you watched @lasereverthing they have a ton of useful videos for beginners. They also have a website that you can sign up for that has so many resources that can help you get started. masters.lasereverything.net/
@@WyldeWillow thanks I'll check it out
@ about 10:20 you're talking about your white board. Why not add another monitor in place of the white board and display a spreadsheet? Then you won't have to physically write it.
I just like writing things down personally 👍
You are doing very well, best wishes!
Thank you for your comment! Best wishes to you as well!
great video! definitely inspired me
Woah! That’s awesome! So glad to hear that! And thank you!
Awesome video!
