She dosen't look age 52 and sadly she just lost her dad and recently entering menopause and having fibroids,she's really been through a lot lately and she was a very sweet lady as well. I hope things get better in life for Karen.
The very first patient, the one that collapsed in the police van... WHY DIDN'T YOU GIVE HIM NASAL NARCAN RIGHT AWAY?!!?!?!? The police said they thought drugs were involved, that should have been instant Narcan up the nose. Police even carry it on them in the US because of how effective it is, not sure about the UK. I was screaming at my computer when she started bagging him and they did IV Narcan instead of the nasal spray. They wasted valuable minutes that could have been the difference between life and death or a life with permanent brain/heart damage.
Every person filmed in the programme needs to give their permission for their faces to be shown. The drug user likely didn’t give his permission, hence the blurred face.
Please dont be jumping to conclussions. Even if this was done for privacy, you have NO idea what led them down this road to be a drug user. I hope you have never had something happen in your life that has/will make you self medicate. Yes there is some out there that do it for the fix and the rush/high. But alot are self medicating wether its drink or drugs after going through severe trauma thats eithier pysical or mental. on the low scale, you loose someone close or you witness an accident, you may be a smoker & you reach for a smoke to feel a lil more steady and in control of something, or you have a rough day & feel like having a drink at the end of it. on the high end, heavy drink/drugs that leads to this because you cant get passed whatever it is.
