24:06 i can tell you right now, she has POTS, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. It can be truly disabling for some of us. I was unable to work, and had to drop out of high school because of it. It took me 10 years to get a treatment that worked. My HR would sit at 190 when standing, and resting would be 60.
I had to call the ambulance a few weeks back as I had real bad chest pain but turned out I had acute bronchitis and my oxygen levels wouldn’t go up , it’s scary especially if you live alone .
Is it common for UK ambulances to be left outside? Here in Australia our ambulance stations have covered plantrooms for the vehicles. Keeps them cool, plugged in and easy to restock irrespective of the weather.
Lots do have shelters they’re put inside, probably moved and maintained by staff other then the crews themselves who are able to leave them after a shift, the vehicles are very well maintained and always a high standard
Yeah most stations do have covers, Most stations in the UK also now have AVP which is ambulance vehicle preparation. So instead of the paramedics doing the cleaning and the checks, it will be those guys and they make sure the ambulance is deep cleaned and everything where it should be and thats done in a building especially for AVP. Hope this helps
@elliephillips3828 What an awesome idea. All too often comms will drop a job on us as we're doing the vehicle check at the start of shift. Usually we are assigned the same vehicle for our shift rotation so we tend to restock at the end of shift. We're generally allowed 20 minutes at the end of shift to restock and clean ready for the next shift.
When I hear people and see them suffering with COPD, and to think those tobacco industry big tycoons are sitting on billions of dollars meanwhile, the people that they got hooked on tobacco on their poisonous laced cigarettes are suffering like this until they pass away. These patients are loved. They’re grandmothers and grandfathers, they’re aunts and uncles, they’re moms and dads, brothers and sisters, husbands and wives, sons and daughters. It’s awful!!😢😢😠😠
Can you please add captions (in English ) ?? That would be wonderful. I'm older, sometimes I can't understand what was said. I'm from Idaho in the U.S. Great show!
Hiya , there should be a small square icon at the bottom right of the video you watch , press that and you'll have automatically translated subtitles. You can also go into the settings , which is a small circular 'gear' icon at the bottom of the video next to the small rectangular button , and adjust font size , font , font colour and any other translations. If you're still not sure then it might be easier to google how to add subtitles to your youtube.
Hello chap look for the box with the letters CC usually the bottom or top corner on the right side depending on your device and you should have generated captions
I would love to move away from the UK but sadly at 51 with poor health no country would have me, I have two adult sons my youngest is autistic and there is absolutely nothing in this country for him! My eldest son has two degrees and he is unable to get a job he is either over qualified or not enough experience, I would love to move to Australia as I love the Australians they have British humour and they get so much more family time, here you are worked to the bone, I would love to leave! ❤
I am 36 yrs and I am getting pain in my chest from my high heart rate and from my Asthma and I am thinking I have got pots and I think that lady might have a condition called Pots because when I stand up i get palpitations and chest pain and rapid heart rate
Even if so, lot of folks either can’t afford or don’t want a TV licence for these programs so using a form of free media in my personal opinion is a great way to either educate or promote the national emergency services to the wider public

Warnings about the harm that smoking does are (and always have been) everywhere, and nobody forced them to start smoking.

Where did you move to?
@ - Paradise - West Australia in the hills 👍
@vanessakelly5993 Seems a lot of Brits move to WA. We're in the Gold Coast hinterland Queensland.
