The COPD, dementia and cancer patients all make me so sad. We have the ability to end the suffering of our companion animals when they have no quality of life, but the law forces us to continue torturing our human loved ones until their flesh gives out and they die in pain and afraid. This makes no sense to me. Humans should have the right to choose the manner, time and place of their death if they have an incurable condition that would rob them of quality of life.
I don't think I'd have wanted her to go in if I were her relative. If she's going to die from an infection, I'd rather it be in the nice warm and comfy home rather than in the cold, sterile environment of a hospital with a bunch of strangers near you and being prodded every hour or two for blood pressure tests. There wasn't much left of her already before she went in FOR the infection to take, and not like they could give "her" back to her husband if they defeated the infection.
……could be a large cylinder of O2, & it could be bolted in its’ holder, & to a fixture in the bedroom………not all cylinders’ are the small ones’ that the ambos’ have. If you watch medical shows’, look at the size of cylinders’ in an Operating Theatre………
They only thing that helps a lot of us get through saying goodbye is knowing we gave them the best amount of care we could
Alan is wonderful. He seems to be the one you could enjoy a cup of coffee or tea with.
The worst part of dementia, the loved ones must watch the patient “die” twice. 😢😢
ugh this is so true :(

Absolutely. I think exactly the same way. I have a number of chronic illnesses and wish I could be put to sleep, rather than suffering every day.
Stephen could not walk to the next room to get his O2. His sister couldn’t’ get the O2??😮
………my thought exactly, BUT it could’ve been a large O2 cylinder that wasn’t moveable…………
Im glad joan is at peace now and bless her husband
Just want to give Ken a hug xx
seeing someone having a seizure is scary. Looks so exhausting having so many.
Damn Alice is bloody gorgeous, beautiful eyes and so sweet.

Sadly i dont think joan should have been going to hospital. That wasnt in her best interests

Why could that mans sister not get his oxegen from the next room or go get a neighbour or random in the street to get it?

Popular in the 60s, they’ve made a major comeback with the young folk. If they enjoy them, I say WTH not!😃
