Not to take away from R32, but it was in it's own element. While C9 was like fish out of the water. That course is nowhere near fast enough to take full advantage of that car. Wasn't really made for very narrow, tight, twisty road. But for massively wide race track, with long corners.

The Mercedes 60HP was phenomenal! I'm sure a lot of effort went into this motorcar! Incredible! Props to George Wingard! Just a fantastic outing! I hope there will be footage for next year's! I feel like I have been there before. I had the Polyphony Digital Gran Turismo Sport for the PS4 and got to 'drive' the Goodwood course and know what the drivers are going through. Just fantastic video! Thank you so much for your effort!
NASCAR Stock Cars + Road Racing = Chaos Those cars on a road course are some of the best things you can watch. They were never meant to do what they can do at places like Road America, Mid Ohio, Watkins Glen, etc., yet each year it's some of the most fun you can have watching a race.
That R32! Damn! Godzilla still has it even 30 years later! To beat the 30 years newer touring cars is one thing but to beat that Sauber by over 3 seconds and an M1 Procar by over 5 seconds... Incredible machine!
The Sauber driver was keeping it safe, the proof is the Spice being faster in a wetter track. The Procar could be aceptable fact...in a real circuit the Sauber would be running circles around your beloved skyline. Go back to F&F...
And thankfully the engine didn't break like the last time it was there. I remember the whole struggle to swap the engine using V8 taken from caravan overnight just to keep it running.
What a shame about the Nascar entry, I was worried how close he was getting in previous corners. That car looks significantly wider than the rest of the field, glad the driver is okay
That subie took the cake. There was so much intensify in Travis’ driving, and you could see him wrestle with the beast through the turn to the flint wall
the mini set up and handling was incredible. Much more impressive than any other car there. Those hops under load usually only happen in karts which have incredible cornering ability.
WHAT A SHOW,!! THANKS FOR THE AMAZING RACE !! IT'S AMAZING HOW MUCH THE WEATHER /CLIMATE CHANGES IN A SHORT TIME!! CLIMATE CHANGES WHEN YOU DO NOT WANT IT TO
This kind of event is lovely, but there's a problem when some of the drivers don't try to push their cars to the limit since they know how much the cars value now. We might not know the full potential of those cars, such as the Tyrrell 012 (since the driver's pretty much keeping it safe throughout the course).

I feel like I have been there before. I had the Polyphony Digital Gran Turismo Sport for the PS4 and got to 'drive' the Goodwood course and know what the drivers are going through. Just fantastic video! Thank you so much for your effort!
The poor Camaro… goes to show how tough it is to be a NASCAR driver, much less a race car driver of any kind.
NASCAR Stock Cars + Road Racing = Chaos
Those cars on a road course are some of the best things you can watch. They were never meant to do what they can do at places like Road America, Mid Ohio, Watkins Glen, etc., yet each year it's some of the most fun you can have watching a race.
Is a heavy car
nascars are designed to crash.
I'm not a NASCAR person myself. But a huge boat of a car designed to just go in circles had got to be a handful at low speed corners.
@@JoshuaTootell Nascar has had road courses for a long time, they are capable of handling corners when they're set up to.
Best car show on earth to me .. 👍🇬🇧
I’m stunned. In awe, wow
Love Travis's win it or bin it mentality. The guys a prodigy. Loved the mini clubman too....them things go exactly where u want em to
21:28 That V8 Supercar 👌
That BMW M1 sounded a lot better than I expected
Gold footage here, still waiting on the day I will be able to attend a FOS.
Now this is what I ❤️ love with the commentary
That R32!
@@milesr4609 cope that it lost to a 90s daily car
@@Monchi1188 like i said.. go back to your F&F...
Wow! Love seeing the cars out from their collections.
Holy moly..that gtr is top 5
And remember..that's old freaking 1992 Japanese touring race car and still that competitive in 2021
Just scary...
Almost fast as 720 gt3x and it has no gigantic spoiler.
@@gokhan7482 and NO ground effect aerodynamic whatsoever..combination of this car and the engine + the driver is just pure coldblooded killer 🥶
In the dry lol, started raining after that
Loved seeing the Laguna out there. One of my favourites of all time.
Godzilla R32GTR just look at the modern tech it required to beat it even after all these years
The ulster is such a beautiful car. Thank you for sharing all these shootouts and other Goodwood races. 😊👐
Any chance of a highlight reel too? Like the top 5 fastest?
They have a top 10 video posted a few days ago
Amazing to watch, as always...
The mini and the R32 GT-R, wow! That was some very impressive driving. Loved it!
Two astronauts in a Mercedes 60hp made to gather interest and STYLE 😁
Absolute joy to watch all the cars, especially the mini!
That R32 HKS 🔥🔥
Loved watching this. So much fun.
i know it will never happen, but would be mega to see the C9 set up specifically for Goodwood, see how a legend can attack the hill climb
It's probably set up as best as it gets, it's built to be fast doing at least 100km/h more through every turn...
@@NuclearHeadshot Its definitely NOT set up for a hillclimb. Looks like a normal sprint setup...
2021 Mustang Mach-E 1400hp is 6sec slower than a 1992 R32 GT-R. Are you sure it is progress in automotive sector?
Edit: responded way to early LOL
Pastrana will win if he did jumping finish 😂😂😂😂😂
Never thought this was an actual competition, more of a parade. Guess I'll watch some more, nice to see the older cars still competing.
The Bill Thomas Cheetah is my new fascination. I'm so glad it's in the shootout this year! 12:02
And thankfully the engine didn't break like the last time it was there. I remember the whole struggle to swap the engine using V8 taken from caravan overnight just to keep it running.
The video doesn't give justice to his accomplishment. I drove that road, but the speeds he attained were beyond imagination. Well done Travis
Im most impressed with the time of nissan skyline
That was some awesome entertainment. Superb drive by Rob Bell to win, congratulations!
Skyline always #1 in my heart
My favourite was the Mini and the Sierra RS500. Fantastic!! 😃
I love the HKS R35 GTR a lot.
Congrats, Rob.
What a shame about the Nascar entry, I was worried how close he was getting in previous corners. That car looks significantly wider than the rest of the field, glad the driver is okay
gotta love Nick Swift in the Mini. awesome run from Such a tiny little car
Freaking Godzilla man. Almost a 30 year old car.
They beat a legendary Sauber C9
less than a second with the 992 from 2021... crazy
Every year I look forward to this. You all are fantastic!
Lets gooo!
That subie took the cake. There was so much intensify in Travis’ driving, and you could see him wrestle with the beast through the turn to the flint wall
R32..dribble 🤤
the mini set up and handling was incredible. Much more impressive than any other car there. Those hops under load usually only happen in karts which have incredible cornering ability.
That is better than a hole F1 season
Pretty much the same amount of passing.
It's great to see all these beautiful machines. Thank you guys.
The McLaren 720s had win written all over it from its start.
WHAT A SHOW,!! THANKS FOR THE AMAZING RACE !! IT'S AMAZING HOW MUCH THE WEATHER /CLIMATE CHANGES IN A SHORT TIME!! CLIMATE CHANGES WHEN YOU DO NOT WANT IT TO
37:55 38:02 how close is that! What a drive
I really enjoy and love Goodwood festival ❤
This kind of event is lovely, but there's a problem when some of the drivers don't try to push their cars to the limit since they know how much the cars value now. We might not know the full potential of those cars, such as the Tyrrell 012 (since the driver's pretty much keeping it safe throughout the course).
you gonna foot the bill if they crashed? :D
@@usurpareltrono Well... if only I have the money, lol
The course is a bit too narrow to take such a risk with multimillion dollars legendary cars, but I agree
Man how fun is this to watch two vehicles every 2ish mins how cool
