We Indians are always extremists about everything, it's in our DNA. Never ever we are subtle about anything, we have to do everything with extremism.. This is the reason for the over valuation of every start-up we have, same reason apply for our love and hate for cricketers, celebrities, politicians and whatnot.. We use ❤️ where we should use 🧠. People show us dreams and we fall at their feet. And when the dream shatters, we throw them out like a housefly in milk and start searching for new messiah.
'fake it till you make it' is a common strategy used by start up tech firms, biggest being TESLA itself.. this becomes serious, however, when you are operating in regulated industries like health or finance
I agree on what paytm did was wrong according to RBI guidelines and every companies have to follow a regulations strictly, But what VSS did was truly inspiring for generations, it was totally digital revolution of our country, and we have to be proud about that, every one makes mistakes and we have to be careful and have to learn from mistakes, sometimes we can be successful and sometimes it fails , but I have seen so many people who were getting views on paytm success and they are now making videos on it’s failures. I have seen same kind of videos for Byjus as well, you have to make video on why they fail and what they did wrong instead of mirch and masala, making video is easy compare to make a successful startup.
Paytm ka failure india ke start-up walon ka failure h ki koi bhi company successfully karo fir bade corporation apko barbad krke apko copy krke aapko kha jayenge ya apko kharid lenge. Biggest example paytm

@thedeshBhakt: This video focuses on all negative aspects of Paytm, where an excellent technology genius tried to build a super app and succeeded and challenges global giants GooglePay, Walmart owned PhonePe, VISA and Mastercard. There have been slippages on compliances, but there have been learnings and positive aspects of paytm, which you could have covered. I am fan of your channel, please look beyond obvious and positive story such as A. How a person from humble back ground from Aligarh, faught against all odds and built such technology marvel which was recognized globally. B. How Paytm shifted gears from wallet to UPI to lending and divesified the business C. How regulator and Government may define corporate Governance standards and SOPs to ensure no other startups do not get into similar situations. Please make a video on learnings from Paytm for Indian Businesses, due to our negative bias, you are making stories which are covering only negative aspects

With the impressive rise and fall of paytm,, The business model, catalysts for its rise and points of failure need to be researched and publishied. I believe it can really help the future entrepreneurs. Also, as always, very nice analysis. Thank you Mr. Banerjee.
We Indian have a very common genetic called corruption and shortcut from the core. We do not have honesty and hard work rather think how to make big and unsustained wealth through shortcut and dishonesty. These things will never last long ..

Very detailed researched video. However, I'd like to highlight RBI has been a pain for not just paytm but many big financial companies as well, specially with their "my way or highway attitude", I saw this recently with my firm American Express who is well known for following stringent R&R but it was also not spare by RBI And now Amex top leaders are discussing India business may be managed through a completely new firm 💳💳
