As a 6’5 guy, I’ve had the privilege of being every height up to 6’5 and in all honesty, if I had to select a favourite/most ideal height it would be 5’9 or 6’1.
@@MikeDGuitar both were just very comfortable heights. Had absolutely no problems with comfortability. And it was around them heights that I felt my most able athletically. Now I’m 6’5 I feel I’ve lost a bit of speed and agility. I felt very sharp though when I was those heights. I mean ofc it’s completely subjective, that’s just me personally. Tbh the whole range between 5’9 and 6’1 were the best heights imo. Once I surpassed that there became issues like not being comfortable in modes of transport, or my bed not feeling big enough, clothes not fitting how I want them to, chairs feeling way too small, etc.
@@yoankcj3661 around the same as I am now. I’m about 195cm so I round up very slightly to 6’5. When I turned 17 I was no more than 1.5cm off that. Maybe even closer tbh. I’ve only grown fractionally since then because I had my growth spurt quite early.

Not gonna lie, my favourite height when I was younger was probably in the range of 180cm - 186cm. I felt like during those years I was the most athletic, agile, comfortable, fastest I’ve ever been. Once I grew past the 186-188 mark, that’s where certain problems started happening. Clothes started feeling meh, lost athleticism, speed, agility, vertical, etc. Currently I’m 196cm and have been for the past 2.5 years. Hopefully I’m done growing. I wish I stayed around the 186-188cm mark. I feel like that height is where you’re kinda considered tall by societies standards, but also feel good as well. If you’re around the 180cm-186cm range, you’re good. No point of wanting to grow taller, it’s not worth it at that point .

I’m 5 foot 8….and I’m literally yet to experience a downside…I’d also be amazed if average height really is 5 foot 9/10 considering it’s based on peoples claims. The number of 5 foot 10 guys I meet who are the same height as me is odd…. As are the number of 6 footers who are the same height as my 5 foot 10 dad 😂 I also very rarely feel particularly short in a room.
@Cope at that height at 17 you’re a rarity. Even generally, your height is rarer than mine. My dad at 5 foot 10 and my mum at 5 foot 2, I was never going to hit 6 foot 😂
I remember when I was 16 I work with Mexicans and this 5'8 one told me he was 5'10 and he tried telling me I was 6 I was like no man you aren't 5'10 Lol
6'1.5" guy here.....You make a very solid case for 5'8" (and even under), Big Rob! My dad was 6'3" and he always said it was the perfect height, because you gained all the benefits of being tall, without any of the downsides from being "too" tall (doorways, seats, clothes that don't fit, mobility issues when older, etc.) As long as you're comfortable with it, you're both right.
@@kevinwilson7318 Dude don't feel that way. I'm 6'2 and I don't think any less of a 5'7 guy than I do of a 6'5 guy running into them in public. Being the bigger man does have it's merits at times, but it's not all height. I'm a lanky 6'2 with a measured 14" upper arm. If I run into a shorter 5'8 with with a heavily toned 17" arm my instincts will tell me to respect him because he could kick my ass. Look at it this way....at 6 foot and a quarter, you're much above average height. 50th percentile would be dead-average...you're about 84%. Only 16 in 100 guys will be taller than you.

According to your attitude I should probably hang myself because of my height. Let me tell you this. You have the perfect height. 6´0 and everything above is what women desire. As long as you are not planning to do basketball or something, 6'1-6'2 is the perfect height. You can even put 5'11 out there since male models are around 5'11-6'2. I think this is the sweet spot.

Average men height is about ( 5.7 - 5.11 ) globally and a tall men height globally is about ( 6.0 - 6.4 ) . No matter what height you have but if you have an attractive physique than no matter what is your height for eg broad shoulders , long neck , thin waist , broader thighs with perfect long shaped legs .........
In my opinion, between 6'2 and 6'3 is the best height for men who can be considered more than just tall (for example if you are 6'0 or 6'0.5 you are tall, but nothing more), and also because 6'2 and 6'3 is less than gigantism.

That many guys are 6'2 is very relative, considering where you live, because not even in Netherlands, which is the country with the tallest people in the world, 6'2 (1.88) is close to the average for men, which is 1.82. If you want to add a few more cm to the ideal height that I mentioned, I think 6'2.5 (1.89) or 6'2.8 (1.90) would be the best height for fairly tall men, but before they reach gigantism or have back problems.
@@soycremv07 what you said about the location is true. In my country average dudes were from 165-175cm most of them and me with 188cm I was very tall. Tallest in my senior year of high school with 1.86 (along with another guy). To college I was the tallest along with another guy with 1.88 . Usually I would be among the tallest in the room, except with a friend of mine who’s 6’4. The thing is that in my country tall people existed but there were very less compared with short people. But the tallest you’d see were 6’2-6’3. Seeing someone over 6’3 was not to see daily, at least in all of my years there I felt in a few occasions small, like two guys who were 6’9 and two other dudes who were 6’7. Only if you go to see a basketball game you would see tall dudes gathered there. When I relocated to another country and city and when I got off the taxi a 200cm guy passed me, then a 207cm guy passed me, the same day i saw an 205cm guy and another one with 213cm. And most people around me where 185-197cm. Total madness. Not all of them. Here In this place half Aare short but the other half are tall as fuck. I saw more 200cm+ dudes in one day than I saw my whole life in my country. Took some time for me to get used to look upon someone because it felt a bit strange at first, i was usually to be on the tallest side
As someone who is 5'10.5" to 5'11" I find my height to be perfect 6'3 is too tall wouldn't want to be that tall the world isn't built for you people only average which is 5'7 to 5'11 or 6ft.
I think 5'8" to 5'10" are the best heights to be because it's not hard to find clothes and you can eat less calories and you don't have to duck your head and to me everything is convenient

I’d absolutely love to be able to keep my morning height of 184.1, but sadly drop to 182.2 after 8 hours, any height looks good though it just depends how you wear it ☺️

I'm 1.76.6. 1.78.5 with regular shoes and yeah it's something nice but I think the perfect height would be 1.82 so when you're old you get 1.80 and 1.82 with shoes. Maybe I can grow and inch more before 25, I'm 22 when I measured in 2018 was 1.74. so I've grown a bit more (I'll be happy with 1.79) considering that my mom is a minion (1.50) and my dad 1.70 yeah my genetics fought really hard to add a couple of inches more than my expected height and for being a Nicaraguan is nice, average height is 5'6/5"7 for males. There are really few 6"+ and more here xddd

I was exactly the same height as you when I turned 17. And an inch shorter at 16 than you, 174.5cm. Am 19 now 180.5 so I grew 6cms after turning 16 and im still growing so if you had a later spurt and taller genes other than your parents, 180 is very possible.
5 8 is probbaly the average because so many people lie about their height and the average self reported height is always higher than their actual height
It actually is and it’s way lower in countries in asia and India for example and that’s a huge chunk of the population, America is probably 5’9 average
I'd love being 1.90, me being 1.87, but i know it wouldn't make any difference. In my friends groups i'm the tallest or amongst the tallest but whenever i go to a more crowded place i often see guys looking way taller than me. Luckily, I have a point of comparison, my 1.95 dad and I know he just looks slightly taller than me in real life even though I feel he is towering me. So for the guys around my height that share this feeling around taller guys, remember they just look slightly taller and you're still perceived as tall. To me, the ideal height range is 185-195 (6'0"-6'4").

I could go as low as 186 cm in the evening if I've had a really active day. If I measure myself straight after waking up, I'm 188 cm (6'2") on the dot, but only for like 15 minutes, very little time.

Best part of being avg height is that putting on muscle on your relative stocky frame is much faster and easier that some one who is super tall and lanky but that’s just my experience.
Height is relevant to which country and region you live. Back in my original country most men were about 5’5 to 5’9 which made someone who was 5’11 and above a tall dude and me at 6’2 I was too tall. There were times that I rarely saw someone way taller than me, except from my friend who was 6’4. The tallest you’ll encounter on the road would be 6’2-6’3 over 6’3 would be rare. However in the city I live now ( a different country) here people are tall as hell. When I got out of the taxi a guy who was 6’7 passed me on the road, then a couple of minutes later I saw a 6’10 dude, then on the same day I saw a 6’5 dude another dude who was 6’7 another dude who was about 6’8 and a man who was 7 feet tall. I remember those first days I was like what the hell is going on here, I even saw a girl at 6’3. Damn I saw more 6’6+ guys in a day than I saw my entire life in my country, it’s weird when you are used to be very tall then to feel average. I got used to it. It’s not that everyone is tall in this city, half are short but half are tall as hell. But back in my country majority of people were very short.
@@chowbow573 I used to live in Albania now in Greece. Generally Greece doesn’t have tall people overall but this city here is land of giants. I think 6’2-6’4 is pretty standard here. Of course you are tall but you’ll see people at your height all the time

I think there is such a thing as the best height. I think the best height is 5'10 for a man and 5'6 for a woman. If you ask why, 1 cm above is Andrew Garfield's height and he looks tall, and 1 cm below looks short but charlie cox seems to have the ideal height and ana de armas seems to have the ideal height for a woman. I think there is such a thing as ideal height and ideal size, but no one can have all the ideal measurements.
I'm italian and i'm a solid 188 cm(6' 2"). Here i'm an half-giant, it's a very confortable height in this country, at each party i'm the taller. Maybe on 100 guys, i'm shorter than 3? Probably. But clearly in other countries this eight remains good but not ever impressive, so i agree with you Rob, good eight depends first to your country. Anyhow, if you live in Europe, generally i will say 6'1 to 6'4 is probably your cup of tea.

My father is 6' 2", Mother 5' 11", Brother 6' 5.5", younger Brother 6' 4", and cousins and uncles all from 5' 4"- 6' 4". We came from Munich and average there seemed 5'11". We're in the USA and we stand out like giraffes almost we're so tall especially my older brother at 6' 5.5".
I'm a man and i am 5'10 1/4" barefoot. im in my 30s. Im happy with it. noone really notices my height because 5'10" is kind of in the middle of spectrum lol.
6'8"+ too tall, the world simply was not built for you. 6'5" - 6'7" you're very tall. It's the first thing people will notice about you and they will bring it up a a lot. 6'1" - 6'4" is the perfect height range for a man these days. imo. 5'10" - 6'0" is pretty decent, won't get comments on your height either way. 5'9" - 5'8" is the very tip of starting to be short. Still taller than most women. 5'7" - 5'5" you're short. Some people will treat you differently at this height range. 5'5" and under is very short as you are equal or shorter than the average women. This is my opinion on male height. (I'm 5'11") If I could chose my height I would pick 6'3.25" morning height.
i think in general as a man like globally, 6 feet or 5’11 really is the perfect height but when you want to be formidable and want no one to mess with you 6’5 will do that for you so you can show who the big boy is

6’3-6’4 in my opinion… With a good physique at this height, you will look SOLID! attractive and strong looking! Doesn’t suffer from the lankiness that generally starts at 6’5/6’6+ from what I have noticed. Also pretty much tall EVERYWHERE! Tho in general I would consider a good height to start at 5’11, a decent height at 5’9-5’10, an “ok” height at 5’8… and under 5’8 I would consider it to be a bit of a social disadvantage unfortunately
@@nightowl5475 what about it? Well I consider 5’7 to be a rather bad height for a man…it’s not as bad as something like 5’4/5’5 obviously! But when compared to average young guys who are now 5’9-5’10…it’s just too noticeable of a difference and you will look pretty short compared to them! At least at 5’8…you can look pretty much average with big shoes
6ft tall is the best perfect height for a man in my opinion, being too lanky slows down your reflexes and you always end up banging your head in low spaces. A 6ft man can look tall enough to show his presence and not be intimidating for the ladies or challenging to the thugs to pick a fight with.
How do you come to that conclusion though if you’ve never been that height? I think if you were in the 190-192 range you’d wish you were 6’2 again because after 6’2 is when being ‘too tall’ can become a prominent issue for someone, regarding the comfortability of regular day to day tasks.
Nothing makes you happier than feeling comfortable with who you are. Just accept yourself don't live with social media or society's standards live with your own standards. You are better as who you are.
In my opinion 5'11 is the best in my country, Indonesia, but in overall world, 6'0.5-6'1 height is pretty good, and in the tallest country in average like south sudan or nether, i want the likes of 6'3-6'6 height
Yes definitely…I’m 190-191cm and I definitely stand out here in my country! Average here where I live is 178cm I mean I do see guys taller than me from time to time around that 195-200cm range, but I’m definitely in the top 3-1%

I can say from walking here that young people appear to be 178-179cm ish on average… I’m planning to move to Canada tho in a few years once I get some stuff done here…wondering if the average in Canada will be higher or lower than my country 🤔
Yes a true 192cm guy with yardstick stands out almost all the time even in Scandinavia. Most just dont know what 192cm is. I know a "195cm" guy and when i measured 190cm morning i had already got taller than him lol
I am 5'10 and consider people shorter than me short and taller than me tall 🤣 Though I would say for a man 'short' starts at 1,70m or below. Everything between 5'8 to 5'11 is within average, at least in Europe...
I agree with the argument presented, I do still enjoy manipulating my percieved height. Why not it's fun. I think the perception of real 5'8 is slightly undervalued because people who are 2-3" under - are claiming it. That probably goes for all heights, most people claiming their shoe height at least.

Great video btw in my opinion 6'1 seems a great height but I think there's no such thing as a "Perfect" height anything from 5'5 up to 6'4 seems a good range (Male height) as if your below 5'5 people consider you quite short and if your over 6'4 people consider you massive
Honestly its likely. Everyone likes to repeatedly say you stop growing at 16-18, but i’ve found that its not the case with most people. Maybe you can’t have any major growth spurts, but you can still gain a little height. For me at 18 years old I injected peptides on and off for about 5 months straight and I’ve grown just over an inch. Everyone kept telling me I was wasting my time and that my growth plates were closed and now I’m laughing at them.
I was 5'9 1/4 (176) at that age and I'm 5'11 (180 flat at low) now and im I'm 19 in 3 months. So that's 2 years and 4cm for me so you can defo be over 6 foot. In still growing btw my predicted height is 182cm so you can reach 6ft1. Depending on your genes and parents height
I’m 6’5. I like being tall, but it comes with it disadvantages. Leg room on airplanes, lowerback pain (all the time) and I have to eat a lot to keep this engine running.
To keep up with the engine metaphor, I liken your height range to a Ford F150: tough and durable but difficult to maneuver or to fit into small spaces. I almost backed into a driver coming out of my driveway with my dad's F150 a couple of weeks ago, haha.
@@rahimrahim6330 I developed rounded shoulders and a slight hunch as a result of farming work. Then I did a stretching routine every morning for 15-20 minutes, as well as making a conscious effort to walk more upright. I realise now that I was lazy to let my posture slip, as I feel stronger now
It was quite bad. I bend down and lean forwards a lot, which naturally shaped my posture over time. It became increasingly difficult for me to stand up straight without awkwardness or pain. I also have a big head, so my forward neck made quite a difference to my height. Yes, you could probably increase your height by up to half an inch or so, depending on the muscles in your back. I have personally found that I can only maintain my good posture through regular exercise, always sitting upright, and trying to keep my chin tucked in to avoid my neck from returning to its old curvature

I’m 6 feet tall but always wanted to be a bit taller like 6’3-6’4 because when I was a kid all doctors told me that I ll grow to 6’5 or about it but I didn’t and now I m 24 so I think I have a chance to grow up maximum to an inch. But interesting case is that I’ve increased in height after 20 about 2 and a half inches

Even tall in some places 5'6"-5'9" - if you are fat u look short and stocky... If u are lean like robert downey or tom cruise u can pull it off( wear heels like rdj occasionally ) 5'5" and below- short, u are short every where...maybe high school kids will dwarf you... But who cares,hit the gym get insanely strong, take jeff nippard or greg douchette for example..... We all gonna make it braahs
I am 5 ft 5 man and I stopped growing when I was 14-15 because of my kidney disease since childhood. That is a miracle that I reached that height though, most of kidney patient that I know remaind under 5 ft and I am talking about guys. One guy who I know is around 150 cm maybe 4'11 and 30 years old.
If you tap the stadiometer down then it flattens hair, such that it's pretty much negligible. Certain thicker hairstyles might add a mm or 2, or if you aren't tapping it down hard enough.
If I had a choice I'd be 6'1"you're taller than almost all women in heels then. I've always thought 5'8" was a tough break. That's why I'm a life long bodybuilder. Just grateful I wasn't stiffed in the trouser department ( no pun intended)

Real question is why are people obssesed with height.I am 181.5 cm on a dot but i always say smaller number 181 cm.Saying that extra 0.5 cm seems so petty.
This will sound weird but I think the shorter the average the better, the taller the individual the better. In the Netherlands you don't really want to be 177 although this is the perfect height in another country
6’1 (my height) being more well rounded height, while 6’3 being more on the tall side but not freakishly tall. 6’2 is probably the best height overall for men

I'm 6'2" and reached that height around the age of 16/17. When I was about 11 I was 5'5" and around 14/15 I was 5'9". I know someone who is 6'11" (rounds to 7') and he was about 6' when 11 and could buy 18 rated products without ID!

A man can even stop growing at 13 and how are you saying to someone hey relax you’ll be. You don’t even know how he’s genetics work. I was 5’10 at 13 and I’m 6’2 adult. I was growing rapidly between 11-13 . Then after 13 it took me another 5 years to slowly reach 6’2 by the end of the age of 18. My cousin was 5’7 at 12 and he still is at 26. A guy I knew was 6’3 at 13 and he still is. Another one was 5’9 at 14 and he still is. My friend was 5’1 at 13 and he’s 6’1 now. Another one of my friends was 5’5 at 13 and he’s 6’5 now. A guy who was playing basketball was 6’6 and he told he was 6’6 since 13 years old. You see everyone grows on its own way and according to their genetics. You can’t say to someone hey you are 6’3 at 13 you’ll be 6’11 as adult. That’s not 100% accurate because some kids enter puberty earlier than the others and reach their max height early while others grow later on.

@@MikeDGuitar both were just very comfortable heights. Had absolutely no problems with comfortability. And it was around them heights that I felt my most able athletically. Now I’m 6’5 I feel I’ve lost a bit of speed and agility. I felt very sharp though when I was those heights. I mean ofc it’s completely subjective, that’s just me personally. Tbh the whole range between 5’9 and 6’1 were the best heights imo. Once I surpassed that there became issues like not being comfortable in modes of transport, or my bed not feeling big enough, clothes not fitting how I want them to, chairs feeling way too small, etc.
@@yoankcj3661 around the same as I am now. I’m about 195cm so I round up very slightly to 6’5. When I turned 17 I was no more than 1.5cm off that. Maybe even closer tbh. I’ve only grown fractionally since then because I had my growth spurt quite early.

Not gonna lie, my favourite height when I was younger was probably in the range of 180cm - 186cm. I felt like during those years I was the most athletic, agile, comfortable, fastest I’ve ever been. Once I grew past the 186-188 mark, that’s where certain problems started happening. Clothes started feeling meh, lost athleticism, speed, agility, vertical, etc.
Currently I’m 196cm and have been for the past 2.5 years. Hopefully I’m done growing. I wish I stayed around the 186-188cm mark. I feel like that height is where you’re kinda considered tall by societies standards, but also feel good as well.
If you’re around the 180cm-186cm range, you’re good. No point of wanting to grow taller, it’s not worth it at that point .

I’m 5 foot 8….and I’m literally yet to experience a downside…I’d also be amazed if average height really is 5 foot 9/10 considering it’s based on peoples claims. 6'1.5" guy here.....You make a very solid case for 5'8" (and even under), Big Rob! My dad was 6'3" and he always said it was the perfect height, because you gained all the benefits of being tall, without any of the downsides from being "too" tall (doorways, seats, clothes that don't fit, mobility issues when older, etc.) As long as you're comfortable with it, you're both right.

Being the bigger man does have it's merits at times, but it's not all height. I'm a lanky 6'2 with a measured 14" upper arm. If I run into a shorter 5'8 with with a heavily toned 17" arm my instincts will tell me to respect him because he could kick my ass.
Look at it this way....at 6 foot and a quarter, you're much above average height. 50th percentile would be dead-average...you're about 84%. Only 16 in 100 guys will be taller than you.

As long as you are not planning to do basketball or something, 6'1-6'2 is the perfect height. You can even put 5'11 out there since male models are around 5'11-6'2. I think this is the sweet spot.

In my opinion, between 6'2 and 6'3 is the best height for men who can be considered more than just tall (for example if you are 6'0 or 6'0.5 you are tall, but nothing more), and also because 6'2 and 6'3 is less than gigantism.

That many guys are 6'2 is very relative, considering where you live, because not even in Netherlands, which is the country with the tallest people in the world, 6'2 (1.88) is close to the average for men, which is 1.82. If you want to add a few more cm to the ideal height that I mentioned, I think 6'2.5 (1.89) or 6'2.8 (1.90) would be the best height for fairly tall men, but before they reach gigantism or have back problems.

Tallest in my senior year of high school with 1.86 (along with another guy). To college I was the tallest along with another guy with 1.88 . Usually I would be among the tallest in the room, except with a friend of mine who’s 6’4. The thing is that in my country tall people existed but there were very less compared with short people. But the tallest you’d see were 6’2-6’3. Seeing someone over 6’3 was not to see daily, at least in all of my years there I felt in a few occasions small, like two guys who were 6’9 and two other dudes who were 6’7. Only if you go to see a basketball game you would see tall dudes gathered there. When I relocated to another country and city and when I got off the taxi a 200cm guy passed me, then a 207cm guy passed me, the same day i saw an 205cm guy and another one with 213cm. And most people around me where 185-197cm. Total madness. Not all of them. Here In this place half Aare short but the other half are tall as fuck. I saw more 200cm+ dudes in one day than I saw my whole life in my country. I'm 1.76.6. 1.78.5 with regular shoes and yeah it's something nice but I think the perfect height would be 1.82 so when you're old you get 1.80 and 1.82 with shoes. I'd love being 1.90, me being 1.87, but i know it wouldn't make any difference. In my friends groups i'm the tallest or amongst the tallest but whenever i go to a more crowded place i often see guys looking way taller than me. Luckily, I have a point of comparison, my 1.95 dad and I know he just looks slightly taller than me in real life even though I feel he is towering me. So for the guys around my height that share this feeling around taller guys, remember they just look slightly taller and you're still perceived as tall. To me, the ideal height range is 185-195 (6'0"-6'4").

Best part of being avg height is that putting on muscle on your relative stocky frame is much faster and easier that some one who is super tall and lanky but that’s just my experience.

Height is relevant to which country and region you live. Back in my original country most men were about 5’5 to 5’9 which made someone who was 5’11 and above a tall dude and me at 6’2 I was too tall. There were times that I rarely saw someone way taller than me, except from my friend who was 6’4. The tallest you’ll encounter on the road would be 6’2-6’3 over 6’3 would be rare. However in the city I live now ( a different country) here people are tall as hell. When I got out of the taxi a guy who was 6’7 passed me on the road, then a couple of minutes later I saw a 6’10 dude, then on the same day I saw a 6’5 dude another dude who was 6’7 another dude who was about 6’8 and a man who was 7 feet tall. I remember those first days I was like what the hell is going on here, I even saw a girl at 6’3. Damn I saw more 6’6+ guys in a day than I saw my entire life in my country, it’s weird when you are used to be very tall then to feel average. I got used to it. It’s not that everyone is tall in this city, half are short but half are tall as hell. But back in my country majority of people were very short.

I think there is such a thing as the best height. I think the best height is 5'10 for a man and 5'6 for a woman. If you ask why, 1 cm above is Andrew Garfield's height and he looks tall, and 1 cm below looks short but charlie cox seems to have the ideal height and ana de armas seems to have the ideal height for a woman. I think there is such a thing as ideal height and ideal size, but no one can have all the ideal measurements.
I'm italian and i'm a solid 188 cm(6' 2"). Here i'm an half-giant, it's a very confortable height in this country, at each party i'm the taller. Maybe on 100 guys, i'm shorter than 3? Probably. But clearly in other countries this eight remains good but not ever impressive, so i agree with you Rob, good eight depends first to your country. Anyhow, if you live in Europe, generally i will say 6'1 to 6'4 is probably your cup of tea.

I think the perception of real 5'8 is slightly undervalued because people who are 2-3" under - are claiming it. That probably goes for all heights, most people claiming their shoe height at least.
I am 5 feet 8 and it´s a horrible height. Everyone is taller than me, even some women. It doesn´t feel average. And my legs look short

6'3.25" morning height is perfect Imo, not freakishly tall. There are a lot of 6'2' guys out there, it would be nice to edge them out. (I'm 5'11")

Honestly its likely. Everyone likes to repeatedly say you stop growing at 16-18, but i’ve found that its not the case with most people. Maybe you can’t have any major growth spurts, but you can still gain a little height. For me at 18 years old I injected peptides on and off for about 5 months straight and I’ve grown just over an inch. Everyone kept telling me I was wasting my time and that my growth plates were closed and now I’m laughing at them.
I was 5'9 1/4 (176) at that age and I'm 5'11 (180 flat at low) now and im I'm 19 in 3 months. So that's 2 years and 4cm for me so you can defo be over 6 foot. In still growing btw my predicted height is 182cm so you can reach 6ft1. Depending on your genes and parents height
I’m 6’5. I like being tall, but it comes with it disadvantages. Leg room on airplanes, lowerback pain (all the time) and I have to eat a lot to keep this engine running.
The leg room on airplanes or even buses is bad for almost everyone, I think.

To keep up with the engine metaphor, I liken your height range to a Ford F150: tough and durable but difficult to maneuver or to fit into small spaces. I almost backed into a driver coming out of my driveway with my dad's F150 a couple of weeks ago, haha.

I fixed my terrible posture recently and now my afternoon height has risen from 6 ft and half an inch to just over 6 ft 1.

@@rahimrahim6330 I developed rounded shoulders and a slight hunch as a result of farming work. Then I did a stretching routine every morning for 15-20 minutes, as well as making a conscious effort to walk more upright. I realise now that I was lazy to let my posture slip, as I feel stronger now
It was quite bad. I bend down and lean forwards a lot, which naturally shaped my posture over time. It became increasingly difficult for me to stand up straight without awkwardness or pain. I also have a big head, so my forward neck made quite a difference to my height.
Yes, you could probably increase your height by up to half an inch or so, depending on the muscles in your back. I have personally found that I can only maintain my good posture through regular exercise, always sitting upright, and trying to keep my chin tucked in to avoid my neck from returning to its old curvature
Yea fixing bad posture can increase ur height sometimes by a whole inch maybe more for certain people

I’m 6 feet tall but always wanted to be a bit taller like 6’3-6’4 because when I was a kid all doctors told me that I ll grow to 6’5 or about it but I didn’t and now I m 24 so I think I have a chance to grow up maximum to an inch. But interesting case is that I’ve increased in height after 20 about 2 and a half inches

I am 5 ft 5 man and I stopped growing when I was 14-15 because of my kidney disease since childhood. That is a miracle that I reached that height though, most of kidney patient that I know remaind under 5 ft and I am talking about guys. One guy who I know is around 150 cm maybe 4'11 and 30 years old.

If you tap the stadiometer down then it flattens hair, such that it's pretty much negligible. Certain thicker hairstyles might add a mm or 2, or if you aren't tapping it down hard enough.

This will sound weird but I think the shorter the average the better, the taller the individual the better. In the Netherlands you don't really want to be 177 although this is the perfect height in another country
In general anywhere between 186-191 (6’1-6’3) Is probably the ideal
6’1 (my height) being more well rounded height, while 6’3 being more on the tall side but not freakishly tall. 6’2 is probably the best height overall for men

I'm 6'2" and reached that height around the age of 16/17. When I was about 11 I was 5'5" and around 14/15 I was 5'9".
I know someone who is 6'11" (rounds to 7') and he was about 6' when 11 and could buy 18 rated products without ID!

A man can even stop growing at 13 and how are you saying to someone hey relax you’ll be. You don’t even know how he’s genetics work. I was 5’10 at 13 and I’m 6’2 adult. I was growing rapidly between 11-13 . Then after 13 it took me another 5 years to slowly reach 6’2 by the end of the age of 18.
My cousin was 5’7 at 12 and he still is at 26. A guy I knew was 6’3 at 13 and he still is. Another one was 5’9 at 14 and he still is. My friend was 5’1 at 13 and he’s 6’1 now. Another one of my friends was 5’5 at 13 and he’s 6’5 now. A guy who was playing basketball was 6’6 and he told he was 6’6 since 13 years old. You see everyone grows on its own way and according to their genetics. You can’t say to someone hey you are 6’3 at 13 you’ll be 6’11 as adult. That’s not 100% accurate because some kids enter puberty earlier than the others and reach their max height early while others grow later on.
The only reason men care for height is women/ dominating other men (mostly for women). Nothing else matters when it comes to height.
