      I reposted this here.
---> Tall Women die more often alone, Tall Women have fewer children or more often no children, Tall Women have fewer relationships with Men, Tall Women have less Sex, Tall Women are more depressed, all this because a Tall Woman is waiting for a Tall Man; but Tall Men want Short Women not Tall Women. So, Tall Women are themselves their bane of their existence.
Now...this next sentence is hard as I forget what this is called, but the crank/angle in a Woman's neck is important, at a certain age this is the angle She had to tilt her head up to look at her Father, maybe when She was 4-5 years old. As an adult; this is what She instinctively is looking for, it usually tends then to be a 6'2"-5" Man.
So, in a World where all this is true, Tall Women pass on Men shorter than them; and without knowing; they die a little each time.

I'm 5'7". I was rejected by a woman shorter than me specifically because I wasn't over 6' tall. But I've also been pursued by women taller than me. And most of my relationships were with women around my height.
Based on my experience, it just depends on the woman. I never thought a 5'11" female high jumper would be interested in me, but she was. And I never thought a woman shorter than me would reject me over my height, but she did.
My advice is to take care of yourself, be fit, and present yourself well. There's nothing you can do about your height so don't even give it a second thought. The right ones will like you and the wrong ones won't.

This! Had a girl tell me I am forever limited in my life and options due to height. Had shorter girls than me reject me. Then I gained about 20 pounds and met a girl taller than me by a head or more than that... she liked me. Then met a girl shorter than the previous girl but slightly taller than me... she liked me too. Has nothing to do with height. As a taller guy myself I’ll always stand with my shorter bros and call out height-double standards/hypocracy everytime I hear/sense it from a woman. And it’s funny how easily you can make them see that they mistreated alot of men without realizing it themselfs.
One example that I like to use with them is: “What if you could filter bra size in dating apps like bumble/tinder? What if guys would write “only girls with C+” - guess that would create a big outcry by most women, while demanding a height requirement/filter seems to be perfectly fine”

The entire western society does not allow you to have this conversation though, that's precisely the point. This example is something the black pill men have raised many many times over the last decade but everyone just bats back the argument with semi-cancel culture stating that everyone saying this is an incel.
Women are not allowed to be judged on things outside of their control such as their weight and bra size however, to a very great extent, both those things CAN be controlled. Weight is partly genetics sure, but it's also what you eat and your exercise levels. If you've not been given the best hand of cards genetics wise then you have to put more effort in than those luckier women than you I'm afraid. But stats show that most western women are overweight today (more than 50%), so how can that possibly be genetics when this was not the case 2 generations ago? Bra size, well women can just get plastic surgery to increase this, and it's not ridiculously expensive either, compared to the insane lengths a man would need to go to to have surgery in order to increase his height by a few inches. The operations are incredibly dangerous and long-winded to go through. Women can get their boobs done and healed within a matter of months.
How is it logical or fair or KIND for any woman to judge a man based on his height when it is something completely outside of his control...? 🤔

As a 5’2 guy 31 year old guy who’s been rejected my whole life, ive come to terms with the fact I’ll most likely be alone and die alone.
The thing with being a short guy is that women won’t be attracted to you, and many times they don’t know why; it’s at a subconscious level.
I haven’t been told point blank, as some people in the comments have mentioned, that I’m too short. However this doenst make matters any better. As I said, a lot of times a lot of women don’t know why they’re not attracted to you.
Being a short guy, you’re simply invisible to women in terms of attraction. No matter how great your conversational skills are, most people (women included) will see as you a great, interesting, lively guy to enjoy time, but you’ll never be a romantic/sexual option for them. Even if they’re not “put off” by you, they’ll won’t be “attracted” to you. Their feelings towards you will simply be…neutral.
I also dislike it when people say “just be confident.” Confidence makes absolutely no difference if a woman is not initially attracted to you. Confidence cannot manufacture attraction, it simply retains, and increases, attraction that is already there.

Exactly. It's just a preference, but not a requirement. I can't tell you how many guys I see with beautiful women who are considerably shorter than me, and I'm a little over 5'10". If it was that strict, none of these guys would have girlfriends or wives, let alone attractive ones with great personalities. In real life, many other factors can outweigh a lack of tallness (and please, it's not just wealth, although sure it helps; work on everything else first, get some dating experience, and then tell me all they're looking for is height and wealth). It's similar to how we all prefer women with say, a more generous posterior or bust, or a beautiful face, but plenty of us would be willing to date a thinner girl, or even a girl who's pretty but isn't stunning (I can't tell you how many times I've found a girl beautiful who would not make the cut for a modeling gig, but I still found her very pretty; they're not ugly, just not stunning - you know the phenomenon I'm talking about brother,), if she had a lot of other qualities we valued, and it happens every day. It's the same for women in my experience. They don't value the same things we do mind you, but they're willing to make a trade off for other qualities they want. Build yourself up in those areas, make yourself valuable, and height won't prevent you from finding someone to share your life with, not working on those other factors will. Just look around and tell me with a straight face that shorter than average men can't be with great women, and that all women only get romantically involved with 6 foot rich guys. Exactly.

No kidding, I’ve actually heared in IRL from some, one of them being a particularly beautiful woman who was herself around 5’9 / 5’10 who told that she preferred the proportions of men being on the shorter spectrum - but yeah, those of course are the minority - but then you also have to consider, when women say tall, we often overestimate what they are looking for in real life (and broad shoulder and other features can compensate quite a bit) - only online dating with a focus on numbers is kinda toxic in terms of height preferences

    • @cseptember6562

That is where a noticeable difference from average height (5'9) begins. I dont think that is an overestimation. When most say tall they mean relative to the height of other men not to their own height. I dont think a 5'2 girl would consider a 5'8 or 5'9 man tall even though they have decent height difference.
I also think the impact of broad shoulders is overvalued. Its not a make or break trait like height can be and it only really helps taller men. I doubt a short guy with broad shoulders would see any significant boost from it.

Vibes and actions are significantly more important when it comes to attracting women (for long-term relationships), and that just doesn't bear out in those kind of environments. I guarantee, if you compared the kinds of men women have dated/are dating to their stated preferences, there would be major discrepancies. He nailed it. It's not about being taller than 'them' it's about how your height looks in comparison to other men/women around you. Even if it’s bad, they stay because this is what we learned from our ancestors: stick with familiar things because you have a higher chance of survival.

He's wrong on height. The cut off being 6'1, I think he's wishfully thinking there. Around 6 feet, your height doesn't hurt or help. Once you get to 6'2, you are much more attractive to most women. Every inch above that, only adds to it. There might be a cut off, and the woman's height might play more into that. I've only known a handful of people who were around 7 feet tall. But most guys I know at 6'6 and 6'7 did unreasonably well with women with little effort.

And in case of really short girls, they want to compensate their height with their man’s, so that their son doesn’t end up being short. Well 5'9" is the average height for adult males in the US, as Chris mentioned - but someone who's 5'7" is exactly the 25th percentile/shorter than 75% of men, and 5'10" is taller than 60%+ of men.
I agree people's perspective on height is really warped and way too much energy's wasted caring about something so superficial and pointless, but they're specifically talking about relative height dating preferences here and the range you gave is pretty huge and not representative of the average, according to the official data (which is publicly available from the CDC's 2015-2016 national height survey, if anyone wants to check it out).

The biggest physical/sexual threat to women is NOT other women and it’s not children. It’s MEN and always has been for all of history. Of course the ideal isn’t gonna be substantially taller/more intimidating than herself, it’s gonna be substantially taller/more intimidating than the average man.

Arguably, the salient advice would be to cultivate your USPs: Eric "Lizardman" Sprague might indeed alienate 95% of the theoretical dating-pool, but I can guarantee that the remaining 5% won't care less whether he's 5'6" or 6'6"-because there's only one Eric Sprague, and within the domain of 'Lizardman embodiment' he reigns unchallenged.
