I am used to the lacking of lesser cost opticals so am So Pleased with this Holosun optic that I will never purchase another brand. The 32 moa circle allows near instant target recovery and stikes for me, even in full sun, and is also super bright in the dark. As a person with a diagnosed astigmatism, I have had no issues with 507c in red using the 32 MOA circle with the center dot. I have it on my competition firearm, and I love it. I decided to try a green 507k for my carry, and oddly enough my eyes couldn't handle the green. Although I picked up the green faster, it really flared on me and I couldn't utilize it. This is not an issue with the optic, it is completely my eyes and my cornea. I wound up returning it for the 507k in red and that's perfect for me. I highly advise to test these in person and see what works for you. They are fantastic sights.
Same here. I tried the hs510c in red and green and while the green was slightly easier to pick up, it flared so bad for me that I had to stick with the red. Not the fault of the sight itself, just my eyes. Edit: I am a bit color blind too though so that might be why.
thats because our eyes are keyed into seeing green more strongly than the other colors due to that photoreceptor type being more numerous than the others.
That really is subjective. Green is at the center of the spectrum so visualizing it is a more 'relaxed' experience. The red sensing cones are more numerous, though a bit less sensitive generally than other colors. Green blooms more for me than red or yellow. I've looked through multiple green holosuns, and I would have had a serious case of buyer's remorse had I bought one without looking through it. Red is sharp and stands out for me, especially in the 6MOA version.

Ive.know for quite some time that most human eyes are predisposed to seeing green over red. I still chose red even with a slight astigmatism because I live in a sea of green and shoot outdoors mostly. In my house I would choose green though. Interesting subject and I'm always interested why someone chooses one over the other. I think the word "best" should be reserved for the person using it. Truthfully, after buying a bunch of 507c's (which are great dots) I have regrets. Why? I bought my wife a 407K w/6MOA dot and it's every bit as awesome as the 507c just without the extra 65MOA ring. It's available for 100 bucks less too. The ACSS reticle was my end all be all for a while, but that 6 MOA dot on the 407K is so easy to pick up, it's a no brainer to save a hundo and still get a great, durable dot, IMO.
Hey this is a great comment .. and we like the 6 MOA dot a lot too ... HOWEVER I have to point out that the 507c is a larger optic than the 407k. The 407k is the micro dot .... the 507k is the same size but has the MRS 32/2 MOA dot. The 507c and 407c are for the larger pistols or compacts ... and it's worth noting that the 407c has a 2 MOA dot unlike it's 407k little brother.
I picked up the 407k for my Ruger Max-9 after watching lots of videos on red dots. Being my first optic, I wasn’t sure I’d like it. I wanted the 507k for the circle/dot reticle options but didn’t want to pay a hundred bucks more for something I might not like in the first place. Turns out, I love the red dot! After zeroing at 10 yards and over a thousand rounds, I don’t know how I shot without it. Still considering upgrading to a 507k, but reading this comment makes me think I’ll stick with the 6MOA dot. It really is easy to pick up and I’m not sure if my aging eyes would do as well with a 2MOA dot, or the circle dot. For now, the 407k has flawlessly done what it’s supposed to do and I’m very happy with it. Tons of videos on dots later, I know for sure I’m sticking with Holosun either way. Their options are becoming endless and at the prices, just blow the competition out of the water. I think the Trijicon people have fallen asleep or something. And their prices are ridiculous for something with less features than Holosun has. Also, removing the dot to change the battery is just silly. The battery tray in the side is genius. I really like the idea of an enclosed and sealed emitter but so far I haven’t actually needed that for just range shooting. Speaking of the range, that’s where I’m headed today. @@ZhuJo99 , Yes it does. The 507k has a 32 MOA ring that can be turned off, leaving a 2 MOA dot. Don’t get me wrong my friend, I really like the 507k for the ring, it’s super cool. One advantage is, if you see the edge of the ring in the window, you can quickly find the center dot. That’s the whole point of the ring and I have no argument with that. It makes sense. And nobody will argue that it doesn’t look great. My first choice would have been the 507k for that reason. Especially when I was younger, there’d be no other choice but a dot and circle but none of these things existed when I was younger. Shooting pistols with only iron sights for decades sort of makes you wary of “improvements” to what you’ve already mastered over the years. Red dots were out a long time before I pussed-out and actually got one just to try. It took a lot for me and most people my age to change my game this much at all. I didn’t want it complicated with all sorts of parameters. (I can barely work my cellphone), Just a bright red dot will be fine. I really like the circle/dot on the 507k but found it more distracting than helpful. Again, to each his own. A six MOA dot on the 407k easily acquired and quickly, works great for me and I’m used to it. I used to be used to only iron sights. No need to complicate it much further. The “shake-awake” feature is a misnomer. There’s no “shaking” involved in making the dot light up. That in itself, shocks a caveman like me. Set the dot for 10 minutes to sleep and set the pistol on the shelf. In exactly 10 minutes the dot goes off. Amazing. Let’s see what happens if I just touch the pistol very lightly? The damn dot comes right on. I love that! Shake awake my ass, I barely touched it! Of course this all means the dot will be on continually while carrying. As it should be. Battery life is expected to be 20 to 50 thousand hours. Who gives a shit? Have batteries, will travel. Just like I would a needed flashlight in the woods. But after a year now, I haven’t needed to change the red dot battery. Go figure. Technology is frightening to us cavemen. Edit: Happy Thanksgiving Day @Freedom Gorilla and everyone! You may want to mention the mount foot print and mount difference between the two red dots. It is pointless to buy a red dot that does not fit. Holosun does not make a red dot that has the Doctor / Noblex / Vortex / Burris Fastfire footprint standard. This is one of the most popular mounts.
Good point, I just updated the video description with that note. When making the video, I just assumed people would know, but better not assume and be on the safe side.
@@freedomgorilla1Reason why I checked the description. I’m completely new to the gun market/scene with absolutely little to zero knowledge just a week prior. I’m assuming foot print is just the gun term for mounting bracket for optics? And does Holosun include multiple mountings for different pistols or do I have to buy those separately?
I believe one must purchase an adapter plate to use a particular “red dot” on a given firearm. Problem is the footprint available. Some guns have a “cut,” or in other words, footprint, and depending upon the red dot choice, an adapter may be needed. However, some cuts are simply not big enough to accommodate some red dots. For Example, an RMR cut, or Zev cut, will only accommodate certain “red dots.” I put that in parentheses because a red dot by definition does not encompass all Devices. An RMR cut is smaller than the cut that comes on a Glock MOS Model. The RMR cut is smaller than the Glock MOS cut, and therefore the RMR cut isn’t big enough for a Vortex Venom to fit, so in that case one must choose a “red dot” like the holosun 507c x2 because it has a footprint of an RMR cut, like the trigicon. Not sure if that helped at all, but it’s what I discovered trying to find an adapter plate so I could use my vortex Venom on an RMR cut slide, which I found I can’t because the vortex Venom has a bigger footprint than an RMR cut can accept. So, in my case I have to (there’s others that share a similar footprint) buy a Holosun 507c to put on my new Zaffiri G20 slide. Now, I’m trying to decide between a green or red reticle. I’ve got a bad astigmatism, and a dot looks more like a blurry ampersand. I wish you the best.
@johnn7726 It is crazy confusing. Not being a wise guy but Google it. "Footprints/Mounting Standards on Red Dot Sights" It gets confusing. Some manufacturers of red dots only use one footprint. Some manufactures have their proprietary footprint. Some manufacturers will offer several of the popular standards. It's a little frustrating since they can be so close but not fit. It can keep one red dot from fitting all your pistols. So you have to buy another red dot to fit. There are several standards. It's a mess. It can be navigated, but you have to know what footprint you need. Cheers
Know one really talks about the "HS & "HE" versions. Which stands for "Standard" and "Elite". I got the HE407c x2, 2moa green dot for less than $200 shipped from Optics Planet using a coupon code & on sale. Mine has the solar panel & is all fully automatic but you can change it to manual. Mine also came battery pre-installed.
Thanks for the comparison... could not figure out what the differences, if any, were aside from dimensions and the solar ability on the "C" model. I use both the "K" and the "C" models... the K mostly on micro-9s and the C on full sized pistols. Just updated my old XD9 (circa '07, with dim, failing tritium sights) with SA's new optics cut slide, P/N 4901, and an SA RMR adapter plate (P/N XD5073) as well. All I needed was another 507C and you guys happened to have it at the best price I've found the last few weeks, so you earned a new customer today!
Definitely don't see any problem with that if it will fit the gun. You would have less weight .. you will have a smaller window, but nothing wrong with doing that. Like I said you just have to make sure it will fit - that the mounting footprint is the same. The 507k has an modified RMSc footprint and the 507c has an RMR footprint.
So let me get this straight the shake wake doesn’t need to be set it automatically turns on when it senses motion? Reason I ask is I’ve had other optics that claim to have “shake wake” yet no matter how hard I shake it doesn’t turn on unless I push the plus button.
I have a fittment question you may or may not know. I am looking for a direct fit for a Hellcat Pro and am having trouble finding information on whether or not it requires an additional plate for mounting. Thanks for any input.
You’ll need a plate, we have a video on it and here’s the blog post with links to the plate: freedomgorilla.com/blogs/news/best-hellcat-optics-adapter-plates-how-to
Don’t know if you’ll see this, but the comment about the “star burst” for astigmatism people. My dominate eye does have a slight astigmatism so I was thinking to going to the green dot based on one of your comments about how users have reported that they seem better if you got this eye prob. But I was gonna go with the 6MOA instead of the 2MOA. But here you point out that it could be an issue. Long story to the simple question…. With my astigmatism, would you recommend a 2 or a 6MOA for EPS-GR-6?
I thought the green dot might be hype/ the new thing people are taking about. I tried both and the clarity of the green (for my eyes) was noticeably better vs red.
In the welding world, you can get different colored lenses. Because the different light colors can help your vision. It makes me wonder if different dot colors would make a huge difference.
That’s bc you have it in auto brightness mode. You can easily have it work like the 507K by putting it in manual brightness mode. You just hold the + button down until the reticle changes
No they won’t. Then507k is the only one that will fit and it needs and adapter plate. We have a vortex defender that would fit with no adapter plate on our website
Scott, trust me, buy the red, not the green. The red is much brighter than the green and works much easier on sunny days at the range. The green can be incredibly hard to pick up when it's it's super bright out, at least to my eyes.
Thanks for this very informative video, this is far the best video I’ve seen so far on these model. I’m looking to get the 507K, possibly the green dot for my Glock 43X, after I get the slide milled for it.
Mike thank you for the kind words - we really appreciate that. 507k green is a very nice optic and would pair very well with the G43X. If you ever have any questions feel free to reach out to us!
I just purchased the 507k series for a s&w Equalizer and the screws provided with the optic do not fit although the optic fits like a glove. Any suggestions on obtaining the correct fitting screws.
The C models fit anything with an RMR mount. The K models fit sig p365x, xl, x macro, sig p322, and mossberg 940 tactical directly. To mount to. Glocks or other brands you need an adapter plate.
The red dot looks 10x clearer in your videos compared to other videos I've watched. Also thanks for putting out such a high quality and informative video on these 2 red dots.
I have a canik mete sft pro, what I've seen that people use the 507k with the plastic plate with the pistol, shave down the back 2 nubs to fit right and it will co-witness. But do you have a metal plate so I can mount the 507c .I think the canik has a rmrsc? Or rmrcc .thankyou I'm wanting the green dot
Just looked it up. It’s got the rmrcc footprint. I’m not too familiar w the gun but the 507c is quite a bit bigger and wider. Seems like they made that gun to mount the micro optics.
Just found this video th-cam.com/video/a7E8ZYgU7ak/w-d-xo.html don’t know anything about the company but maybe that’s what you would need. The 507c is an RMR footprint
@@freedomgorilla1 ok thankyou very much I'll check out the video I didn't realize the 507c was bigger than the k model , I'll look tho I might have to just order the 507k, thankyou sir
@@scottgaskin8574 perfect glad we could help. check out our site for a great deal and fast UPS shipping on that k model! there is a 407k 6MOA red or green version and the 507k red or green version.
Those are two different products. One is for thin, compact slides(G43, etc.) and the other for wider slides(G19,etc.). Makes no sense to compare them. We sell lots of them at our shop. Most of the law enforcement agencies in our area use them. Much better sight and price than any Trijicon. And they just came out with the SCS MOS that fits directly to double stack MOS Glocks without having to use a mounting plate.
You can mount both on certain guns with certain mounting plates. a 507K mounted on a G19 is the same width as the slide. A 507c sticks out further from the slide edges.
Makes perfect sense to compare different products. It makes no sense to compare the same product. These can be used for other firearms besides handguns.
You can just tell by looking at the two dock side-by-side the solar powered one is way bigger. Thanks for the help brother but learn a little better and come back.
Do you know what footprint your gun is? Does it come with multiple plates? I’m not an expert on that HK if it has multiple plates it probably has an RMR plate in which case the 507C would fit
Holosun support is a challenge, their website process produces inconsistent output and their response to emails and calls hasnt resulted in solutions. I will avoid them in the future
Hey thanks for the view. We compared them because people have asked us the difference, so I thought we’d clarify and highlight a few features between the two
You are comparing a micro red dot to a full size red dot. There is no comparison since they don’t go o the same size guns. Also they are even the same model number lol.
Hey thanks for the view. Yup one is micro and one is full-size, people wonder about the sizes and ask us so sizes are mentioned in the video. But with a mounting adapter you could install the 507k or 507c onto whatever you want. I could put either onto my Glock 17 or p365. We just wanted to provide some additional info based on what people email us asking. So this is a breakdown of the differences so people can decide what they want.
Holosun lost my business. NO GOOD..... You NEED to mention the footprint on these. Holosun does not make Doctor/Noblex/Vortex mount footprint. It really makes me PO. They make Trijicon RMR, Aimpoint, Odd ball Unique footprint mounts, but No DOCTOR? That frustrates me. I bought one of the early Holsun Red Dots, encloded type for my AR15. Love it, still works well. I now have a pistol with an adapter plate and need DOCTOR CUT Red Dot. Could I get another plate. NO NO NO... The Doctor cut footprint is common, cost me $21 and is titanium! The Trijicon RMR optic plate for my pistol is $60. I'm not spending a fortune on red dots adapter optic plates. I would love a 407 or 507 but NO.... I went with a Vortex Venom. Holosun lost my business. ARE YOU LISTENING HOLOSUN... They make 3 or more sight foot prints but not one of the most popular? DUMB.
The only major difference is the solar charging panel in the 507C! Neither is better because they are for different platforms. The K is for micro compact and the C is for compacts and full size! 🤡
Also, the solar powered hollow sun has a lot bigger footprint than the standard 50 OK so they are not the same size another dude on TH-cam that should not be on TH-cam
Hey no they don't. The "C" models are an RMR footprint. the "K" models are a modified RMSc footprint. C's are for compact and fullsize and the K is for a sub/micro compact. The K's are probably 20% smaller in size.
@@StylesBlender well you are actually in a position where you can use either. You will need an adapter plate no matter what. But if you get an RMR adapter plate you would be able to mount the "C" if you got an RMSc adapter plate you could mount the "K" you would just have to make sure the plate will work with the holosun K series. I just got a PSA dagger which is a glock 19 clone .. and it comes with the RMR cut. I am going to put a "K" series on it because it's lower profile. The "C" will stick out slightly wider than your slide. The "K" is the same width. So it's up to you. The "C" will give you a bigger window size and the solar with auto brightness, so it's personal preference based on how you want to build the gun. Like i said for me, I want the sleeker profile so I am going to use the K on the dagger.
@@StylesBlender I also want to mention that holosun came out with the SCS MOS which is made specifically for the glock MOS so no adapter plate is needed and it's low profile to use the iron sights.
@@freedomgorilla1 thank you so much for the explanation. I originally wanted to mount the scs with no plate. I recently installed idot suppressor height sights on my 19 which covers up way to much of the window on the scs so now im looking at other options. Upon my research im finding that the holosun 407k is a little more durable than the 507k and dosent have the res dot flickering issue. I have time, just doing research and weighting out my options. I believe im going to go with the CHPWS plate along with the 407k…. Unless i decide to change my sights again, than i will go back to the SCS.

For
Example, an RMR cut, or Zev cut, will only accommodate certain “red dots.” I put that in parentheses because a red dot by definition does not encompass all Devices. An RMR
cut is smaller than the cut that comes on a Glock MOS
Model. The RMR cut is smaller than the Glock MOS
cut, and therefore the RMR cut isn’t big enough for a Vortex Venom to fit, so in that case one must choose a “red dot” like the holosun 507c x2 because it has a footprint of an RMR cut, like the trigicon. Not sure if that helped at all, but it’s what I discovered trying to find an adapter plate so I could use my vortex
Venom on an RMR
cut slide, which I found I can’t because the vortex
Venom has a bigger footprint than an
RMR cut can accept.
"Footprints/Mounting Standards on Red Dot Sights"
It gets confusing.
Cheers
Great review. I appreciate the insight
Most in depth review on these by far. Thank you
Glad it helped, thanks for the comment! If you have any questions just let us know via comments or website chat. 😃
I love my 507c X2 it's great. Holosun makes a solid product for an affordable price.
This video answered all my question about how the dove tail adapter plates mount to the slide.
Question???. Can I just buy one and mount on my Glock 17 ,Gen 4.....it doesn't have the holes on top....😮
Great video. My 507K X2 green dot is arriving tomorrow and I can't wait to try it out on my P365X.
Great 👍
Excellent review, thanks! About to order now.
Your weldome
My 508t's (Basically a Titanium 507c) are 3 years old, still using the same battery that came with them!!!
thats awesome
Thanks for the comparison... could not figure out what the differences, if any, were aside from dimensions and the solar ability on the "C" model. I use both the "K" and the "C" models... the K mostly on micro-9s and the C on full sized pistols. Just updated my old XD9 (circa '07, with dim, failing tritium sights) with SA's new optics cut slide, P/N 4901, and an SA RMR adapter plate (P/N XD5073) as well. All I needed was another 507C and you guys happened to have it at the best price I've found the last few weeks, so you earned a new customer today!
Thanks John, we appreciate it!
What do you think about putting the 507k on full-size guns? In order to keep the optic flush with the slide?
Definitely don't see any problem with that if it will fit the gun. You would have less weight .. you will have a smaller window, but nothing wrong with doing that. Like I said you just have to make sure it will fit - that the mounting footprint is the same. The 507k has an modified RMSc footprint and the 507c has an RMR footprint.
@@freedomgorilla1 thanks for the advice 👍
@@bar_yama your welcome anytime!
So let me get this straight the shake wake doesn’t need to be set it automatically turns on when it senses motion? Reason I ask is I’ve had other optics that claim to have “shake wake” yet no matter how hard I shake it doesn’t turn on unless I push the plus button.
Correct, as soon as you pick up the red dot it’ll turn on so you don’t have to press any buttons
Good to know thanks
Nice job. Thanks so much.
Thanks for watching!
I have a fittment question you may or may not know. I am looking for a direct fit for a Hellcat Pro and am having trouble finding information on whether or not it requires an additional plate for mounting. Thanks for any input.
You’ll need a plate, we have a video on it and here’s the blog post with links to the plate: freedomgorilla.com/blogs/news/best-hellcat-optics-adapter-plates-how-to
Just had issues with the 507K times two drifting up into the right turn it in for another dot let’s see what happens
Anyone know that optic fits prefect on a fn509c compact tatical thanks ?
I thought the green dot might be hype/ the new thing people are taking about. I tried both and the clarity of the green (for my eyes) was noticeably better vs red.
We’ve heard similar stories from list of customers. I wear glasses and I personally like the 407k green the most too
In the welding world, you can get different colored lenses. Because the different light colors can help your vision. It makes me wonder if different dot colors would make a huge difference.
I like the Holosun 507K and I added the new Westbuilt2a EBS G9 so I can carry a backup battery for my red dot!
Awesome video gonna check out the green dot one too!
Right on!
I have the 507k milled in on my taurus g3c, its a good set up!
Cool
Great job and it helped me a lot
Glad it helped
I bought a 507 C and the brightness of the dot dimmed down whenever the solar panel was not getting light. I like the 507 K better.
That’s bc you have it in auto brightness mode. You can easily have it work like the 507K by putting it in manual brightness mode. You just hold the + button down until the reticle changes
I noticed that as well.
So can the 507 k fit the 507c pic rail the 507c comes with
No they are different footprints. And the 507c doesn’t come with a pic rail anymore.
Great video !!!🤙🏼
Thank you
Any idea if either of these will fit the hellcat pro without an adapter plate?
No they won’t. Then507k is the only one that will fit and it needs and adapter plate. We have a vortex defender that would fit with no adapter plate on our website
I'm looking at buying the 507k green dot for my canik I wish they would of put the solar power on the k like they did the c.
Yea that is one feature it doesn’t have.
Check out the 508t from holosun... it had the flat top like the k model but has the solar panel
@@michaelchurgin7027 ok thanks man I'll see if that one can fit on the canik .I'll research it
@@michaelchurgin7027 We have the 508t's as well .. they are not small like a 507k they are the size of a 507c
Scott, trust me, buy the red, not the green. The red is much brighter than the green and works much easier on sunny days at the range. The green can be incredibly hard to pick up when it's it's super bright out, at least to my eyes.
Will the K series fit any handgun?🤔.... I have the Sprinfield XDm Elite compact 10mm...
Just put the 507C on my 92FS. This was perfect timing. Great job. TY
I am planning on buying the 507C for my x micro comp do I need a plate and the shoulder screws for it
You have a sig p365? Thr 507K will fit. The 507C will not
I just purchased the 507k series for a s&w Equalizer and the screws provided with the optic do not fit although the optic fits like a glove. Any suggestions on obtaining the correct fitting screws.
We’re currently working on stocking them. But you need 6-32 x 1/2” screws.
can you see the pistol's iron sights through these optics? im specifically wondering about the smith and wesson 5.7
You may have some visibility of the irons. But not much. You would want the 507k
Varies by platform. With my Glock 17 MOS I have no visibility so I’ll have to purchase some suppressor sights.
Good review keep it up
Ty!
Thanks great video very helpful 👍🏿
YW .. ty for the feedback!
Holy sh!t. Thank you!
Your welcome
Great information
Thank you!
What brand guns will these work with?
The C models fit anything with an RMR mount. The K models fit sig p365x, xl, x macro, sig p322, and mossberg 940 tactical directly. To mount to. Glocks or other brands you need an adapter plate.
@@freedomgorilla1 ok. Thank you for the reply. Probably put one on my wife’s sig 365xl.
@@jasonwolfe9892 awesome let us know if you need any recommendations or help!
You must have a really great camera?
Why
@@freedomgorilla1 yep I checked out the video I'm going with the k model so I still have the co witness, that solved it,thanks man
@@scottgaskin8574 perfect glad we could help. check out our site for a great deal and fast UPS shipping on that k model! there is a 407k 6MOA red or green version and the 507k red or green version.
Does this come with a Picatinny mount?
no it doesn't ... no holosun's do
Those are two different products.
Everyone thinks C series for G19,. I hate how it hangs out the side, K series is the perfect fit.
If i have a 507c (rmr cut), can i just switch to a 507k?
You can if you get one of our rmr to k series adapter plates
You can just tell by looking at the two dock side-by-side the solar powered one is way bigger. Thanks for the help brother but learn a little better and come back.
What's the difference
Can this be used in an AR15 platform?
Nope... That's illegal in all 57 states.
How can we order for these gadgets and how much?
They are on our website freedom gorilla dot com. Prices range anywhere from around $200 to 300+
Здравствуйте,этот прицел выдержит АК 74?
it would but you need a mount
Hey bro great video 📹 👍 👌 and if you ever need to free up some space with all that gear my place would be a good home😀
Thank you. We’ll keep that in mind lol
The 507k is more clear than my 600 dollar eotec, I’m very happy with mine in my xD elite
Great to hear. Thx for sharing!
Do thay fit a hkvp9ol
Do you know what footprint your gun is? Does it come with multiple plates? I’m not an expert on that HK if it has multiple plates it probably has an RMR plate in which case the 507C would fit
Rmr style mounting?
The 507c and other C models are an RMR footprint. The 507k and other k models are a modified RMSC footprint.
@@freedomgorilla1 thanks, does the 507k come with an rmr adapter plate?
@@ericpalmer3588 no because the "k" series is a modified RMSc footprint. Holosun does sell an RMR to "k" series adapter plate though.
Well damn, I should've watched this first.
You can't compare the two because they are different sizes for different size handguns
False. We did compare the two and i can put either on on multiple full size, compacts, subcompacts, sub guns or rifles if i wanted
Holosun support is a challenge, their website process produces inconsistent output and their response to emails and calls hasnt resulted in solutions. I will avoid them in the future
Am I the only one who for some reason pick up with the eye easier and like the Red dot better? 🤔 lol
why even compare these? I own both and would never use them on the same type of firearms
Hey thanks for the view. We compared them because people have asked us the difference, so I thought we’d clarify and highlight a few features between the two
WTF. Because people who do not own both would like to know the differences and similarities.
K all day

DUMB.
The RMR and Aimpoint footprints are the industry standard. The Doctor footprint is the oddball.
The only major difference is the solar charging panel in the 507C! Neither is better because they are for different platforms. The K is for micro compact and the C is for compacts and full size! 🤡
There’s quite a lot of guns you can put both on
there is a big diffewrence the Holosun 507c has a RMR foot print the 507k is smaller it will only fit a single stack
Also, the solar powered hollow sun has a lot bigger footprint than the standard 50 OK so they are not the same size another dude on TH-cam that should not be on TH-cam

507K, nobody needs a solar panel on their red dot. Maybe one on your roof or in your backyard.
Very good informative video. Subscribed.
thank you we appreciate it!
I ordered the red dot thinking I was getting the green. Oh well, I’ll be okay
Do these have the same footprint?
Hey no they don't. The "C" models are an RMR footprint. the "K" models are a modified RMSc footprint. C's are for compact and fullsize and the K is for a sub/micro compact. The K's are probably 20% smaller in size.
@@freedomgorilla1 so than i would go with the C for my glock 19mos?
