About Me: I'm not a pro mountain biker. Just an average guy loving all the adventures mountain biking has to offer. I do tons of volunteer work for my local bike park and I try and get out to build trails as much as I can when I am not riding or working. My dream is to be able to ride every day or help out with maintaining/ building trails.

You have to go early in the morning to avoid the hikers and horses.

Yes, that is a solid idea. Especially on the weekends. Even then there probably be quite a few people before you finish riding

I'm moving to Auburn next month so your videos are getting me pumped! I'm planning a ride at Hidden Falls on Monday. Do you have a recommended route for a first-timer at Hidden Falls?

I don't have a recommended route unfortunately. I think the route I did was pretty good. that area has tons of trails. I think my Strava is still in description if you are curious

The park allows bike on the trails too?

As far as I know. I've mountain biked there several times now and never had a problem. There are a few trails that do not but they are marked very well. The trail going to the main water fall is hiking only.

100%, non of the climbs are really that hard and tech level is very low.

Hidden Falls is good beginner area. I did a similar loop on my gravel bike.

Hidden Falls is great for starting out. Granite Bay is also another great place to ride.

Trail around Lake Natoma is great for beginners.
