Hello everyone! I am sharing an unboxing and first impressions of my new Herman Miller Embody Gaming chair in the colour GALAXY! 💚🌟
I will be showing the full unboxing, first impressions and going in detail the full adjustment guide for the Herman Miller Embody Gaming chair.
I've been looking to upgrade my desk chair for a while now and after weeks of debating, I bought the Herman Miller Embody in one of their brand NEW colours GALAXY. They recently released these new colours with white frames. The Galaxy colour with the white frame is STUNNING and I AM IN LOVE! Personally, my favourite colour is teal so that will also contribute to that ofc! 💗✨
I bought this during the recent sale so the price came down quite a bit than the normal full price. I hope this video is helpful for anyone considering getting a Herman MIller Embody Galaxy!
For me this chair is one of THE most comfortable ergonomic chairs I have ever sat on, for the steep price I wouldn't expect anything less.

Very cool video, this color is really amazing, a pity it doesn't match my setup which is primarily black and gray / wood.
one tip: The top of the backrest pushes the shoulders, but it can be adjusted, the reclining tension interacts with its rigidity.

Looks great in your setup. I went for the black as I was worried I would get bored of any other colour. Not 100% sure I made the right choice!
tysm! Really appreciate the kind comment :) Teal is awesome, although the advantage of black is that you can probably be more flexible with the colours on your desk setup if you change it up in the future!
@@dear_diary_days Yep that's very true! Over the past few weeks I've felt the need to go for the Atlas Headrest because of how I like to sit. Long wait time but look it up if you feel the need for a headrest too :)

@@KoNViiKz Yeah. Some people who ordered day one are still waiting. I only ordered a few weeks ago and I don't expect to see it until Autumn or Winter.

I just got my galaxy one and its super comfortable but it definitely took some adjusting
oh nice! Galaxy is such a beautiful colours isnt it! It does take some time to adjust, you can really fine tuning the amount of support in your back with the tilt tension and also the back fit adjustment. Hope you're enjoying your chair! 😊

I just bought a non gaming Embody yesterday, along with the aftermarket Atlas headrest. Now, if I can only survive the agonizing wait, I'm sure to be as pleased as you seem to be, four to six weeks in the future. Wish me luck.

I really like the color of this one as well as the amethyst one but I still ended up ordering the black and blue one since I imagine that the fabric as well as the plastic is going to be easier to keep clean when it's black.
Black definitely means less worries for spillages but I’m pretty careful around my desk so I’m not as worried about that!

Very nice colour! When reclining how easy is it to stay reclined? I work at my desk primarily, but in the evenings for a few hours i push the chair back, flatten my laptop and turn on the 55" OLED ready for some gaming. On my dx racer drift I lock the recline back about four notches, so just worried that i won't be able to comfortably do this in the embody. If i do buy it i will definitely buy the atlas headrest though.
Hey for the recline, it won’t stay reclined unless you have it on a super loose adjustment, even then I think the chair naturally tries to push you back to being up straight. I’d def recommend trying the chair out in a showroom or shop to see if it meets your needs!
I ended up buying it. As long as you have the tension loose enough it stays reclined. I've actually found it very hard to get used to cos I find the backrest to be very hard, especially when reclined, and the curve of my spine doesn't seem to perfectly fit any of the possible positions. I can't get a refund though, so I've been persevering with it for the last two months. It is getting better, but it's a slow process.
I also get the Galaxy one, feel satisfied so far :).

Yes the chair comes pre-assembled so there is no hassle when you unbox it and everything. It's ready to go out of the box!

Sorry for the delay! My desk is from fully and also foot rest is a Kensington footrest - super comfy!
Glad I found your video. I'm also 5'2 thinking about getting the embody. How do you like it after 8 months. I read reviews like if you don't sit straight your lower back will get sore easily due to the lack of lumbar support but not sure if that's true for a petite person 😂
I find it still very comfortable! I don’t really get the issue with the lower back at all. Highly recommend the chair 😊

Is the fabric of this chair prone to getting dirty easily? I'm also considering buying an gaming Embody chair and I'm hesitant between getting it in green or black. Thank you.
I haven’t personally got any spills or stains on my chair, I think time will tell if you use it and take care of it I do think you would need to worry about staining. The teal colour is actually slightly darker in person with a subtle pattern if you look up close so that helps. I think the purple colour would definitely be even more prone to staining than the teal colour as it’s much lighter

I’m about 5ft 2! Yes this chair is fine for my height - a good foot rest is so important. Sometimes I have the seat quite low so I can place my feet fully on the floor
