Best 2 grand I’ve spent, it hurt to spend that much but it’s worth it if you sit at the computer a lot. I never feel uncomfortable or feel the need to move around like my other chairs. And no more back pain. I love this chair

@@SpruceMoose-iv8un Did you get the gaming version or the standard? From what I could tell most of the complaints were with the gaming version. I just received mine yesterday (original version) and have no noise either. So far (one day of use) I love this chair.
I recently bought a normal Embody and really am considering swapping it for the gaming model after a week. I feel like the gaming model's extra cushioning would be better.
If you lightly lift the arms while moving them in and out it does not creak.
100% this. Lifting them a bit before moving them makes all the difference.

First few days was a pain in my ass. Had all types of pain. Now it’s been a week it feels a bit better. I’m hoping it will be super comfy before my return period is up
Same issue here. Has it improved? I'm making adjustments. Originally the lower back was hurting and causing me to go numb. But I fixed that, now the seat even with a cushion is what I am tackling next. If I can get this to break in a little more (either the chair or my body used to the chair) then I'll keep it. If not, before the 30 days are up, I'll return. I borrowed a the same chair from a neighbor before purchasing and didn't have any issues with it. So I wonder if there's just a break in period.
@@xHMProductionxfirst few days was a pain. After a week all the discomfort i had went away. I like the back rest mostly upright with the top slightly pressing up against my upper back. So far chair is great now. You just got to sit how the chair wants you to sit. For some people it took over a month. Idk if I would want to chance that if I’m in that situation. I do prefer my seat low but since my desk of kind of high to to position my legs and arms correctly i had to raise the chair and get a foot rest.
@@sauceyballs thanks for the reply. I also found the seat being all the way down helps with my legs still being at 90 degree bend. I have a sit stand desk so I was able to adjust but I know what you mean with yours. I’ll keep you posted. Trying my neighbors chair again today. See if it’s just my chair for now
Great review. what is the difference between the office version and the gaming version? is the difference too big?

According to HM website, the gaming chair has enhanced gaming seat with cooling foam? I made my decision solely because I like the overall color scheme of the gaming version.

Man, watch out. They void the warranty if you attach the headrest...
I think the atlas headrest is the only exception that doesn’t void the warranty

Have you tries the regular Embody , if yes whats the different between the regular and Logitech?

From what I understand, aside from the obvious visual differences, regular Embody has firmer foam on the seat and doesn't make as much noise. Gaming Embody has a bit of extra foam in the backrest which the regular does not, resulting in a slightly more upright feeling. Some people it bothers, some it doesn't.
Source: a bunch of research I did over the months before buying an Embody.
I had both and the Logitech is comfier for me
@@CloudMountainJuror Since the Logitch came out with the newer seat, the normal Embodys also now use that seat.
I want to buy this chair, but I have a doubt on the seat heat after long hours. What is your experience?
I have not experience any seat heat issue since I have owned this chair. However, since I bought it towards end of summer last year and have not use it during the middle of summer months, I don't know how the hot weather will affect it.
did you buy it? i'm considering the same thing and still not brave enough to pull a trigger on it.😂 i was living on a tropical weather.
@@aurakarya9319 I did, I am sitting on it right now! 😀 It is a definitely a different type of chair, comfort wise it is not the most comfortable one I ever tried, but that is because it forces you to sit in a proper position, that can be a good thing if you spend many hours at your desk.
Heat wise, it is good for me, much better than other chairs where my lower parts would star to become sweaty.
The looks of the chair and built quality are top.
@@danielekirylo i can sit all day and just only taking 2-3 hours for sleep, i do that for many days, approx 6months until feeling pains, now i suffer tailbone pain, thigh pain due by heats produced by my chair, my legs go numbs, back lower pain and now i can't sit anymore for more than just 1 hour, my productivity decreased significantly. do you think the chair gonna solved my problem? 🙄😮💨
@@aurakarya9319 it can help, but for those issues you might need to use a standing desk, which helps and most importantly do free body exercise to strengthen your abdominals and back muscles. 3 times a weak is enough, you don't need any tools, just a room and 45 min of your time. The correct sport exercises are the best cure for pains caused by long seating hours. Guaranteed. I have similar issue and can tell you how that works on my body. I am 44.

The most uncomfortable chair I've sat in. Not three months old. No refund from Herman Miller. Not worth the money.
